Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Our selection of CURT 2-inch receiver hitches includes options for trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans and passenger vehicles. Each hitch is engineered to match specific vehicle mounting points, helping provide a clean installation and dependable performance. Depending on the vehicle application, available options may include Class 3, Class 4 and heavy-duty receiver hitches with different gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities.
A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.

Yes, the 76266 hitch is designed for 2019-Current Cadillac XT4 models. Visit the manufacturer's website for the most up-to-date information regarding specific application years and trim levels.
The 76266 is a weight-carrying hitch with a maximum gross trailer weight of 4500 lb (2043 kg) and maximum tongue weight of 675 lb (306 kg). Do not exceed the lower of your vehicle manufacturer's towing rating or these limits.
Required tools: ratchet, torque wrench, safety glasses, 7 mm and 15 mm sockets, 6-inch socket extension, T15 and T20 Torx screwdrivers, plastic trim removal tools, and tape. A torque wrench is essential for proper fastener tightening.
The average installation time for professional installers is 80 minutes. If you do not feel comfortable performing this installation on your own or are in need of assistance, please contact a professional installer.
No drilling is required. The hitch attaches to existing M10 studs in the vehicle's end panel. The vehicle's rear fascia must be removed to access the attachment points, but no holes need to be drilled.
Tighten all 10 mm fasteners with a torque wrench to 53 Lb-Ft (72 N·M). Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
Always wear safety glasses during installation. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle. Do not use a torch to cut access or attachment holes. Be extra careful at the taillight area—the fascia attachment is tight and the bottom of the taillight is very sharp and will scratch the fascia. Masking the bottom of the taillight is recommended.
Check all fasteners are tight and the hitch is securely mounted to the vehicle periodically. Verify that all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
The part numbers are 76266, 84266, and CQT76266. All three part numbers refer to the same hitch receiver for the 2019-Current Cadillac XT4.
No. The 76266 is a weight-carrying hitch only. Weight-distributing capability is listed as N/A for this model. If you need weight-distributing functionality, you will need a different hitch model.
Follow these steps in order: (1) Remove the rear fascia, (2) Lower the exhaust, (3) Remove the bumper beam, (4) Install the hitch, (5) Reinstall the exhaust hangers, (6) Tighten all fasteners to 53 Lb-Ft (72 N·M), (7) Reinstall the fascia. The bumper beam and exhaust must be removed to access the M10 studs where the hitch attaches.
Yes. The bumper beam must be removed to access the M10 studs in the vehicle's end panel where the hitch attaches. Remove the four 10 mm factory nuts (two each side) with a 15 mm socket, save them for reinstallation, and set the bumper beam aside. After installing the hitch, reinstall the bumper beam over the hitch.
Yes. The exhaust must be lowered to allow the hitch to be positioned correctly. Remove the two M10 factory bolts from the exhaust hangers (one each side) using a 15 mm socket while supporting the exhaust to prevent damage. After installing the hitch, reinstall these bolts through the exhaust hanger, bumper, and hitch.
Four factory M10 nuts from the bumper beam (two each side) and two factory M10 bolts from the exhaust hangers (one each side) are removed and reused. These fasteners must be saved and reinstalled during the hitch installation. No additional fasteners are supplied in the fastener kit 76266F.
Open the liftgate. Remove plastic covers next to the taillights by pulling upward. Use a T20 Torx to remove fascia screws on each side. Remove wheel well trim using plastic fascia removal tools and remove the screw behind it with a 7 mm socket. Use a T15 Torx to remove wheel well liner screws. Remove the hitch access panel and use T15 Torx to remove screws at the bottom of the fascia. Starting from the wheel well area, carefully pull the fascia away using plastic tools to release clips, working toward the middle from each wheel well. Be extra careful at the taillight area—the attachment is tight and the taillight bottom is sharp. Masking the taillight bottom is recommended. Unplug electrical connectors and set the fascia aside for reinstallation. Save all fascia fasteners.
