Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Our selection of CURT 2-inch receiver hitches includes options for trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans and passenger vehicles. Each hitch is engineered to match specific vehicle mounting points, helping provide a clean installation and dependable performance. Depending on the vehicle application, available options may include Class 3, Class 4 and heavy-duty receiver hitches with different gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities.
A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.

Yes. The installation instructions state to remove the side brackets from the hitch before beginning installation. These fasteners are to be reused during installation.
The first step is to lower the exhaust by removing the two 8mm bolts from the hanger bracket on both sides of the vehicle.
After enlarging the access hole with a die grinder, thread the 7/16" carriage bolts and spacers through the enlarged access hole and out through the two side mounting holes in the frame rail using fishwire. Leave the fishwires attached. Then raise the side brackets over the fishwires, remove the fishwires, and install conical washers and nuts on both sides, hand tight only at this time.
Slide the hitch in from the rear passenger side of the vehicle over the exhaust and into position.
No. During initial assembly, keep all fasteners hand tight only. The side bracket fasteners (step 4), hitch-to-bracket fasteners (step 6), and hanger bracket fasteners (step 7) should all remain hand tight until the final torque step.
Four round-hole spacers measuring 0.250 x 1 x 1.5 inches are sandwiched between the hanger bracket and frame rail on both sides (two spacers per side). Ensure the holes on the hanger bracket and spacers line up for the bolt to pass through.
All M8 CL10.9 fasteners must be tightened to 20 Lb.-Ft. (27 N·M) using a torque wrench.
All 7/16" GR5 fasteners must be tightened to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N·M) using a torque wrench.
If needed, you may remove the two nuts holding the inner fender on the passenger side to ease installation of the forward attachment point.
Always wear safety glasses when installing the hitch. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced.
Load the trailer heavier in front. Do not exceed the lower of your towing vehicle manufacturer's rating or the hitch maximum of 3500 lb. gross trailer weight and 525 lb. tongue weight.
Slow down when towing and never exceed any posted speed limit.
The average installation time for professional installers is 45 minutes. If you do not feel comfortable performing this installation on your own or are in need of assistance, please contact a professional installer.
