Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

No, drilling is not required. The manual lists "Drill Bits: None" under Equipment Required.
You need an 11/16" wrench, a torque wrench, pull wire, and lubricant. No drill bits are required.
Yes. You must lower the exhaust by detaching it from the rubber isolators, and after installation, bend the exhaust hanger spears downward ½" for additional muffler clearance before reattaching the exhaust.
Tighten all 7/16"-14 GR5 fasteners with a torque wrench to 55 Lb.-Ft. (75 N·M).
Tighten all 3/8"-16 GR5 fasteners with a torque wrench to 30 Lb.-Ft. (41 N·M).
Maximum Gross Trailer Weight is 2000 LB (908 kg) and Maximum Tongue Weight is 200 LB (90.8 kg). Do not exceed the lower of these ratings or the towing vehicle manufacturer's rating.
Fastener Kit 24920F includes: 1 carriage bolt 7/16" x 1-1/4" GR5, 2 carriage bolts 7/16" x 1-1/2" GR5, 2 spacers ¼" x 1" x 1.5", 3 spacers ¼" x 7/8" x 3", 3 hex nuts 7/16" GR5, 3 conical toothed washers 7/16", 1 U-bolt 3/8", 2 flat washers 3/8", 2 lock washers 3/8", and 2 hex nuts 3/8".
No, the drawbar is sold separately. Drawbar Kit 3593 is available as an optional purchase.
The drawbar must be used in the RISE position only.
Spraying lubricant on the rubber isolators helps with removal, making it easier to detach the exhaust from the isolators during the first step of installation.
The shorter 7/16" x 1-1/4" bolt (item 1) must be installed on the passenger side frame rail. The manual explicitly states: "shorter bolt must be on passenger side."
The Reverse Pull Wire Procedure (shown in Figure 5) is used to install carriage bolts through the frame rails. The procedure involves inserting the bolt and block into the frame, aligning the block on the access hole, and pulling the bolt through the block. This technique allows bolts to be installed without drilling.
The pull wire should remain attached until the conical washers are installed. In Step 5, you raise the hitch into position, feed the conical washers through the pull wire to hold the carriage bolts in place, then remove the pull wires and attach the hex nuts.
After hanging the U-bolt around the tow hook and through the holes on the chain plate, and installing the flat washer, lock washer, and 3/8" nuts, center the hitch before tightening all fasteners to the required torque specifications.
The conical toothed washers (item 5) are used to hold the carriage bolts in place. They are fed through the pull wire and positioned before the hex nuts are attached.
Bend the exhaust hanger spears downward ½" for additional muffler clearance. This modification is performed after raising the hitch into position and before reattaching the exhaust to the rubber isolators.
Two types of spacers are used: 2 spacers measuring ¼" x 1" x 1.5" (item 3) and 3 spacers measuring ¼" x 7/8" x 3" (item 7).
The U-bolt is 3/8" in diameter. It is hung around the tow hook and through the holes on the chain plate, with a flat washer, lock washer, and 3/8" hex nuts installed on each end.
If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Do not continue to use a damaged hitch.
Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
Check the hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened.
No drilling is required. The only vehicle modification is lowering and bending the exhaust hanger spears downward ½" for muffler clearance. The hitch uses the existing frame rails and tow hook.
On the driver side, install the forward bolt and spacer first (items 2 & 3), leaving the pull wire attached. Then, using the reverse pull wire procedure, install the rearward bolt and spacer (items 2 & 3), also leaving the pull wire attached.
Place spacers (item 7) on the driver side bracket, then feed the pull wire end through the appropriate slots shown in Figure 3. Also feed the pull wire through the slot on the passenger side.
