This, combined with the classic styling of popular nerf bars, allows Regal 7 oval side steps to easily live up to their name. Each is set with full-width step pads that offer a non-skid surface for ultimate comfort and safety. They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe side steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval side steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty, F450 Super Duty and F550 Super Duty (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

Grip Step Brackets 401523/401723 are designed for 2015+ Ford F150 Supercab and Supercrew pickups, and 2017+ Ford Super Duty Supercab and Supercrew pickups. The manual does not specify fitment for other cab styles, bed lengths, or earlier model years. Confirm your specific vehicle configuration before purchasing.
Model 401523 is for 2015+ Ford F150 pickups. Model 401723 is for 2017+ Ford Super Duty pickups. The brackets use different part numbers for the mounting brackets (552845 for 401523, 553168 for 401723) and center inboard brackets (552843 for 401523, 553169 for 401723) to accommodate the different vehicle frames.

Yes. REGAL 7 OVAL STEPS are pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly.
Each step assembly includes 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts, flat washers, and serrated flange nuts (items #10, #11, #12). The quantity depends on the number of mounting brackets. Support mounting plates (item #9) are also included. All fasteners are stainless steel and black.
Grip Step Brackets include: isolator washers (item #3), M8-1.25 flange nuts (item #4), 3/8"-16 x 1.0" hex bolts (item #5), 3/8" flat washers (item #6), 3/8"-16 flange nuts (item #7), rubber cushion washers (item #8), and double-end studs 3/8"-16 x 5" (item #9). Center inboard and outboard brackets are also included. All fasteners are zinc-plated.
Yes. The manual states: "Follow the instructions included with the specific bracket package that you are using to mount the brackets to your vehicle." The step assembly attaches to the mounting brackets, not directly to the vehicle. You must install the bracket package first according to its included instructions.
No. Grip Step Brackets 401523/401723 are a no-drill application. They mount using factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel and the existing center body mount bolt. No drilling or vehicle modifications are required.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, #11, #12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
On the left side of the vehicle, install two 1.5" isolator washers (item #3), the step mounting bracket (item #2), and two M8-1.25 flange nuts (item #4) over the factory-provided studs on the inside of the rocker panel. Repeat for the rear bracket. Check that the front and rear brackets are level and tighten all flange nuts. Repeat the entire process for the right side of the vehicle.
1. Remove the center body mount bolt. 2. Install the center inboard mounting bracket (item #10) in its place. 3. Using three 3/8"-16 x 1.0" hex bolts (item #5), three 3/8" flat washers (item #6), and three 3/8"-16 flange nuts (item #7), attach the outboard bracket (item #11) to the inboard bracket (item #10). 4. Adjust the height to match your step board and tighten bolts. 5. Check that the center bracket is perpendicular to the vehicle body and tighten the body mount bolt per the manufacturer's specifications.
1. On the short threaded end of the load reaction stud (item #9), install a 3/8" flange nut (item #7) backwards onto the bottom of the thread. 2. Install a 3/8" flat washer (item #6) and rubber cushion washer (item #8) tight against the flange nut. The stud end must be recessed in the rubber washer approximately 3/16". 3. On the long threaded end of the stud, install a 3/8" flange nut (item #7) backwards to near the bottom of the threads.
Install the load reaction stud into the center inboard bracket (item #10). Adjust the inboard nut so that the rubber cushion washer is snug against the frame of the vehicle. Install a 3/8" flange nut (item #7) on the outboard side of the stud and tighten to 19 LB-FT.
All 5/16" fasteners on REGAL 7 OVAL STEPS must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
The 3/8" flange nut on the outboard side of the load reaction stud must be tightened to 19 LB-FT.
Grip Step Brackets use the following fasteners: M8-1.25 flange nuts (rocker panel studs), 3/8"-16 x 1.0" hex bolts (center brackets), 3/8" flat washers, 3/8"-16 flange nuts, and 3/8"-16 double-end studs. All fasteners are zinc-plated.
1. Check that the front and rear rocker panel brackets are level. 2. Check that the center bracket is perpendicular to the vehicle body. 3. Verify that the rubber cushion washer on the load reaction stud is snug against the vehicle frame. 4. Ensure all fasteners are tightened to specification before using the steps.
Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT. Verify that the step is secure and level before use.
