CURT electrical connector brackets provide a simple solution for mounting wiring to your trailer hitch or the rear of your vehicle. Connector wires can be a nuisance when they are just lying around. They can get tangled up with cargo and even damaged. An electrical connector left to hang off the back end of your vehicle is an even greater hazard. Secure, protect and optimize the use of your electrical connector by mounting it with a CURT connector bracket. CURT Easy-Mount electrical brackets are an especially convenient option for mounting your connector wiring to your trailer hitch. They mount over the opening of the receiver tube and are held secure using a set of independent screws, meaning there is no drilling or clamping required. Easy-Mount brackets feature solid steel construction, so they will not crack or break like competitive products, and they have a notched design to allow easy access to the receiver hitch pin and clip. This particular CURT Easy-Mount electrical bracket is designed to fit over a 2" x 2" receiver tube opening and provide a sturdy mounting place, right beside your trailer hitch receiver, for a 4-way or 5-way flat connector or 6-way or 7-way round connector. When it comes to plugging in your trailer lights, it pays not to skimp out. CURT electrical is the smart way to ensure that your trailer lights and electrical systems are prepared for the road ahead. Keep the power flowing, no matter where your adventures take you, with quality electrical products from CURT.

The CURT 58000 is an electrical bracket that mounts to a receiver tube hitch. It provides a mounting point for 6-way or 7-way plugs and 4-way or 5-way flat connectors, allowing you to connect trailer wiring to your vehicle.
The CURT 58000 is designed to slide over a receiver tube collar. Fitment depends on your specific hitch and receiver tube. Check for adequate clearance for the bracket, plugs and wiring before installation. If there is a larger gap between the collar and bracket, use the supplied spacers.
You will need a wrench set and a socket set to install the CURT 58000.
The CURT 58000 includes: 8 nylock nuts (M5 - 0.8), 2 carriage bolts (M5 - 0.8 x 20mm), 2 carriage bolts (M5 - 0.8 x 90mm), 4 pan head slotted screws (M5 - 0.8 x 20mm), 1 mounting bracket, and 2 spacers.
Yes. Before installing the electrical bracket, form the lower bracket flange by pushing it against the ground until it creates a snug fit around the receiver tube. This helps create a tighter fit during installation. Also check for adequate clearance for the bracket, plugs and wiring before you begin.
1. Attach the 6- or 7-way plug and your 4- or 5-way flat to the bracket using the provided hardware, tightening evenly until snug. 2. Slide the electrical bracket over the receiver tube collar, using supplied spacers if needed for larger gaps. 3. Secure the bracket to the receiver tube collar using the provided hardware. If there is not adequate space to insert a bolt from above, insert it from below.
Use the supplied spacers as needed if there is a larger gap between the receiver tube collar and the electrical bracket. This helps ensure a proper fit.
No. Do not overtighten the hardware. Overtightening can cause the front of the bracket to bow or the hardware to break. Tighten the hardware evenly until snug.
Use mild automotive detergent and water to clean the product. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes or other similar products, as these may damage the finish.
The manual does not specify whether vehicle modifications are required. Check for adequate clearance for the bracket, plugs and wiring before installation.
Yes. Push the lower bracket flange against the ground until it creates a snug fit around the receiver tube before installing the bracket.
Overtightening can cause the front of the bracket to bow or the hardware to break. Tighten evenly until snug only.
Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes or similar products. Use mild automotive detergent only.