Reverse the order of Step 1 (fascia removal). Reinstall the fascia and taillight covers, ensuring all electrical connectors removed earlier are plugged back in. The vehicle fascia has a removable panel for hitch usage that may be replaced when the hitch is not in use.
Fasteners should be left loose during initial installation. After installing the hitch and reinstalling the exhaust hangers, tighten all 10 mm fasteners with a torque wrench to 53 Lb-Ft (72 N·M) in Step 6. This ensures proper alignment before final tightening.
You will need 7 mm and 15 mm sockets. The 7 mm socket is used to remove the screw behind the wheel well trim. The 15 mm socket is used to remove and reinstall the M10 factory bolts from the exhaust hangers and the M10 factory nuts from the bumper beam.
T15 and T20 Torx screwdrivers are required. T20 is used to remove fascia screws on each side. T15 is used to remove screws in the wheel well liner and to remove screws that hold the bottom of the fascia to the vehicle.
If excess sway occurs, take your foot off the gas pedal and hold the steering wheel as steady as possible. Do not apply your brakes and do not speed up. Slow down when towing and never exceed any posted speed limit.
Load the trailer heavier in front. This helps maintain proper weight distribution and stability while towing.
A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced immediately. Do not continue to use a damaged hitch or ball, as it may fail during towing and cause serious injury, death, or property damage.
Check all fasteners are tight and your hitch is securely mounted to your vehicle periodically. The manual recommends frequent checks to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened, especially before towing.
If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. This protects the vehicle's interior and prevents corrosion.
No. The 76266 hitch is designed for 2019-Current Cadillac XT4 models only. It is not compatible with earlier model years. Visit the manufacturer's website for the most up-to-date information regarding specific application years and trim levels.
Raise the hitch into position aligning the attachment holes with the M10 studs in the end panel. The hitch attachment holes must align precisely with the existing M10 studs in the vehicle's end panel for proper installation.
The vehicle fascia has a removable panel for hitch usage. This panel may be replaced when the hitch is not in use, allowing you to conceal the hitch access area when towing is not needed.
The 76266 hitch is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty from Horizon Global Americas Inc. The warranty covers material defects in both material and workmanship, excluding ordinary wear and tear. The warranty is valid only if products are installed, maintained, and used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. To make a warranty claim, contact Horizon Global at 47912 Halyard Drive, Suite 100, Plymouth, MI 48170, 1-800-632-3290. You must provide the product and purchase receipt to process a claim.
The 76266 hitch complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
Do not cut, weld, or modify this receiver. Any cutting, welding, or modification will compromise the structural integrity and safety of the hitch and may void the warranty.
Yes. Always wear your seatbelt when towing. This is a critical safety requirement to protect yourself in the event of an accident or emergency.
Check all fasteners are tight and your hitch is securely mounted to your vehicle periodically. If fasteners have become loose, use a torque wrench to re-tighten all 10 mm fasteners to 53 Lb-Ft (72 N·M). Loose fasteners can cause the hitch to shift during towing, creating a safety hazard. If fasteners repeatedly loosen, the hitch may need to be removed and inspected for damage or misalignment.
The manual warns that the fascia can be damaged if pulled too far away from the vehicle or if the sharp taillight edges scratch it. To prevent damage, use plastic fascia removal tools (not metal), work carefully from the wheel well toward the middle, and mask the bottom of the taillight. If damage occurs, the fascia may need to be repaired or replaced. Contact a professional installer or body shop for assessment and repair.
The hitch attachment holes must align precisely with the M10 studs in the vehicle's end panel. If alignment is difficult, ensure the hitch is being raised straight into position without tilting. The bumper beam and exhaust must be properly positioned to allow the hitch to sit correctly. If alignment remains problematic, stop and consult a professional installer, as forcing misaligned fasteners can damage the hitch or vehicle.
Yes, a compatible bike rack, cargo carrier or other accessory with a 2" x 2" shank can generally be used. Make sure the accessory does not exceed the hitch’s tongue weight rating, the vehicle’s limits or the accessory manufacturer’s capacity. Account for the combined weight of the carrier and everything loaded onto it.
