Call 888-634-9494The maximum trailer weight is 25,000 lbs and the maximum tongue weight is 6,250 lbs. However, all products are limited to your vehicle's tow rating as stated in your vehicle owner's manual. You must not exceed your specific vehicle's towing limits.
Yes, Center Bolt Kit 32059 (provided) must be used when towing with a 26K hitch, gooseneck, or during maneuvering.
No. Do not install mounting rails over plastic bed liners. Plastic bed liners must be cut out of the way. However, base rails may be installed on spray-in liners. If you have a spray-in liner, consult your installer for the recommended curing time before installation.
You will need a 21/32" drill, a 15/16" socket, and a torque wrench.
The kit includes: 1 gooseneck ball platform, 2 carriage bolts (5/8" x 6"), 2 wide flat washers (5/8"), 2 lock washers (5/8"), 2 hex nuts (5/8"), 4 hitch pins, 4 hair pins, and 4 spacer plates.
Lowering or removal of the spare tire will give more room during installation, but it is not explicitly required. This is recommended to make the installation easier.
The estimated installation time is 10–90 minutes.
Yes. Base rails must be installed first, either as directed in the Installation Bracket Kit instruction sheet that applies to your truck, or if base rails are already present, you may proceed to the drilling step. The gooseneck ball platform is mounted on top of the installed base rails.
1. Install base rails (vehicle-specific). 2. Position the base rail kit in the truck bed. 3. Place the gooseneck ball platform on the base rails and secure with hitch pins and hair pins at four locations. 4. Locate the center hole in each base rail and drill a 21/32" diameter hole through the truck bed. 5. Insert the 5/8" carriage bolts through the center holes and drilled holes, place spacer plates correctly, and tighten to 150 ft-lbs torque. 6. Place the gooseneck ball platform back on the base rails and secure with hitch pins and hair pins. 7. Attach safety chains through the slots in the ball platform.
You must drill a 21/32" diameter hole down through the truck bed, using the center holes in the base rails as guides.
Yes. You must drill a 21/32" diameter hole through the truck bed at the center of each base rail. Before drilling, check for obstructions to avoid damaging fuel lines, brake lines, or structural members.
The two 5/8" carriage bolts must be tightened to 150 ft-lbs torque.
All bolts and nuts are Grade 5 unless specified otherwise.
Two spacer plates must be installed on each 5/8" carriage bolt head and oriented in an "X" shape. Check the corrugations in the truck bed floor and place the spacer plates in the correct location: either both under the corrugation, or one above and one below the corrugation, depending on your truck bed configuration. See Illustrations 2 or 2a in the manual for your specific truck bed type.
Place the gooseneck ball platform on the base rails and secure it at four locations using the hitch pins (#6) and hair pins (#7) supplied with the kit. Before tightening the four attachment bolts, check that the securing pins have freedom of movement and adjust the bed rail position as necessary to prevent binding of the pins.
When attaching safety chains, secure the chains through the slots in the ball platform.
If the truck is raised, you must ensure that the truck is properly blocked and restrained to prevent it from falling. Failure to do so may result in the truck suddenly falling, causing death or serious injury.
Before drilling, check for obstructions such as fuel lines, brake lines, or structural members. Failure to check could result in damage to these critical components. The installer is ultimately responsible for preventing installation damage.
Yes. Always measure your truck and trailer before installing the hitch to ensure there is adequate clearance at the cab and at the bumper to allow for turns.
Yes. Never remove any decals from the product. These decals contain important information.
