This, combined with the classic styling of popular nerf bars, allows Regal 7 oval side steps to easily live up to their name. Each is set with full-width step pads that offer a non-skid surface for ultimate comfort and safety. They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe side steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval side steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Chevy Silverado 1500, 2500 HD or 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 1500, 2500 HD or 3500 HD (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

The REGAL 7 Oval Steps with model 401443 brackets are designed for 2014 GM Silverado and Sierra Double/Crew Cab Pickups, and 2015 GM Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche, Yukon, and Yukon XL. If your vehicle is not listed, these steps are not compatible. Verify your vehicle year, model, cab style, and body type before purchasing.
The three models differ in length. Model 477078 is 76 inches, model 477088 is 86 inches, and model 477098 is 96 inches. Model 477078 and 477088 come as left and right pairs (part numbers 552059 and 552060 respectively). Model 477098 requires separate left (part number 552061) and right (part number 552062) steps. Measure your vehicle to determine which length is appropriate.
The step assembly includes: 16 black stainless steel hex bolts (5/16-18 x 1 inch, part number 106997), 16 flat washers (5/16 inch, part number 106998), and 16 serrated flange nuts (5/16-18, part number 102680). Additionally, 8 support mounting plates (part number 552052) are included. The bracket package includes U-nuts, M8 screws, washers, and flange nuts as detailed in the bracket service parts list.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1 inch black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, #11, and #12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position. 5. Tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
Yes, the steps are pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly. You do not need to assemble the steps themselves; you only need to attach them to the mounting brackets.
Yes. The manual states to follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package to mount the brackets to your vehicle first. The step assembly is then attached to the already-installed mounting brackets. Do not attempt to attach the steps without first installing the brackets.
All 5/16 inch fasteners must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This applies to both the fasteners attaching the step to the mounting brackets and the fasteners attaching the brackets to the vehicle.
Some vehicles have threaded inserts in the rocker panels and will not require U-nut installation. If your vehicle has threaded inserts, use a black M8 x 30 mm screw (item #3) in place of the 5/16-18 x 1.0 screw. Check your vehicle's rocker panels before installation to determine whether U-nuts or threaded inserts are present.
Insert the 5/16 inch multi-thread U-nut (item #7) into the upper holes in the rocker panel. This is only required if your vehicle does not have threaded inserts. Some vehicles will have threaded inserts in the rocker panels and will not require U-nut installation.
The pinch weld support bracket (item #8) is installed on each mounting bracket to provide additional support at the vehicle's pinch weld. Install the black M8-1.25 screw (item #3) and washer (item #4) through the pinch weld support bracket and place it above the pinch weld as shown in the instructions. Install the M8 flange nut (item #6) unless the vehicle has a threaded insert. Tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
Yes. When attaching the top of the brackets to the vehicle, hand tighten the 5/16-18 x 1.0 screw and flat washer (items #5 and #4) first. After all fasteners are hand tightened and the step plate is set in the correct position, tighten all fasteners to the final torque specification of 19 LB FT.
