LUVERNE Grip Step wheel-to-wheel running boards equip your pickup truck for whatever job lies ahead. They offer easier truck bed access, fleet-level safety, a highly rust-free construction and a custom fit for your truck and lifestyle. Grip Step wheel-to-wheel steps are the ideal solution for better truck bed access. Whether you need to reach a truck tool box, ladder rack or some cargo in the truck bed, the wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long, providing a convenient step up for reaching into the truck bed. Grip Step running boards are also built for hard work, featuring expanded metal treads that offer fleet-approved safety. The open treads ensure maximum traction for your boots -- whether rain or shine -- and they also help keep your truck's interior clean by allowing dirt, snow and debris to pass through the boards. For superior resistance to the elements, Grip Step wheel-to-wheel running boards are made from aluminum alloy. They're strong, lightweight and highly corrosion-resistant. To maximize this corrosion resistance, the running boards and brackets are both shielded in a durable black powder coat finish. The running boards also feature hardened plastic end caps that eliminate sharp corners and add a professional touch. All LUVERNE Grip Step wheel-to-wheel steps are designed for vehicle-specific applications. This ensures a custom fit and the easiest possible installation. The running boards mount with vehicle-specific brackets and use pre-existing mounting points to avoid difficult modifications. This particular set of wheel-to-wheel running boards is designed to fit specific years of the Toyota Tundra (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
Grip Step wheel-to-wheel running boards are designed to be the best running boards for work trucks, featuring a unique expanded metal tread pattern for superior traction and a 7" width for reliable footing.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

Yes, the 400757 is designed for 2007 and newer Toyota Tundra pickups. It fits Regular Cab, Double Cab, and Crew Max models. For Regular and Double Cab trucks, it works with both 6.5' and 8.0' bed boxes. For Crew Max, it fits the 5.5' box. Confirm your truck's cab style and bed length before ordering.
The 415114 is a universal grip step board only (no brackets included) that can be cut to fit many applications. The 400757 is a complete GRIP/REGAL 7 Steps system with W2W (wheel-to-wheel) brackets specifically engineered for 2007+ Toyota Tundra trucks. The 400757 includes mounting brackets and is vehicle-specific; the 415114 requires a separate bracket package.
Yes. The 415114 board can be modified from its original length to fit many applications. Use a saber saw, chop saw, or hack saw to cut it to the desired length. After cutting, use flat black paint to touch up the cut ends to prevent corrosion and maintain appearance.
To cut the board, you will need a saber saw, chop saw, or hack saw. For assembly and attachment, you will need a wrench or socket set to tighten the supplied fasteners (carriage bolts, nuts, and self-drilling tek screws). A torque wrench is required to tighten all fasteners to the specified 19 LB FT. Flat black paint is needed to touch up cut ends.
You will need a wrench or socket set to install the M8-1.25 x 25mm hex head cap screws, lock washers, and flat washers on the rocker panel brackets. For the leaf spring mount attachment, you will need to tighten 7/16-14 nuts and 5/16-18 nuts. A torque wrench is required to tighten fasteners to 19 LB FT (rocker panel brackets and outboard bracket connections) and 54 LB-FT (leaf spring mount nuts). Follow the bracket package instructions for any additional tools needed.
The manual does not specify removal of any components. The 400757 brackets attach to existing threaded inserts in the rocker panel interior wall and to the leaf spring mount. Follow the included bracket package instructions for any vehicle-specific preparation steps. Consult the bracket package documentation or the manufacturer if you are unsure about any interference with existing components.
1. Slide the appropriate number of support braces (item #2) into the channel of the step board (item #1). 2. Slide the end cap (item #3) over the front and rear of each step and screw it to the bottom using the supplied #8 x 1/2" self-drilling tek screws (item #8). 3. Set the step on the mounting brackets and slide each support brace over the top of each mounting bracket. 4. Attach the flat spacer plate (item #4) between the support brace and the top of the mounting bracket. 5. Attach the assembly using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" carriage bolts, washers, and flange nuts (items #5, 6, 7). 6. Tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
1. Identify the correct bracket positions using the notches on the inboard edge (#1 notch for bracket #1, etc., with #1 at the front). For Regular Cab trucks, use only brackets #1 and #3. 2. Position the brackets so both holes align with the threaded inserts in the rocker panel interior wall. 3. Attach the top of each bracket with an M8-1.25 x 25mm zinc-plated hex head cap screw, 5/16" flat washer, and lock washer (items #14, #15, #16). 4. Level the brackets and tighten fasteners to 19 LB FT. Repeat on the passenger side.
