LUVERNE Grip Step wheel-to-wheel running boards equip your pickup truck for whatever job lies ahead. They offer easier truck bed access, fleet-level safety, a highly rust-free construction and a custom fit for your truck and lifestyle. Grip Step wheel-to-wheel steps are the ideal solution for better truck bed access. Whether you need to reach a truck tool box, ladder rack or some cargo in the truck bed, the wheel-to-wheel steps are extra-long, providing a convenient step up for reaching into the truck bed. Grip Step running boards are also built for hard work, featuring expanded metal treads that offer fleet-approved safety. The open treads ensure maximum traction for your boots -- whether rain or shine -- and they also help keep your truck's interior clean by allowing dirt, snow and debris to pass through the boards. For superior resistance to the elements, Grip Step wheel-to-wheel running boards are made from aluminum alloy. They're strong, lightweight and highly corrosion-resistant. To maximize this corrosion resistance, the running boards and brackets are both shielded in a durable black powder coat finish. The running boards also feature hardened plastic end caps that eliminate sharp corners and add a professional touch. All LUVERNE Grip Step wheel-to-wheel steps are designed for vehicle-specific applications. This ensures a custom fit and the easiest possible installation. The running boards mount with vehicle-specific brackets and use pre-existing mounting points to avoid difficult modifications. This particular set of wheel-to-wheel running boards is designed to fit specific years of the Toyota Tundra (see application information to verify fitment; brackets included but shipped separately).
Grip Step wheel-to-wheel running boards are designed to be the best running boards for work trucks, featuring a unique expanded metal tread pattern for superior traction and a 7" width for reliable footing.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The Curt 400757 brackets fit 2007 and newer Toyota Tundra models in the following configurations: Regular Cab with 6.5' or 8.0' bed, Double Cab with 6.5' or 8.0' bed, and Crew Max with 5.5' bed. Verify your cab style and bed length before purchasing.
Yes, the brackets are compatible with Regular Cab Tundras with 6.5' or 8.0' beds. However, Regular Cab applications use only brackets #1 and #3 for the cab mounts; brackets #2 and #4 are not used on this cab style.
The kit includes: 16 M8-1.25×25mm zinc-plated hex head cap screws (item #14), 16 lock washers 5/16" (item #15), 16 flat washers 5/16" (item #16), 2 clipped-head bolts 7/16-14×1.00" (item #11), 4 hex nuts flanged 7/16-14" (item #12), 2 hex head screws 7/16-14×1.00" (item #13), 4 hex head cap screws 5/16"×1.00" (item #8), 4 steel washers 0.38"×0.88"×0.083" (item #9), and 4 flanged nuts 5/16"-18" (item #10).
No drilling is required. The brackets attach to existing mounting holes on the interior wall of the rocker panel and existing threaded inserts in the rocker panel. The W2W brackets attach to the leaf spring mount using existing holes.
Brackets are identified by notches on the inboard edge: 1 notch for bracket #1, 2 notches for bracket #2, and so on. Bracket #1 is positioned at the front of the vehicle. For Regular Cab applications, only brackets #1 and #3 are used for cab mounts.
1. Attach mounting brackets to the vehicle using existing rocker panel holes with M8-1.25×25mm screws, flat washers, and lock washers, tightened to 19 lb-ft. 2. Insert clipped bolts into inboard brackets (left or right side) with nuts finger-tight. 3. Position brackets at leaf spring mount and insert clipped bolts into obround holes, finger-tight. 4. Insert top screws from behind frame rail through leaf spring mount and inboard bracket with nuts, finger-tight. 5. Mount outboard brackets to inboard brackets using screws, washers, and nuts, finger-tight. 6. After the step board is mounted, tighten the 7/16-14 nuts to 54 lb-ft and the outboard bracket fasteners to 19 lb-ft.
Fasteners are left finger-tight during assembly to allow for proper alignment and positioning of all brackets before the step board is mounted. Once the board is mounted and all components are aligned, fasteners are tightened to their final torque specifications.
The M8-1.25×25mm zinc-plated hex head cap screws (item #14) that attach the mounting brackets to the rocker panel should be tightened to 19 lb-ft.
The 7/16-14 flanged nuts (item #12) that secure the clipped bolts and top screws to the leaf spring mount should be tightened to 54 lb-ft after the step board is mounted.
The fasteners (items #8, #9, #10) that mount the outboard bracket to the inboard bracket should be tightened to 19 lb-ft after the step board is mounted.
An obround hole is an elongated or oval-shaped hole. On the Curt 400757 installation, the clipped bolt (item #11) is inserted into the obround hole in the leaf spring mount to allow for adjustment and alignment during assembly.
Insert the clipped bolt (item #11) into the inboard bracket (item #5 for driver's side or #6 for passenger's side) with a nut (item #12) on just a few threads, leaving it loose. Hold the bracket up to the leaf spring mount and place the clipped bolt into the obround hole, finger-tight. Insert the top screw (item #13) from behind the frame rail through the leaf spring mount and inboard bracket, place a nut (item #12) on it, and leave finger-tight until the board is mounted.
Mount the outboard bracket (item #7) to the inboard bracket (item #5 for driver's side or #6 for passenger's side) using two screws (item #8), washers (item #9), and nuts (item #10). Leave these fasteners finger-tight until the step board is mounted, then tighten to 19 lb-ft.
Yes. The manual references a separate step board package that contains instructions for mounting the steps to the brackets. Consult that package for step board installation details.
Yes, if your Tundra is a Regular Cab, Double Cab, or Crew Max with the correct bed length (6.5', 8.0', or 5.5' respectively). Verify your cab style and bed length match the product specifications.
Rocker panel fasteners: 19 lb-ft. Leaf spring mount nuts: 54 lb-ft. Outboard bracket fasteners: 19 lb-ft. All fasteners must be left finger-tight during assembly and tightened only after the step board is mounted.
No. Regular Cab applications use only brackets #1 and #3 for cab mounts. Brackets #2 and #4 are not used on Regular Cab models.
Leave all fasteners finger-tight during assembly. Tighten to final torque specifications only after the step board is mounted and all components are aligned.
