Each is set with full-width step pads that offer a non-skid surface for ultimate comfort and safety. They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe side steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval side steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F150, F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty, F450 Super Duty, F550 Super Duty and F600 Super Duty (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

Model 401521 and 401721 are specific bracket variants; refer to your vehicle documentation or the bracket package instructions to confirm which model applies to your vehicle.
The REGAL 7 Oval Steps are listed as universal applications. However, they must be attached to mounting brackets that are vehicle-specific. The steps themselves are pre-assembled and come in two lengths: 52" (Model 477054) and 58" (Model 477060). You must follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package to mount the brackets to your vehicle before attaching the step boards.
Each step is attached using 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts, flat washers, and serrated flange nuts (items #10, #11, and #12). A total of 12 of each fastener type are included in the service parts list. These fasteners pass through support mounting plates (item #9) that slide inside the oval step above each bracket.
The GRIP STEP Brackets attach to factory-provided studs on the rocker panel using two 1.5" nylon isolator washers (item #3) and two M8-1.25 flange nuts (item #4) per bracket. A total of 8 washers and 8 flange nuts are included. No drilling is required; the brackets use existing factory studs.
Yes. The step boards must be attached to mounting brackets. You must first follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package to mount the brackets to your vehicle. Only after the brackets are installed and level should you attach the step boards to them.

1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Insert the 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, #11, and #12) through the support mounting plate, step, and bracket. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 lb-ft torque.
1. On the left side of the vehicle, place two 1.5" nylon isolator washers (item #3) and the step mounting bracket (item #2) on the factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel. 2. Secure with two M8-1.25 flange nuts (item #4). 3. Repeat for the remaining brackets. 4. Check that all brackets are level. 5. Tighten all flange nuts. 6. Repeat the process for the right side of the vehicle.