1. Insert the clipped bolt (item #11) into the inboard bracket (item #5 for driver side, #6 for passenger side) and place a nut (item #12) on a few threads, leaving it loose. 2. Hold the bracket up to the leaf spring mount and place the clipped bolt into the obround hole, finger tight. 3. Insert the top screw (item #13) from behind the frame rail through the leaf spring mount and inboard bracket, and place a nut (item #12) finger tight. 4. Leave both fasteners finger tight until the board is mounted, then tighten both 7/16-14 nuts to 54 LB-FT. 5. Mount the outboard bracket (item #7) to the inboard bracket using 2 screws, washers, and nuts (items #8, #9, #10), leaving them finger tight until the board is mounted, then tighten to 19 LB FT.
For Regular Cab applications, use only brackets #1 (item #1) and #3 (item #3) for the cab mounts. Brackets #2 and #4 are not used on Regular Cab trucks. The W2W brackets (items #5, #6, #7) are still used at the rear leaf spring mount.
All fasteners on the 415114 grip steps must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This includes the 5/16-18 x 1" carriage bolts, washers, and flange nuts that attach the step assembly to the mounting brackets.
Rocker panel bracket fasteners (M8-1.25 x 25mm hex head cap screws): 19 LB FT. Leaf spring mount fasteners (7/16-14 nuts): 54 LB-FT. Outboard bracket fasteners (5/16-18 nuts): 19 LB FT.
The fasteners are M8-1.25 x 25mm zinc-plated hex head cap screws (item #14), paired with 5/16" flat washers (item #16) and lock washers (item #15). These attach the top of the bracket to the threaded inserts in the rocker panel interior wall and are torqued to 19 LB FT.
Two types of fasteners are used: (1) Clipped bolt (item #11, 7/16-14 x 1.00") with flanged hex nut (item #12, 7/16-14) inserted into the obround hole; (2) Hex head screw (item #13, 7/16-14 x 1.00") with flanged hex nut (item #12, 7/16-14) inserted from behind the frame rail. Both 7/16-14 nuts are tightened to 54 LB-FT after the board is mounted.
Two screws (item #8, 5/16 x 1.00" hex head cap screws), washers (item #9, 0.38 x 0.88 x 0.083" steel washers), and nuts (item #10, 5/16"-18 flanged nuts) are used. These fasteners are left finger tight until the board is mounted, then tightened to 19 LB FT.
The leaf spring mount fasteners (clipped bolt and top screw) and outboard bracket fasteners should be left finger tight during initial assembly. Tighten them only after the board is fully mounted. The rocker panel bracket fasteners (M8-1.25 x 25mm hex head cap screws) should be leveled and tightened to 19 LB FT immediately after positioning.
The 415114 package includes: 2 aluminum extrusion step boards (item #1, 551388), 10 galvanized upper support braces (item #2, 551296), 4 black plastic end caps (item #3, 551394), 14 black lower spacer plates (item #4, 551298), 20 stainless steel 5/16-18 x 1.0" carriage bolts (item #5, 108683), 20 stainless steel 5/16" flat washers (item #6, 101369), 20 stainless steel 5/16-18 serrated flanged hex nuts (item #7, 102680), and 8 stainless steel #8-18 x 1/2" black self-drilling tek screws (item #8, 107958). Note: Some flange nuts may be supplied in the bracket package instead of the step package.
The 400757 package includes: 2 each of brackets #1, #2, #3, and #4 (items #1–4, 551985–551988); 1 driver-side inboard rear bracket (item #5, 552123); 1 passenger-side inboard rear bracket (item #6, 552124); 2 rear outboard W2W brackets (item #7, 552125); 4 hex head cap screws 5/16 x 1.00" (item #8, 106997); 4 steel washers 0.38 x 0.88 x 0.083" (item #9, 106998); 4 flanged nuts 5/16"-18 (item #10, 106996); 2 clipped head bolts 7/16-14 x 1.00" (item #11, 104934); 4 flanged hex nuts 7/16-14 (item #12, 103737); 2 hex head screws 7/16-14 x 1.00" (item #13, 103468); 16 M8-1.25 x 25mm zinc-plated hex head cap screws (item #14, 102549); 16 lock washers 5/16" (item #15, 100030); and 16 flat washers 5/16" (item #16, 100034).
Yes. The manual explicitly states to read the instructions completely and check that all required parts listed on the service parts list are on hand before starting the installation. This applies to both the 415114 and 400757 models.
The support braces (item #2) are inserted into the channel of the step board (item #1) before the step is attached to the mounting brackets. They provide structural support and are then slid over the top of each mounting bracket during final assembly to help distribute the load and maintain alignment.
Slide the end cap (item #3) over the front and rear of each step board. Using the supplied #8 x 1/2" self-drilling tek screws (item #8), screw the end cap to the bottom of the step. The self-drilling screws eliminate the need for pre-drilling.
The flat spacer plate (item #4) is attached to the bottom of the step between the support brace and the top of the mounting bracket. It helps maintain proper spacing and alignment between the step assembly and the mounting bracket during final attachment with the carriage bolts, washers, and flange nuts.
