The lights have alignment tabs that are pressure fit into the vehicle body; you will need to wiggle them back and forth to loosen them. Disconnect the taillight connectors carefully to avoid damaging the locking tabs. After routing the harness, you will reinstall the taillights in Step 5.
Fish wiring is a method to push or pull an electrical wire through a blind hole or cavity. Make sure the fish wire is long enough to stick out on the other side. Insert it through the blind hole and locate it on the other side. Use tape to secure the harness to the fish wire and pull back up.
