Tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.

Brackets are identified by notches on the inboard edge (#1 notch for bracket #1, etc.), with #1 at the front of the vehicle. Attach the top of each bracket using an M8-1.25 x 25mm zinc-plated hex head cap screw, 5/16" flat washer, and lock washer (items #14, #15, #16). Level the brackets and tighten fasteners to 19 LB FT. 1. Insert the clipped bolt (item #11) into the inboard bracket (item #5 for driver's side, #6 for passenger's side) and place a nut (item #12) on just a few threads, leaving it loose. 2. Hold the bracket up to the leaf spring mount and place the clipped bolt into the obround hole, finger-tight. 3. Insert the top screw (item #13) from behind the frame rail through the leaf spring mount and inboard bracket, place a nut (item #12) and leave finger-tight. 4. Mount the outboard bracket (item #7) to the inboard bracket using 2 screws, washers, and nuts (items #8, #9, #10), leaving these fasteners finger-tight. 5. After the board is mounted, tighten the 7/16-14 nuts to 54 LB-FT and the outboard bracket fasteners to 19 LB-FT.
