Draw-Tite Front Mounted Receiver hitches provide the perfect attachment point for a variety of accessories. Use it to connect spare tires, snowplows, winches, cargo carriers, and more! Each front mounted receiver hitch is custom built according to manufacturer make and model year specifications and bolts to the underside of the vehicle frame, making installation a breeze! This particular front mount receiver hitch is rated up to 500 lbs. tongue weight and up to 9,000 lbs. line pull with a 2 inch square tube receiver opening for your attachments. Each is made of solid, all-welded steel for maximum strength and safety with a black powder coat finish to resist rust and corrosion. Draw-Tite front hitches are tested to exceed V-5 and SAE J684 standards.

The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. On newer model trucks, it is necessary to trim or cut the opening in the plastic air dam attached to the bottom of the bumper. You must consult the vehicle owner before trimming or cutting the plastic air dam. The manual does not specify the exact extent of trimming required for all models.
The 5/8" bolt leader is used to pull the 5/8" carriage bolt into the frame slot. Insert the bolt leader through the slot in the truck frame, attach the carriage bolt to it, and pull the carriage bolt into position. On newer model trucks with a bracket on the outside of the frame, insert the bolt from the opposite direction.
Tighten all 9/16" GR5 fasteners with a torque wrench to 110 Lb.-Ft (149 N-M).
Tighten all 5/8" GR5 fasteners with a torque wrench to 150 Lb.-Ft (203 N-M).
If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
