This, combined with the classic styling of popular nerf bars, allows Regal 7 oval side steps to easily live up to their name. Each is set with full-width step pads that offer a non-skid surface for ultimate comfort and safety. They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe side steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval side steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F150 (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.

The REGAL 7 Oval Steps (models 477054 and 477060) come pre-assembled from the factory. The package includes the step assembly with end caps, step pads, mounting hardware (carriage bolts, nylock nuts, hex head screws, flat washers, and serrated flange nuts), and support mounting plates. The serial number label is located on the front inside driver's side step assembly. All fasteners are stainless steel or black stainless steel.
The model 400921 step brackets are designed for 2004 and newer Ford F-150 Regular Cab Pickups only. If you have a different cab style (SuperCab or SuperCrew) or an older F-150, these brackets will not fit. Verify your truck's year and cab configuration before purchasing.
Two sizes are available: model 477054 with 52" steps and model 477060 with 58" steps. Both are universal applications and can be used with compatible bracket packages. Choose the size that matches your vehicle's wheelbase and your preference for step length.
The steps attach to the mounting brackets using 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts (part #106997), 5/16" stainless steel flat washers (part #106998), and 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts (part #102680). Three fasteners are used per bracket location. All fasteners must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
Yes. The step assembly instructions direct you to follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package to mount the brackets to your vehicle. The bracket instructions are separate from the step assembly instructions. Obtain and review the bracket package instructions before beginning installation.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (part #552052) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut, attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket together. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
Install 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts (part #104264) in the top front hole of the front mounting pattern and in the top rear hole of the rear mounting pattern. Insert the threaded half of the U-nut through the large access holes in the rocker panel and slide it towards the round hole until it seats. The threads must face to the inside of the rocker panel.
Position the mounting brackets (part #551851) on the vehicle so the top hole lines up with the installed U-nut and the offset hole lines up with the pinch weld hole. Attach the top of the bracket with a 5/16" x 1.00" zinc-plated hex head cap screw (part #100647) and 5/16" zinc-plated flat washer (part #100034). Attach the bottom to the pinch weld with a 5/16" x 1.00" black-plated hex head cap screw (part #106997), 5/16" black-plated flat washer (part #106998), and 5/16" serrated flange nut (part #102680). Level the brackets and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
All 5/16" fasteners must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This applies to both the fasteners attaching the steps to the mounting brackets and the fasteners attaching the brackets to the vehicle.
