The ARIES 3" bull bar is made for those who face the uncertain road without fear. This particular model is constructed from 304 stainless steel. 304 stainless is high in nickel content, allowing the bull bar to easily resist water, road salt and rust and maintain its mirror-like polished finish in spite of the elements. Other available finishes include high-gloss black stainless steel, textured black steel and semi-gloss black steel. Customizing the look of your vehicle is simple with the ARIES 3" bull bar. It is equipped with pre-drilled light mounting holes and a removable skid plate. The center crossbar features two pre-drilled holes that readily accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The skid plate is made from 304 stainless steel and has a brushed finish to stop rust and hide scratches and scuffs. It also features an aggressive, ARIES-exclusive cutout pattern and can be removed for a customized look. Each ARIES 3" bull bar is made a vehicle-specific design, meaning that for each make and model, the bull bar has a custom bend and unique mounting brackets. This allows for the best possible fit on your vehicle and ensures solid attachment. The brackets also use pre-existing factory holes in the vehicle's frame to eliminate drilling, speed up installation and increase rigidity. This bull bar fits select model years of the Dodge Ram 1500, Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 (see application info to verify fitment).

1. Position Frame Mounting Brackets on driver side and locate the 2 holes in the frame between body mount brackets. 2. Bolt brackets into position with specified hardware, snug but do not tighten. 3. Repeat for passenger side. 4. Remove air dam and move to clean work area. 5. Position Bull Bar to inside of brackets with specified hardware, snug but do not tighten. 6. Check alignment and level, then tighten only the hardware securing brackets to truck (not Bull Bar hardware yet). 7. Remove Bull Bar. 8. Mark and cut approximately 3-1/8" holes in air dam for clearance. 9. Reinstall air dam with factory hardware. 10. Reinstall Bull Bar, level and adjust, then tighten all hardware.
Yes. When bolting the Mounting Bracket into position, you can use the factory hardware that was removed in Step 1 instead of the included 12mm x 30mm Hex Bolts, Flat Washers, Lock Washers and Hex Nuts for the top mounting holes. Save any factory hex bolts and nuts for potential reuse.
You must first check that the Bull Bar is centered and level on the vehicle. Only after confirming proper alignment should you tighten the hardware securing the Mounting Brackets to the truck. The Bull Bar hardware should remain snug but untightened until after the air dam is cut and reinstalled, then the Bull Bar is repositioned and final alignment is confirmed.
Mark the location of the Mounting Brackets onto the back of the air dam. Measure the brackets and mounting points before cutting to verify the marked location. Cut approximately 3-1/8" holes to clear the Bull Bar. Because factory air dam and bumper designs vary, the exact cut location must be determined by the installer. To maintain air dam integrity, do not cut holes larger than absolutely necessary. Make several small cuts and check fit frequently for a clean installation.
Use 4 12mm x 30mm Hex Bolts, 4 12mm Lock Washers, 8 12mm Flat Washers, and 4 12mm Hex Nuts to attach the Bull Bar to the Mounting Brackets.
Remove the air dam from the bottom of the bumper and move it to a clean, stable work area. Pay close attention to the type and location of all factory hardware so you can reinstall it correctly later.
Perform periodic inspections to ensure all hardware is secure and tight. Wax the product after installation to protect your investment. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any polish or wax containing abrasives, as these can damage the finish. For stainless steel, aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs, and mild soap may be used to clean. For gloss black finishes, use only mild soap to clean.
