The ARIES 3" bull bar is made for those who face the uncertain road without fear. This particular model is constructed from 304 stainless steel. 304 stainless is high in nickel content, allowing the bull bar to easily resist water, road salt and rust and maintain its mirror-like polished finish in spite of the elements. Other available finishes include high-gloss black stainless steel, textured black steel and semi-gloss black steel. Customizing the look of your vehicle is simple with the ARIES 3" bull bar. It is equipped with pre-drilled light mounting holes and a removable skid plate. The center crossbar features two pre-drilled holes that readily accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The skid plate is made from 304 stainless steel and has a brushed finish to stop rust and hide scratches and scuffs. It also features an aggressive, ARIES-exclusive cutout pattern and can be removed for a customized look. Each ARIES 3" bull bar is made a vehicle-specific design, meaning that for each make and model, the bull bar has a custom bend and unique mounting brackets. This allows for the best possible fit on your vehicle and ensures solid attachment. The brackets also use pre-existing factory holes in the vehicle's frame to eliminate drilling, speed up installation and increase rigidity. This bull bar fits select model years of the Ram 2500 or 3500 and Dodge Ram 1500, Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 (see application info to verify fitment).

Yes. Vehicles with factory tow hooks use the existing factory fasteners to attach the brackets instead of M10 fasteners. The tow hooks must be removed before installation and can be reinstalled afterward using the fasteners you removed. Tow hook fasteners are torqued to 65 ft. lbs.
The kit includes: 1 bull bar, 2 universal mounting brackets, 8 M10 hex bolts, 16 M10 flat washers, 8 M10 lock washers, and 8 M10 hex nuts. If your vehicle has factory tow hooks, you will use the factory fasteners instead of the M10 fasteners provided.
Yes, removal of the center bumper filler panel is required for bracket installation. From the back side of the bumper, use a small screwdriver to first push out the center body of the rivet, then the main body. Remove all rivets and the filler panel completely.
All M10 fasteners on the bull bar and brackets must be torqued to 30 ft. lbs. If your vehicle has factory tow hooks, those fasteners are torqued separately to 65 ft. lbs. Do not fully tighten fasteners until the bull bar is leveled and adjusted to your desired position.
No. Leave all M10 fasteners loose during the initial bracket and bull bar attachment (steps 3 and 4). Only after you have leveled and adjusted the bull bar to your desired position should you torque all M10 fasteners to 30 ft. lbs and tow hook fasteners to 65 ft. lbs (step 5).
Locate the four holes on the frame bracket. Position the brackets to the two holes closest to the outside of the vehicle. Note: 1500 models use the two inside slots, while 2500 and 3500 models use the outside most slots. Ensure the mount tabs on the bull bar hoop are inside the brackets when attaching.
Yes. Before beginning installation, determine which bracket is for the passenger side and which is for the driver side. See Figure 3 in the manual for bracket identification.
Wax the bull bar after installation. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any polish or wax containing abrasives, as these can damage the finish. For stainless steel and aluminum, mild polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs. Mild soap may be used to clean the product.
Periodic inspections should be performed to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight. Check that all M10 fasteners (torqued to 30 ft. lbs) and tow hook fasteners (torqued to 65 ft. lbs) have not loosened over time.
