This, combined with the classic styling of popular nerf bars, allows Regal 7 oval side steps to easily live up to their name. Each is set with full-width step pads that offer a non-skid surface for ultimate comfort and safety. They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe side steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval side steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F150 (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.

The REGAL 7 OVAL STEPS are pre-assembled step boards supplied as boards only; you must purchase and install mounting brackets separately. Model 477054 is 52" long, and model 477060 is 58" long. Both are universal applications and come with the same fastening hardware. The step assembly includes end caps, step pads, and all necessary bolts and nuts for attachment to brackets.
No. The 401521 GRIP STEP BRACKET is designed specifically for 2015 and newer Ford F150 Regular Cab Pickups with rocker panel mounting. It is not compatible with other cab styles (SuperCab, SuperCrew) or earlier model years. The installation uses factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel, so your vehicle must have these studs present.
No. The 401521 is a no-drill application. Installation uses factory-provided studs already present on the inside of the rocker panel. No holes need to be drilled in the vehicle.
The REGAL 7 includes: 8 carriage bolts 10-24 x 0.50" stainless steel black, 12 carriage bolts 10-24 x 1.0" stainless steel black, 12 nylock nuts 10-24 stainless steel, 12 hex head screws 5/16-18 x 1.0" stainless steel black, 12 flat washers 5/16" stainless steel black, and 12 serrated flange nuts 5/16-18 stainless steel. Additionally, 2 end caps (black plastic), 2 step pads (25" x 6.5" black plastic), and 6 support mounting plates (11 gauge galvanized) are included.
The 401521 kit includes 4 mounting brackets (part 552845), 8 nylon isolator washers 0.36" x 1.5" x 0.032" black (part 108442), and 8 M8-1.25 flange nuts zinc-plated (part 105859). The step board assembly is ordered separately and comes with its own fastening hardware.
Yes. The REGAL 7 OVAL STEPS (477054 or 477060) are boards only and do not include mounting brackets. You must purchase and install the appropriate bracket package for your vehicle separately, then follow the bracket manufacturer's instructions to mount the brackets to your vehicle before attaching the step boards.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, #11, #12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket together. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT torque.
1. On the left side of the vehicle, install two 1.5" nylon isolator washers (item #3), the step mounting bracket (item #2), and two M8-1.25 flange nuts (item #4) on the factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel. 2. Repeat for the remaining brackets. 3. Check that all brackets are level. 4. Tighten all flange nuts. 5. Repeat steps 1–4 for the right side of the vehicle. After brackets are installed, refer to the instruction sheet included with your step board assembly to mount the step to the brackets.
All 5/16" fasteners (5/16-18 x 1" hex bolts with washers and serrated flange nuts) must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
Yes. The REGAL 7 OVAL STEP is pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside driver's side step assembly. You do not need to assemble the step board itself; you only need to attach it to the mounting brackets using the supplied fasteners.
The 401521 GRIP STEP BRACKET fits 2015 and newer Ford F150 Regular Cab Pickups only. It will not fit SuperCab, SuperCrew, or earlier model years. Your vehicle must have factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel.
