They are the largest oval steps on the market, featuring a patented design, non-skid step pads and a nerf bar styling. Built on the idea that a deluxe ride needs a deluxe entrance, these 7" ovals have a width comparable to some of the largest running boards available. This, combined with the classic styling of popular nerf bars, allows Regal 7 oval steps to easily live up to their name. Each is set with full-width step pads that offer a non-skid surface for ultimate comfort and safety. They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, 1500 Classic, 2500, 2500 HD, 2500 HD Classic, 3500, 3500 HD or 3500 Classic (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

The Regal 7 Oval Steps are listed as universal applications, meaning they are designed to work with various vehicles when paired with the appropriate mounting brackets. However, you must use the correct bracket package for your specific vehicle. The steps themselves are pre-assembled from the factory and come in three lengths: 76 inches (model 477078), 86 inches (model 477088), and 96 inches (model 477098). Always follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package to ensure proper fitment.
The Model 401113 step brackets are designed for 1999 GM Silverado and Sierra Extended and Crew Cab pickups. If you have a 1500 model pickup, you must attach bracket item #14 (90-degree, 3-hole bracket) to brackets items #1 and #2 in order to use the load reaction stud assembly.
The step assembly includes 5/16-18 x 1 inch black stainless steel hex bolts, flat washers, and serrated flange nuts (items #10, #11, and #12). These fasteners are used to attach the step assembly to the support mounting plates and mounting brackets. The service parts list also includes end caps, step pads, carriage bolts, and nylock nuts that are part of the complete step assembly.
The bracket package includes: six double-ended load reaction studs (3/8-16 x 4.50 inch, item #11), six rubber cushion washers (item #8), twelve 3/8-inch flat washers (item #9), twenty-four 3/8-inch serrated flange nuts (item #10), six 3/8-16 x 1.00 inch bolts (item #12), two flat washers for the rear mount (item #13), and two 90-degree 3-hole brackets (item #14) for 1500 models. The bracket set also includes mounting brackets for front, center, and rear cab mounts.
Yes, the Regal 7 Oval Steps are pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly. You do not need to assemble the steps themselves; you only need to attach them to the mounting brackets using the supplied fasteners.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1 inch black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, #11, and #12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners. Torque all 5/16 inch fasteners to 19 LB FT.
1. On the short threaded end of the load reaction stud (item #11), install a black 3/8-inch serrated flange nut (item #10) backwards to the bottom of the thread. 2. Install a black 3/8-inch flat washer (item #9) and rubber cushion washer (item #8) tight against the serrated flange nut. The end of the stud must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16 inch. 3. On the long threaded end of the stud, install a black 3/8-inch serrated flange nut (item #10) backwards to near the bottom of the threads.
1. Remove the factory front, center, and rear body mount bolts one side of the vehicle at a time. 2. Install the front mounting brackets (items #1 and #2) to the front cab mount and leave fasteners finger tight. 3. Install the center mounting brackets (items #3 and #4) to the center cab mount and leave fasteners finger tight. 4. Install the rear inboard mounting bracket (item #7) and washer (item #13) to the rear cab mount and leave fasteners finger tight. 5. For Extended Cab only: attach the rear outboard brackets (items #5 and #6) to the rear inboard bracket using 3/8-inch bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts, torqued to 19 LB FT. For Crew Cab only: attach the rear outboard brackets using different holes as specified. 6. Tighten all body mount bolts per manufacturer specifications.
For Extended Cab (step 4.3.1): attach the rear outboard brackets to the rear inboard bracket using the bottom single hole and bottom double holes. For Crew Cab (step 4.3.2): attach the rear outboard brackets using the bottom single hole and top double holes. In both cases, put the bolts through the front side of the bracket so the flange nuts are on the back side to allow clearance for the truck frame. Both configurations are torqued to 19 LB FT.
Yes. If you are mounting the steps on a 1500 model pickup, you must attach bracket item #14 (90-degree, 3-hole bracket) to brackets items #1 and #2 in order to use the load reaction stud. This bracket is included in the package but is only required for 1500 models.
All 5/16-inch fasteners on the Regal 7 Oval Steps must be torqued to 19 LB FT.

Due to excessive thread locker in the body mount bolt area on 2010+ GM Silverado/Sierra, use caution when removing the body mount bolts to reduce the risk of causing damage to the threaded inserts inside the vehicle. Take your time and apply steady pressure to avoid stripping or damaging the threads.
The end of the load reaction stud must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16 inch. This recess ensures proper seating of the rubber cushion washer against the serrated flange nut and allows the rubber washer to seat firmly against the side wall of the frame when the stud is inserted through the bracket.
During the Model 401113 bracket installation, leave the front, center, and rear mounting bracket fasteners finger tight initially. Only tighten the 3/8-inch bolts connecting the rear outboard brackets to the rear inboard brackets to 19 LB FT. After the step assembly is attached, tighten all body mount bolts per the manufacturer's specifications. For the Regal 7 Oval Steps, set the step plate in the correct position and then tighten all fasteners to the specified torque.
The rear outboard mounting brackets (items #5 and #6) must be mounted to the back side of the rear inboard mounting bracket (item #7), towards the rear of the vehicle. Put the bolts through the front side of the bracket so the flange nuts are on the back side to allow clearance for the frame of the truck.
