LUVERNE has manufactured truck accessories in the United States since 1963, specialising in grille guards, running boards, side steps and mud guards for pickups, commercial vans and SUVs. Products are built primarily from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, with model-specific mounting kits that use existing frame locations for a bolt-on installation.

The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.

The O-MEGA II 6" Oval Steps are vehicle running boards manufactured by Curt Manufacturing. They provide a step surface to help occupants enter and exit the vehicle. The steps consist of aluminum extrusions available in silver or black finish, with step pads, end caps, and mounting hardware. They are designed for universal application across multiple truck and van models.
The O-MEGA II steps are designed for universal application. Specific pad location guidance is provided for Chevrolet Silverado/Sierra (Double Cab, Extended Cab, Crew Cab), GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Express Van, GMC Savana Van, RAM Quad Cab, RAM Crew Cab, RAM Mega Cab, Ford F150 (Super Cab, Super Crew Cab), and Ford Super Duty (Super Cab, Crew Cab). Installation requires a vehicle-specific bracket package, which must be ordered separately and includes its own installation instructions.
Each kit includes: 2 aluminum extrusions (available in silver or black, in lengths of 95.0", 99.0", 105.0", 111.0", or 122.0"), 6 aluminum step pads, 4 plastic end caps, 28 square head bolts (5/16-18 x 1"), 28 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18), and 30 tek screws (#8-18 x 1/2"). You must also obtain the vehicle-specific bracket package separately, which includes its own hardware and installation instructions.
Yes. The O-MEGA II steps require a vehicle-specific bracket package to mount to your vehicle. The bracket package is not included with the steps and must be ordered separately. Installation instructions for the bracket package are provided with that package.
Read the complete installation instructions and verify that all required parts listed in the Service Parts List are on hand before beginning. Also obtain and review the installation instructions for your vehicle-specific bracket package, as you will need to follow those instructions to mount the brackets to your vehicle before attaching the steps.
1. Attach step pads to the step plates by drilling holes and fastening with tek screws. 2. Install square head bolts into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. 3. Install end caps and tighten nuts to 5 lb ft. 4. Position the assembled step on the mounting brackets, ensuring square head screws are located in the bracket slots and the step is centered front to rear. 5. Install serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.
Yes. You must drill five 1/8" holes through the step plates using the step pad as a guide. The step pad is then attached to the step plate using five #8-18 x 1/2" tek screws provided in the kit.
Use the Step Pad Location Guide on sheet 2 for your specific vehicle model. The guide provides measurements for Pad A and Pad B positions. However, due to the shortness of some boxes, mount the box step pad first approximately ½" from the end cap, then mount the middle step pad accordingly. The pad locations in the guide are suggestions and may be placed at the purchaser's discretion.
Tighten the end cap nuts to 5 lb ft.
Install 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.
The square head bolts are 5/16-18 x 1" and are installed into the designated slots in the bottom of the step plates. They are secured with 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts.
The tek screws are #8-18 x 1/2" stainless steel, bright zinc plated. Five screws are used per step pad, fastened through 1/8" holes drilled in the step plate.
Position the step so that the square head screws are located in the slots of the mounting brackets and the step is centered front to rear on the vehicle. Then install the 5/16" serrated flange nuts on the square head screws and tighten to 19 lb ft.
The O-MEGA II steps are available in silver or black aluminum finish. The extrusions are manufactured in both colors, and the step pads are black aluminum.
