Yes, the W2W MEGA/GRIP STEP BRACKETS (Model 571439/401439) fit 2014+ RAM 2500 Pickups including Regular Cab models. However, for Regular Cab pickups only the front and rear cab mounting brackets are used. The center mounting bracket and its fasteners may be discarded.

Note: some flange nuts for the carriage bolts are supplied in the specific bracket package, not the step package.
You can cut the step board to length using a saber saw, chop saw, or hack saw. After cutting, use flat black paint to touch up the cut ends.
Yes. You must read the instructions completely and check that all required parts listed on the service parts list are on hand before starting installation. This applies to both the step board assembly and the bracket package for your specific vehicle.
1. Determine the required board length and cut using a saber saw, chop saw, or hack saw; touch up cut ends with flat black paint. 2. Slide the appropriate number of support braces (part 551296) into the channel of the step board (part 551388). 3. Slide the end cap (part 551394) over the front and rear of each step. 4. Using the supplied #8 x 1/2" self-drilling tek screw (part 107958), screw the end cap to the bottom of the step.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets and slide each support brace over the top of each mounting bracket. 2. Attach the flat spacer plate (part 551298) to the bottom of the step, between the support brace and the top of the mounting bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" carriage bolt (part 108683), washer (part 101369), and flange nut (part 102680), attach the step assembly, flat spacer plate, and mounting bracket. Note: some flange nuts are supplied in the bracket package, not the step package. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
1. Assemble the load reaction studs and hardware per section 2 instructions. 2. Attach the load reaction stud assemblies to the mounting brackets per section 3. 3. On the right side of the vehicle, remove the factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts (one side at a time); these will not be reused. 4. Install the front, center, and rear mounting brackets to the body mounts per section 4 (leave fasteners finger tight). 5. Attach the rear outboard mounting bracket to the rear inboard mounting bracket. 6. Attach the upper mounting bracket to the suspension link housing per section 5. 7. Fasten the lower bracket to the upper bracket. 8. Attach the step plate per the step plate assembly instructions. 9. Position the load reaction stud assembly and tighten the flange nuts to 19 LB FT.
1. Use a 4" stud (part 104686) for the front bracket and a 3" stud (part 104697) for the rear brackets. 2. On the short threaded end, install a 3/8" serrated flange nut (part 100181) backwards to the bottom of the thread. Then install a 3/8" flat washer (part 100062) and rubber cushion washer (part 102592) tight against the serrated flange nut. The end of the stud must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16". 3. On the long threaded end, install a 3/8" serrated flange nut (part 100181) backwards near to the bottom of the threads.
Insert the stud from the inboard or frame side through the lowest hole in the bent flange of the bracket that will allow the rubber washer to seat firmly against the side wall of the frame. Install a flange nut (part 100181) on the outboard end of the stud finger tight only at this stage. The final tightening to 19 LB FT occurs after positioning the load reaction stud assembly so the rubber cushion is snug against the frame side.
Use an M12 – 110MM bolt (part 103444) and a 2.0" washer (part 105909) to install the front mounting bracket (part 552850 or 552851 for left/right, or part 552862 or 552863 for GRIP version) to the front body mount. Leave these fasteners finger tight initially.

Use an M12 – 116MM bolt (part 109451) and a ½" flat washer (part 100118) to install the rear mounting bracket (part 552854 or 552855 for left/right inboard, or part 552856 or 552857 for outboard) to the rear body mount. Leave these fasteners finger tight initially. The orientation of the rear bracket differs between Regular/Quad/Crew Cab and Mega Cab pickups; refer to Figure 1 or Figure 2 respectively.
Attach the rear outboard mounting bracket (part 552856 or 552857 for MS version, or part 552868 or 552869 for GRIP version) to the rear inboard mounting bracket (part 552854 or 552855) in the upper mounting location using three 3/8-16 x 1.0" screws (part 100040), 3/8" flat washers (part 100062), and 3/8" flange nuts (part 100181).
Loosen the bolt that fastens the suspension links to the vehicle. Slide the upper mounting bracket (part 552457 or 552458 for MS version, or part 552411 or 552412 for GRIP version) between the bolt head and the frame bracket. Tighten down the bolt, making sure that the upper mounting bracket is level.
Fasten the lower bracket (part 551721 for MS version or part 552125 for GRIP version) to the upper bracket (part 552457 or 552458 for MS version, or part 552411 or 552412 for GRIP version) using 3/8 bolt, washer, and nut (part 100040, 100062, 100181) in the two lower holes of the upper bracket. Make sure it sits level to the front brackets.
All fasteners attaching the step assembly to the mounting brackets must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This applies to the 5/16-18 x 1" carriage bolts (part 108683) used to attach the step board to the brackets.
The 3/8" flange nuts (part 100181) on either side of the load reaction stud assembly must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This is done after positioning the load reaction stud assembly so that the rubber cushion is snug against the side of the frame.
Use a 4" stud (part 104686, double-ended, 3/8-16 x 4.00") for the front bracket and a 3" stud (part 104697, 3/8-16 x 3.00") for the rear brackets.
The end of the stud must be recessed in the rubber cushion washer (part 102592) approximately 3/16 inch. This is achieved by installing the rubber washer tight against the serrated flange nut on the short threaded end of the stud.
No. The factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts on the RAM 2500 will not be reused. You must remove these bolts (one side of the vehicle at a time) and replace them with the new mounting hardware supplied in the bracket package.
Model 415114 GRIP STEPS are universal boards that work with specific bracket packages. For 2014+ RAM 2500 Pickups, use the Model 571439/401439 W2W MEGA/GRIP STEP BRACKETS. For other vehicles, follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package.

After sliding the upper mounting bracket between the bolt head and the frame bracket at the suspension link housing, tighten the bolt while ensuring the upper mounting bracket is level. If it is not level, loosen the bolt, reposition the bracket, and retighten.
After fastening the lower bracket to the upper bracket using the two lower holes, verify that it sits level to the front brackets. If it is not level, loosen the fasteners, reposition the lower bracket, and retighten to ensure proper alignment.
