Each is set with full-width step pads that offer a non-skid surface for ultimate comfort and safety. They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe side steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval side steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F150 (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

The Regal 7 Oval Steps are pre-assembled step boards available in three lengths: 76 inches (model 477078), 86 inches (model 477088), and 96 inches (model 477098). They come as left and right assemblies and are designed for universal applications. Each step includes end caps, step pads, and all fasteners needed to attach to mounting brackets.
The Grip Step Bracket model 401523 is designed for 2015 and newer Ford F150 Supercab and Supercrew pickups. It is a no-drill application that uses factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel.
The Regal 7 Oval Steps include: 5/16-18 x 1 inch black stainless steel hex bolts, flat washers, and serrated flange nuts for attaching the step to the mounting brackets. The service parts list also includes 10-24 carriage bolts, nylock nuts, and hardware for end caps and step pads, but the primary fasteners for bracket attachment are the 5/16-18 bolts.

Yes. The step is pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly. You do not need to assemble the step itself; you only need to attach it to the mounting brackets.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item 9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1 inch black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items 10, 11, and 12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 lb-ft.
1. Install two 1.5 inch isolator washers, the step mounting bracket, and two M8-1.25 flange nuts over the factory studs on the inside of the rocker panel on the left side. 2. Repeat for the rear bracket on the left side. 3. Check that front and rear brackets are level and tighten all flange nuts. 4. Remove the center body mount bolt and install the center inboard mounting bracket. 5. Attach the outboard bracket to the inboard bracket using three 3/8-16 x 1 inch hex bolts, three 3/8 inch flat washers, and three 3/8-16 flange nuts; adjust height to match your step board. 6. Assemble the load reaction studs with their hardware. 7. Check that the center bracket is perpendicular to the vehicle body and tighten the body mount bolt per manufacturer specifications. 8. Install the load reaction stud into the center inboard bracket and adjust the inboard nut so the rubber cushion washer is snug against the frame. Install a 3/8-16 flange nut on the outboard side and tighten to 19 lb-ft. 9. Repeat steps 2–9 for the right side.
1. On the short threaded end of the load reaction stud (item 9), install a 3/8-16 flange nut backwards onto the bottom of the thread. Then install a 3/8 inch flat washer and rubber cushion washer tight up against the flange nut. The end of the stud must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16 inch. 2. On the long threaded end of the stud, install a 3/8-16 flange nut backwards to near the bottom of the threads.
All 5/16-18 fasteners on the Regal 7 Oval Steps must be torqued to 19 lb-ft.
The 3/8-16 flange nut on the outboard side of the load reaction stud must be tightened to 19 lb-ft.
When assembling the load reaction stud, after installing the 3/8-16 flange nut backwards on the short threaded end, you then install a 3/8 inch flat washer and rubber cushion washer tight against the flange nut. The short end of the stud should not protrude beyond the rubber washer; it should be recessed (set back) into the rubber washer by approximately 3/16 inch. This ensures proper cushioning and load distribution.
After attaching the outboard bracket to the inboard bracket using the three 3/8-16 x 1 inch hex bolts, three 3/8 inch flat washers, and three 3/8-16 flange nuts, adjust the height to match your step board before tightening the bolts.
The 1.5 inch nylon isolator washers (item 3) are installed over the factory studs on the rocker panel before the step mounting bracket and flange nuts. They provide isolation between the bracket and the vehicle body.
Yes. Step 5 requires you to remove the center body mount bolt and install the center inboard mounting bracket (item 10) in its place. After assembly is complete, you reinstall and tighten the body mount bolt per the manufacturer's specifications.
After installing the load reaction stud into the center inboard bracket and adjusting the inboard nut so the rubber cushion washer is snug against the frame, check that the center bracket is perpendicular to the body of the vehicle before tightening the body mount bolt per the manufacturer's specifications.
After installation, verify that: 1) the front and rear brackets are level (step 4), 2) the center bracket is perpendicular to the vehicle body (step 8), and 3) all fasteners are tightened to specification. The load reaction stud's rubber cushion washer should be snug against the frame of the vehicle.
After installation, set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners. Ensure all 5/16-18 fasteners are torqued to 19 lb-ft.
