It begins with a one-piece frame of 1/4" thick welded plates and 1-1/2" mandrel-bent tubing for a solid build. Each one is made with a vehicle-specific design for a better fit, easier install and more secure mounting. The side brush guards are custom-bent to contour to the profile of your vehicle, while the mounting brackets are positioned for a no-drill application. This means pre-existing factory holes are used to ensure optimum fitment and less vibration. This particular custom grille guard fits specific years of the Honda Ridgeline (see application info to verify). The ARIES grille guard also makes it easy to customize the look of your vehicle. Not only does the crossbar have two pre-drilled holes for mounting aftermarket LED lights, but many of our grille guards are also available in two finish options -- polished stainless steel or semi-gloss black steel. The stainless steel grille guard is made with 304 stainless, being high in nickel content and truly resistant to rust and corrosion. This option comes with a mirror-like polished finish for a definitive shine. The semi-gloss black grille guard is made with high-strength carbon steel for added strength. It features a tough, dual-layer E-coat and black powder coat finish to protect against rust, scratches and the elements. All ARIES grille guards also come with rubber stripping along the risers to protect the frame against scuffs and scratches.

Yes. You must remove the plastic push pins securing the plastic skid shield underneath the vehicle to access the frame mounting area. After installing the frame brackets, you will cut slots in the skid shield to fit the brackets through, then reattach the skid shield with the plastic push pins.
Yes. You must remove the plastic rivets securing the top plastic trim panel and remove the panel to access the factory holes where the 3/8″ well nuts are installed. After installing the well nuts and brackets, you reinstall the trim panel.
Locate the factory bolts that attach the cross bar from the frame to the lower radiator support. There are three bolts per side. Remove these bolts and slide the frame mounting bracket between the factory cross bar and the radiator support, then reinstall the factory bolts. Note: one bolt on the passenger side is 10 mm and is too short; it must be replaced with the supplied bolt from the kit.
The factory 10 mm bolt on the passenger side is too short to properly secure the frame mounting bracket between the cross bar and radiator support. The kit supplies a replacement bolt of the correct length.
No. The manual instructs you to keep all bolts loose during the initial assembly to allow the bar to be aligned with the front of the vehicle. Only after the front bar assembly is properly aligned with the front of the vehicle should you secure all fasteners.
Yes. You must use a utility knife to carefully cut slots in the bottom plastic skid shield to fit the frame brackets through. After cutting, you reattach the plastic skid shield over the frame brackets and secure it with plastic push pins.
The top support brackets are secured to the vehicle using #8 Phillips screws and ¼″ flat washers. These fasteners go through the brackets and into the 3/8″ well nuts that are installed in the factory holes under the top plastic trim panel.
The front bar assembly is attached to the lower brackets at the outer edge using 7/16 × 1¼ hex bolts, 7/16 hex nuts, and 7/16 flat washers. The top support bracket is attached using ¼ × ¾ screws.
