The CURT adjustable trailer hitch ball mount with dual ball from CURT is made with high strength steel, and is built for durability and strength for dependable and safe towing. Built for varying applications, the adjustable ball can be raised or lowered for varying heights to ensure level towing. The dual ball has two sizes in one, preventing the need to carry more than one attachment. The highly versatile design works with multiple vehicle-trailer combinations, providing for a rise of up to 4-1/2" and a drop of up to 5-1/2", and the dual ball attachment can be used with other CURT WD shanks. Anti-rattle technology encourages a quiet ride providing reduced noise for passengers. The unique vibration resistant clip design prevents the need for two separate clips and installs snugly over both pins with just one. Made with strong steel and with its durable carbide powder coat finish and chrome-plated trailer balls, the hitch is weather and corrosion resistant and made to endure years of use. The 2" ball is rated for 10,000 lbs. and the 2-5/16" ball is rated for 15,000 lbs. and is included with a limited lifetime warranty ? one year on parts and finish.

The CURT 45935 has a gross trailer weight (GTW) capacity of 15,000 lbs and a tongue weight (TW) capacity of 1,500 lbs. Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity, as the mount system ratings represent only the product's capability, not the complete towing system.
The CURT 45935 includes: one adjustable shank, one dual ball, two pins, and one clip. The hitch pin and clip needed to secure the shank to your vehicle's receiver tube are sold separately.
No tools are required for installation of the CURT 45935. The assembly process uses only the included pins and clip.
Level your trailer and measure from the bottom of the trailer tongue to the ground. Find the hole on the adjustable shank that matches this measurement—the trailer ball platform will be centered on that hole. This ensures proper coupler alignment and safe towing.
1. Insert the adjustable shank into your vehicle's trailer hitch receiver and secure with a hitch pin and clip (sold separately). 2. Determine the proper ball height by measuring your trailer tongue. 3. Slide the tongue onto the shank, aligning with the correct hole locations. 4. Insert the top pin first, then apply downward force and insert the bottom pin. 5. Secure both pins with the included clip. For the highest mounting position, install the bottom pin first with the tongue angled downward, then apply upward force to install the second pin.
Slide the tongue onto the shank and align it with the proper hole locations based on your determined ball height. Angle the tongue slightly upwards and press it toward the shank. Insert a pin into the top tongue hole first. Then apply downward force to the tongue and slide the second pin into the bottom hole. Secure both pins with the included clip. Note: at the highest mounting position, install the bottom pin first with the tongue angled downward, then apply upward force to install the second pin.
You must use a hitch pin and clip from CURT Manufacturing. The provided pins are specifically engineered for this system. Using any other pin is a serious safety hazard and will void the warranty. If replacement pins are needed, they must be replaced with original factory CURT# 45931 pins.
No. Never hook up trailer safety chains to the mount system. Ensure the safety chains operate freely around the mount system and do not become entangled. Safety chains must be attached to the vehicle frame or towing system, not to the hitch mount.
Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. The CURT 45935 ratings represent only the product's capability and do not reflect the ratings or capacity of your complete towing system. You must learn the ratings of all components in your towing system and never exceed the limits of the lowest-rated component.
Use mild automotive detergent to clean the product. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes, or similar products that may damage the finish.
The CURT 45935 is an adjustable dual ball mount that installs into a vehicle's trailer hitch receiver. It allows you to tow trailers with different coupler heights by adjusting the ball height to match your trailer's tongue measurement.
You must purchase a hitch pin and clip separately to secure the shank to your vehicle's receiver tube. These are not included with the mount.
No tools are required. Installation uses only the included pins and clip.
Level your trailer and measure from the bottom of the tongue to the ground. Match this measurement to a hole on the adjustable shank—that hole determines where the ball will sit.
Use only a CURT hitch pin. Using any other pin is a safety hazard and voids the warranty. Replacement pins must be CURT# 45931.
Gross trailer weight capacity is 15,000 lbs; tongue weight capacity is 1,500 lbs. Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's towing capacity.
