The CURT adjustable trailer hitch ball mount with dual ball from CURT is forged from steel, and is built for durability and strength for dependable and safe towing. Built for varying applications, the adjustable ball can be raised or lowered for varying heights to ensure level towing. The dual ball has two sizes in one, preventing the need to carry more than one attachment. The highly versatile design works with multiple vehicle-trailer combinations, providing for a drop of up to 11-3/4", and the dual ball attachment can be used with other CURT WD shanks. Anti-rattle technology encourages a quiet ride providing reduced noise for passengers. The unique vibration resistant clip design prevents the need for two separate clips and installs snugly over both pins with just one. Forged from steel and with its durable carbide powder coat finish and chrome-plated trailer balls, the hitch is weather and corrosion resistant and made to endure years of use. The yellow zinc 2" ball is rated for 10,000 lbs. and the 2-5/16 ball is rated for 20,000 lbs. and is included with a limited lifetime warranty ? one year on parts and finish.

The CURT 45939 is an adjustable dual ball mount designed to attach to a trailer hitch receiver tube. It features an adjustable shank that allows you to set the ball height to match your trailer coupler height, and includes a dual ball platform. The mount is rated for a gross trailer weight (GTW) of 20,000 lbs and a tongue weight (TW) of 2,000 lbs.
The package includes: (1) adjustable shank, (1) dual ball platform, (2) pins, and (1) clip. The hitch pin and clip used to secure the shank into the receiver tube are sold separately and must be purchased.

Level your trailer on level ground. Measure the distance from the bottom of the trailer tongue to the ground. Find the hole on the adjustable shank (#1) that is closest to that measurement. The dual ball platform (#2) will be centered on that hole when installed. This ensures the ball height matches your trailer coupler height.
1. Insert the adjustable shank (#1) into your vehicle's trailer hitch receiver tube and secure it with a hitch pin and clip (sold separately). 2. Determine the proper ball height by measuring your trailer tongue height and finding the matching hole on the shank. 3. Slide the dual ball platform (#2) onto the shank, aligning it with the proper hole locations. 4. Angle the platform slightly upwards and press it toward the shank. 5. Insert the first pin (#3) into the top tongue hole. 6. Apply downward force to the platform and insert the second pin into the bottom hole. 7. Secure both pins with the clip (#4). Note: If using the highest mounting position, install the bottom pin first with the platform angled downward, then apply upward force to install the top pin.
Slide the dual ball platform (#2) onto the shank and align it with the proper hole locations based on your determined ball height. Angle the platform slightly upwards and press it toward the shank. Insert a pin (#3) into the top tongue hole first. To pin the bottom hole, apply downward force to the platform and slide the second pin into place. For the highest mounting position, install the bottom pin first with the platform angled downward, then apply upward force to install the top pin. Secure both pins with the included clip (#4).
The CURT 45939 is rated for a gross trailer weight (GTW) of 20,000 lbs and a tongue weight (TW) of 2,000 lbs. However, you must never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. The ratings of the mount system represent the capability of the product only and do not reflect the ratings or capacity of your vehicle's towing system. Always verify the lowest rated component in your entire towing system and never exceed that limit.
No. You must use only CURT hitch pins. The provided pins are specifically engineered for this system. If replacement pins are needed, they must be replaced with original factory mount pins (CURT# 45931). Using any other pin could be a serious safety hazard and will void the warranty.
No. Never hook up trailer safety chains to the mount system. Ensure the safety chains operate freely around the mount system and do not become entangled.
Use mild automotive detergent to clean the product. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes or other similar products that may damage the finish.
No tools are required. Installation uses only pins and a clip.
