Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Our selection of CURT 2-inch receiver hitches includes options for trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans and passenger vehicles. Each hitch is engineered to match specific vehicle mounting points, helping provide a clean installation and dependable performance. Depending on the vehicle application, available options may include Class 3, Class 4 and heavy-duty receiver hitches with different gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities.
A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.
Shop CURT 2-inch trailer hitches at TowUniverse for vehicle-specific fitment, trusted towing performance and access to the accessories needed to complete your towing setup.

Fastener kit 76020F includes: (4) carriage bolts ½"-13 x 1.75 Gr8, (4) conical washers 1/2'', (4) blocks 1/4'' x 1'' x 3'', (4) hex nuts ½"-13 Gr8, and (4) pull wires ½''.

Yes. You must pry off the four rubber exhaust hangers using exhaust removal pliers or a suitable tool. Spray with soapy water to make removal easier. Be sure to support the exhaust system during this process.
The fishwire method is used to route the carriage bolts and blocks through the vehicle frame access holes to the attachment points. Pull wires are attached to the bolts and left in place until the hitch is raised into position. The pull wires are then removed and the conical washers and hex nuts are installed onto the carriage bolts. See Figures 2 and 3 in the manual for detailed illustrations.
All hitch fasteners must be tightened to 110 Lb.-Ft. (149 N·M) using a torque wrench. Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
The conical washers must be installed with the teeth side facing toward the hitch. This orientation is critical for proper fastener engagement.
After raising the hitch into position: (1) guide the fishwire ends through the attachment holes, (2) remove the pull wires, (3) install the conical washers (teeth side toward hitch) and ½'' hex nuts onto the carriage bolts, and (4) ensure no wires or other items have been pinched between the hitch and vehicle frame.
Yes. After tightening all hitch fasteners, raise the exhaust back into position and reinstall all four exhaust hangers.
Check that all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. The manual recommends checking the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners remain tight during use.
If excess sway occurs, take your foot off the gas pedal and hold the steering wheel as steady as possible. Do not apply your brakes and do not speed up.
Load the trailer heavier in front. This helps maintain proper weight distribution and stability while towing.
Always wear safety glasses when installing the hitch. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
Check the hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. The manual does not specify an exact interval, but periodic inspection is required.
A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Do not continue using a damaged hitch.
Return the plastic expanding fasteners and lower trim panel to the vehicle owner after installation.
If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
Slow down when towing and never exceed any posted speed limit. Always wear your seatbelt while towing.
