LUVERNE Grip Step 7" running boards for vans are the ideal work van accessories, adding safe, dependable footing to your cargo van with a vehicle-specific fit. Grip Step van steps are equipped with high-traction treads for fleet-approved safety, and they are made from powder-coated aluminum to be lightweight and provide long-lasting resistance to the elements. All Grip Step running boards are engineered for vehicle-specific installation. These van steps offer a custom fit for certain years and styles of the Ford E150, E150 Econoline, E250, E250 Econoline and E350 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment with your cargo van). They come with two longer steps, one for the driver-side door and one for the passenger-side door. They also come with powder-coated steel brackets and stainless steel hardware for a complete install. Grip Step running boards for vans are optimized for delivery trucks, construction vehicles and other commercial vans. They feature a 7" width, covered with expanded metal treads to grip the bottom of your boots for safe entry and exit every time. The metal treads are also highly resistant to wear, and they help keep the steps clean with their open, through-hole design. The aluminum construction of LUVERNE Grip Step running boards makes them strong for a rigid step, but lightweight for optimized fuel efficiency. Aluminum is also highly corrosion-resistant. To maximize corrosion resistance, Grip Step van steps are shielded in a textured black powder coat finish. This gives them an impervious layer of protection against the elements and resists chipping and UV damage. The black running boards also complement the look and style of your cargo van, adding a professional finishing touch. To complete the look, we also offer rear Grip Step van steps, providing safe, convenient access to the rear cargo area.
Grip Step van running boards are designed to be the best running boards for work vans and cargo vans, featuring a unique expanded metal tread pattern for superior traction and a 7" width for reliable footing.

LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.
LUVERNE has been manufacturing automotive accessories in the United States since 1963, and six decades of continuous production have made it a nationally recognised name in the truck accessory market. Now a Lippert brand, it concentrates on a defined set of products rather than spreading across the whole aftermarket: front-end protection, step access and spray protection for pickup trucks, commercial vans and sport utility vehicles.
Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.
Rounding out the line, LUVERNE mud guards and mud flaps shield rocker panels, paint and following vehicles from stones and road spray, in widths matched to the tyre and fender they sit behind. Material choice runs through everything the brand does: stainless steel where appearance and corrosion resistance matter most, aluminium where weight is the priority, and mild steel with protective coating where strength and value lead. Customers include contractors, fleet operators, van upfitters and truck owners.

The GRIP STEPS model 415114 is a universal step board assembly made of aluminum extrusion (part 551388, 113.62" long). It can be cut to custom lengths using a saber saw, chop saw, or hack saw to fit various vehicle applications. The board includes support braces, end caps, and fasteners for mounting to vehicle brackets.
The MEGA STEPS model 570125 is a step assembly designed specifically for 2001 and newer Ford vans. It is a 98.00" step assembly (part 575098) that mounts to the vehicle's quarter panel and pinch weld using multiple brackets, U-nuts, bolts, and screws.
The GRIP STEPS model 415114 is listed as a universal application, meaning it can be adapted to fit many vehicles. However, you must follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package for your vehicle, as the brackets are vehicle-specific. The step board itself can be cut to the required length for your application.
The MEGA STEPS model 570125 is designed for 2001 and newer Ford vans only. It is not compatible with other vehicle makes or model years.
To install the GRIP STEPS model 415114, you will need: a saber saw, chop saw, or hack saw to cut the board to length; flat black paint to touch up the cut ends; and standard hand tools to install fasteners (screwdriver for self-drilling tek screws and wrench or socket for carriage bolts and nuts). The specific bracket package may require additional tools.
To install the MEGA STEPS model 570125, you will need: a drill with bits for Ø11/32" and Ø17/64" holes; wrenches or sockets for 5/16-18 hex bolts and nuts; and a torque wrench calibrated to 19 foot pounds. A clamp may be helpful to hold brackets in position while drilling.
Most fasteners are included with the GRIP STEPS model 415114: #8 x 1/2" self-drilling tek screws (item #8), 5/16-18 x 1" carriage bolts (item #5), washers (item #6), and flange nuts (item #7). However, the manual notes that some flange nuts are supplied in the specific bracket package, not the step package, so verify all fasteners are present before starting installation.
Yes, all fasteners are included with the MEGA STEPS model 570125: 5/16-18 x 1" hex bolts (item #8), 5/16-18 x 1" square head screws (item #9), 5/16 x 1" washer head screws (item #10), 5/16-18 multi-thread U-nuts (items #11 and #12), serrated flange nuts (items #13 and #14), flat washers (item #15), and lock washers (item #16). Verify all parts are present before starting installation.
Before installing the GRIP STEPS model 415114, read the complete instructions and verify that all required parts listed in the service parts list are on hand. Determine the required length for your application and prepare to cut the board. Follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package to understand how the brackets mount to your vehicle.
Before installing the MEGA STEPS model 570125, read the complete instructions and verify that all required parts are on hand. On the passenger side of the vehicle, remove the tape covering the mounting holes in the inside quarter panel (five locations). This exposes the holes where U-nuts will be installed.
Determine the required length for your application, then cut the aluminum extrusion board using a saber saw, chop saw, or hack saw. After cutting, use flat black paint to touch up the cut ends to prevent corrosion and maintain appearance.

The MEGA STEPS model 570125 requires finger-tightening in stages to allow for proper alignment and positioning. The step must be centered front to rear on the vehicle, and the mounting bracket flanges must be aligned flush with the pinch weld before final torque. Finger-tightening allows adjustment without fully securing the fasteners.
Yes, drilling is required. You must drill two sizes of holes: Ø11/32" holes through the center of the pinch weld (using the bracket holes as a guide), and Ø17/64" holes through the inside body panel (using the top bracket holes as a guide). These holes are necessary to mount the rear brackets to the vehicle.
Yes, the GRIP STEPS model 415114 can be modified from its original length to fit many applications. Cut the aluminum extrusion board to the required length using a saber saw, chop saw, or hack saw. After cutting, touch up the cut ends with flat black paint.
