This, combined with the classic styling of popular nerf bars, allows Regal 7 oval side steps to easily live up to their name. Each is set with full-width step pads that offer a non-skid surface for ultimate comfort and safety. They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe side steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval side steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty, F450 Super Duty and F550 Super Duty (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.

These are REGAL 7 Oval Steps that differ by length. Model 477078 is 76 inches, model 477088 is 86 inches, and model 477098 is 96 inches. All are universal applications and use the same mounting hardware and installation method.
The bracket package includes: 8 × 5/16-18 UNC × 1.00" hex head cap screws (zinc plated), 8 × 5/16" zinc plated flat washers, 8 × 5/16" serrated flange nuts, 8 × 5/16-18 UNC × 1.00" black plated hex head cap screws, 8 × 5/16" black plated flat washers, and 8 × 5/16-18 UNC multi-thread U-nuts.
Yes. You must install 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts in the rocker panel before attaching the brackets. Install U-nuts in the top rear hole of the first, second, and third patterns and in the front top hole of the fifth (rear) pattern. Insert the threaded half through the large access holes and slide toward the round hole until it seats. Threads must face inside the rocker panel.
Position the brackets so the top hole aligns with the U-nut and the bottom hole aligns with the pinch weld hole. Attach the top with a 5/16" × 1.00" zinc plated hex head cap screw and 5/16" zinc plated flat washer. Attach the bottom to the pinch weld with a 5/16" × 1.00" black plated hex head cap screw, 5/16" black plated flat washer, and 5/16" serrated flange nut. Level the brackets and tighten all bolts.
Set the step on the mounting brackets and slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. Using the supplied 5/16-18 × 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, #11, #12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners.
Torque all 5/16" fasteners to 19 LB FT (foot-pounds).
Yes. The step is pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly.
Read the instructions completely and verify that all required parts listed on the service parts list are on hand before starting installation. For the step assembly, follow the installation instructions included with your specific bracket package.
The front mounting bracket (item #1, part number 551855) has a 3/16" offset at the top of the bracket. This offset is built into the bracket design to ensure proper alignment when mounted to the vehicle.
