Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Equip your vehicle for towing and hitch-mounted accessories with a dependable CURT 2" trailer hitch. Designed for a vehicle-specific fit, CURT receiver hitches provide a strong and secure connection point for towing trailers, carrying bikes, transporting cargo and using other compatible 2-inch hitch accessories.
Our selection of CURT 2-inch receiver hitches includes options for trucks, SUVs, crossovers, vans and passenger vehicles. Each hitch is engineered to match specific vehicle mounting points, helping provide a clean installation and dependable performance. Depending on the vehicle application, available options may include Class 3, Class 4 and heavy-duty receiver hitches with different gross trailer weight and tongue weight capacities.
A 2" x 2" receiver opening is one of the most common hitch sizes and works with a wide range of towing accessories, including ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, hitch steps and tow hooks. When towing a trailer, you may also need a properly rated trailer ball, hitch pin, wiring harness, brake controller or weight distribution system.
CURT trailer hitches feature a durable black finish designed to help protect against rust, scratches and exposure to road conditions. Many models install using existing holes in the vehicle frame, although drilling, trimming or temporary removal of vehicle components may be required for certain applications.
Use our vehicle fitment tools to find the correct CURT 2" trailer hitch for your year, make and model. Always compare the hitch rating with your vehicle’s towing capacity and the ratings of every component in your towing setup. The maximum towing capacity is determined by the lowest-rated component.
Shop CURT 2-inch trailer hitches at TowUniverse for vehicle-specific fitment, trusted towing performance and access to the accessories needed to complete your towing setup.

Yes, part number 75912 is designed for Ford Transit. The manual specifies this hitch is for Ford Transit applications. Wiring access is available at locations SUV 1 and SUV 2.
The 75912 hitch has two configurations: Weight Distributing type supports a maximum gross trailer weight of 8000 lb (3632 kg) with a maximum tongue weight of 900 lb (408 kg); Weight Carrying Ball Mount type supports a maximum gross trailer weight of 6000 lb (2722 kg) with a maximum tongue weight of 900 lb (408 kg). Do not exceed the lower of the towing vehicle manufacturer's rating or these hitch maximums.
You will need wrenches in 15mm and 3/4 inch sizes, and a torque wrench. No drill bits are required as the installation uses self-tapping bolts into existing frame rail locations.
The fastener kit 75912F includes: 2 carriage bolts 1/2-13 X 1.50 GR5, 2 hex nuts 1/2-13, 2 spacers .25 X 1.00 X 3.00, 4 self-tapping bolts M12 X 1.75 X 40, 2 conical washers 1/2 inch, and 2 pull wires 1/2 inch.
No, drilling is not required. The 75912 uses self-tapping bolts that thread directly into the frame rail at pre-existing locations. The manual lists drill bits as 'None' under Equipment Required.
1. Thread self-tapping bolts (M12 X 1.75 X 40) slowly into frame rail locations, keeping them perpendicular, until halfway or more inserted, then remove them. 2. Feed the coiled end of the pull wire through the forward slot in the frame rail and out the open end. Attach carriage bolt and spacer to the pull wire. Pull the wire with fasteners into location through the forward hole. 3. Raise the hitch into position, feeding pull wires through adjacent slots on the hitch. Feed conical washer over pull wire to hold the bolt in place, remove pull wires, and attach hex nut. Tighten to hold hitch in place; repeat on opposite frame rail. 4. Reinstall self-tapping bolts. Once all bolts are in place, center hitch on vehicle and tighten. 5. Torque all fasteners to specification.
Start the first few threads slowly while keeping the bolt perpendicular to the frame rail. This ensures proper alignment. The bolts have a self-aligning feature, but initial perpendicular positioning is critical. Thread the bolt halfway or more into the frame rail, then remove it to be reinstalled later after the hitch is positioned.
Tighten all M12 X 1.75 fasteners with a torque wrench to 75 Lb.-Ft. (102 N·M).
Tighten all 1/2-13 GR5 fasteners with a torque wrench to 75 Lb.-Ft. (102 N·M).
The pull wire is used to guide the carriage bolt and spacer through the frame rail into the correct position. The coiled end of the pull wire is fed through the forward slot in the frame rail and out the open end. The carriage bolt and spacer are attached to the pull wire, then the wire is pulled to draw the fasteners into location through the forward hole. After positioning, the pull wires are removed and the hex nut is attached.
After raising the hitch into position and feeding the pull wires through the adjacent slots on the hitch, feed the conical washer over the pull wire. The washer is used to hold the bolt in place. Once the washer is positioned, remove the pull wires and attach the hex nut.
Center the hitch on the vehicle after all self-tapping bolts are in place but before final tightening. Once centered, tighten all fasteners to their torque specifications.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. The manual emphasizes regular inspection as part of ongoing maintenance.
Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not use a torch to cut access or attachment holes. If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball that has been damaged should be removed and replaced immediately.
If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
The 75912 hitch complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
