LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. The O-MEGA II package includes two extrusion assemblies (available in silver or black, in lengths of 95.0", 99.0", 105.0", 111.0", or 122.0"), step pads, end caps, square head bolts, serrated flange nuts, and TEK screws. The specific extrusion length depends on your vehicle model. All fasteners and hardware needed for installation are included.
The 570717 W2W MEGA STEP BRACKETS are designed for 2007 and newer GM crew cab pickups and extended cabs only. If you have a different vehicle type or model year, you will need a different bracket package. Consult the specific bracket package instructions for your vehicle.
Step pad location depends on your cab style. For Silverado/Sierra Double Cab, position Pad A at 14-3/4" and Pad B at 46-3/4". For Extended Cab, use 14-3/4" and 41-3/4". For Crew Cab, use 14-3/4" and 54-1/4". These are suggestions only and may be adjusted at your discretion.
For Ford F-150 Super Cab, position Pad A at 18-1/4" and Pad B at 46-1/4". For Super Crew Cab, use 18-1/4" and 56-1/2". These are suggestions only and may be adjusted at your discretion.
For Ram Quad Cab, position Pad A at 10-1/2" and Pad B at 46". For Ram Crew Cab, use 10-1/2" and 48". For Ram Mega Cab, use 10-1/2" and 52-1/16". These are suggestions only and may be adjusted at your discretion.

Step pads are attached using five 8-18 X 1/2" TEK screws (Item #6, stainless steel, bright zinc plated). These screws are provided in the package. You will drill five 1/8" holes using the step pad as a guide, then attach the pads with these screws.
The O-MEGA II steps are attached to the mounting brackets using square head bolts (Item #4) inserted into the slots on the bottom of the step plates, and 5/16" serrated flange nuts (Item #5). The fasteners are tightened to 19 lb ft.
End caps (Item #3) are installed on the O-MEGA II steps and the nuts are tightened to 5 lb ft. The specific fastener type is not detailed in the instructions, but the torque specification is 5 lb ft.

Yes, drilling is required. You must drill five 1/8" holes in the step plate using the step pad as a guide. The step pad is then attached with five 8-18 X 1/2" TEK screws provided in the package. This process is repeated for all step pads.
Before attaching the step pads to the step plates, use the Step Pad Location Guide on Sheet #2 to position the pads for your particular vehicle. Note that due to the shortness of some boxes, the box step pad should be mounted first, approximately 1/2" from the end cap, and then the middle step pad mounted accordingly. The pad locations in the guide are suggestions and may be adjusted at your discretion.
Insert a nylon washer (Item #8) between the top of the mounting bracket and the bottom of the rocker panel. Install the screw (Item #2) and washer (Item #4), nut, and pinch weld support bracket (Items #5 and #14). Tighten to 19 lb ft. This is done on each mounting bracket.
Loosen the spring hanger bolt just enough to slide the inboard spring hanger mounting bracket (Item #13) up behind the flange of the bolt. Position it with the channel open to the outboard side. Install the outboard spring hanger mounting bracket (Item #12) so its inboard vertical portion fits inside the channel of the inboard bracket. Use a 3/8" zinc plated bolt (Item #17), washers (Items #9-#11), and 3/8" zinc plated nylock nut. Leave fasteners finger tight initially.
