Connect to your lifestyle with a custom hitch receiver from CURT. All of our custom hitches are designed for a vehicle-specific fit, manufactured with pride, finished for industry-leading rust resistance and tested to rigorous SAE J684 standards for safety. This class 1 trailer hitch and ball mount combination is designed for a custom fit on select years of the Chrysler 200 (see application info to verify fitment). The hitch integrates with the vehicle's frame and provides a useful and dependable 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver. The receiver is perfect for attaching the included ball mount and towing a small trailer, or for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted cargo carrier, bike rack or other accessory. This particular class 1 hitch is rated for 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 200 pounds tongue weight (never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). The ball mount included with this trailer hitch quickly and easily installs into the hitch receiver and has a 3/4" trailer ball hole (trailer ball not included). It can be mounted in the rise or drop position to promote level towing. Like all CURT custom hitches, this class 1 hitch is protected with our co-cured finishing process. It is descaled for a smooth surface, immersed in liquid A-coat for rust resistance inside and out, covered with a durable black powder coat and finally co-cured for an industry-leading rust, chip and UV-resistant shield. No matter where you're headed or which season of the year you?re towing in, this CURT hitch is equipped for long-lasting resilience to the elements. It features an open-back receiver for easy cleaning, and it comes with all the hardware necessary for the installation.

Yes, CURT hitch 11403 is designed for the 2015 Chrysler 200 Sedan. It is a weight-carrying hitch with a maximum trailer weight capacity of 2,000 lbs and tongue weight capacity of 200 lbs. Always verify your vehicle matches the specifications before purchase.
The CURT 11403 is rated for a maximum trailer weight of 2,000 lbs and tongue weight of 200 lbs when used as a weight-carrying hitch. You must never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity.
The CURT 11403 is designed for use with ballmount #45521, or Euro ballmount #45571 (1 7/8" ball) and #45572 (2" ball). Verify the correct ballmount is selected for your towing application.
Required tools are: 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 13mm sockets; 3/4" socket; ratchet; 6" socket extension; Phillips screwdriver; power drill with 3/16" drill bit; rivet gun; and torque wrench. Safety glasses must be worn at all times during installation.
The kit includes: 4 hex flange nuts (HFN 1213, GR8); 4 square hole spacers (.250 x 1.00 x 3.00", CM-SP6); 4 carriage bolts (1/2-13 x 1 1/2, GR8); 4 pieces of 1/2" fishwire; and 4 3/16" rivets (11102628). Original vehicle hardware is reused for exhaust tips, fascia, and plastic shields.
Two people may be required to ease installation. If you are hesitant to undertake this task on your own, contact an authorized CURT installer for additional assistance.
Professional installation time is approximately 80 minutes. Novice (DIY) installation time is approximately 120 minutes. Actual time may vary depending on experience and vehicle condition.
Yes, drilling is required. You must drill out 1 rivet on each side of the exhaust tips using a 3/16" drill bit, and drill out rivets on each side of the plastic fascia using a 3/16" drill bit. A power drill is required.
Seam foam may need to be trimmed for proper mounting hole alignment during hitch installation. The exhaust may need to be temporarily lowered for ease of exhaust tip removal, but must be reinstalled before hitch attachment. These are the only modifications mentioned in the manual.
All 1/2" hardware (carriage bolts and hex flange nuts) must be torqued to 110 ft-lbs. Use a torque wrench to ensure proper tightness.
The exhaust may need to be temporarily lowered for ease of exhaust tip removal, but it must be reinstalled before hitch attachment. To lower the exhaust, remove 2 isolator brackets from each side of the frame rails using a 13mm socket to remove 4 bolts per side. After removing the exhaust tips, raise the exhaust back into position and secure it before proceeding with hitch installation.
Fishwiring is a technique used to thread 1/2" hardware through frame access holes and out mounting holes. For the CURT 11403, you must fishwire 1/2" hardware through access holes and out mounting holes (2 places on each side) to secure the hitch to the frame. This allows fastening without direct access to the mounting holes.
1. Remove corner plastic shields (8mm socket for 3 bolts, Phillips screwdriver for 1 nut per side). 2. Optionally lower exhaust by removing isolator brackets (13mm socket for 4 bolts per side). 3. Remove exhaust tips by drilling out 1 rivet per side (3/16" drill bit) and removing 3 bolts per side (7mm socket). 4. Remove plastic fascia by drilling out rivets (3/16" drill bit), removing 3 center bolts (10mm socket), unclipping around exhaust outlets, and gently pulling away. 5. Raise exhaust if lowered, remove square plugs from frame access holes, remove tape from mounting holes, and fishwire 1/2" hardware through access holes (2 places per side). 6. Raise hitch into position, secure with 1/2" flange nuts, trim seam foam if needed, and torque all 1/2" hardware to 110 ft-lbs. Reinsert square plugs. 7. Reinstall exhaust tips, fascia, and shields using original hardware and provided rivets.
All non-trailer loads applied to the CURT 11403 must be supported by 18050 stabilizing straps. Failure to properly support non-trailer loads will void the product warranty. CURT recommends the use of 18050 stabilizing straps for all non-trailer (wheel-less) loads.
Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. The CURT 11403 is rated for 2,000 lbs trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight, but your vehicle's manufacturer may have a lower limit. Always follow the more restrictive specification.
After installation, verify that all fasteners are tight and all structural components are sound. Periodically check the receiver hitch to ensure all fasteners remain tight and structural components remain sound during ownership.
Periodically check the receiver hitch to ensure all fasteners are tight and all structural components are sound. The manual does not specify an exact inspection interval, but regular checks are recommended to maintain safety and warranty compliance.

Seam foam may need to be trimmed for proper mounting hole alignment. Carefully trim away any seam foam that is preventing the hitch from seating correctly in the mounting holes. Ensure the hitch is raised fully into position before torquing the fasteners.
The mounting holes are accessed through the frame. Remove the square plugs from the frame access holes on both sides. Remove the tape covering the rear outboard mounting holes.
