Each is set with full-width step pads that offer a non-skid surface for ultimate comfort and safety. They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe side steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval side steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty, F450 Super Duty and F550 Super Duty (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.

Yes, the Model 409922 step bracket is designed for 1999 and newer Ford Super Duty Super/Crew Cab Pickups. The bracket package includes front and rear mounting brackets (part numbers 551855 and 551854) specifically engineered for this application.
Three sizes are available: Model 477078 (76 inches), Model 477088 (86 inches), and Model 477098 (96 inches). The 76" and 86" models come as left and right pairs. The 96" model is available as a left-hand single unit (part 552061) or right-hand single unit (part 552062).
Yes, the step is pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly.
The step is attached using 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts (part 106997), 5/16" stainless steel flat washers (part 106998), and 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts (part 102680). Eight support mounting plates (part 552052) are positioned inside the oval step above each bracket.
All 5/16" fasteners must be torqued to 19 LB FT (foot-pounds).
Each support mounting plate (item #9) is slid inside the oval step and positioned above each bracket before the fasteners are installed. The plates are then secured in place along with the step assembly and mounting bracket using the 5/16-18 x 1" hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts.
Install 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts (part 104264) in the rocker panel before attaching the brackets. Install U-nuts in the top rear hole of the first, second, and third patterns, and in the front top hole of the fifth (rear) pattern. The threaded half of the U-nut must face the inside of the rocker panel. Insert the threaded half through the large access holes and slide the U-nut toward the round hole until it seats.
Position the front bracket (part 551855) and rear brackets (part 551854) so the top hole aligns with the U-nut and the bottom hole aligns with the pinch weld hole. Attach the top with a 5/16" x 1.00" zinc-plated hex head cap screw (part 100647) and 5/16" zinc-plated flat washer (part 100034). Attach the bottom to the pinch weld with a 5/16" x 1.00" black-plated hex head cap screw (part 106997), 5/16" black-plated flat washer (part 106998), and 5/16" serrated flange nut (part 102680). Level the brackets and tighten all bolts.
The bracket package includes: 2 front mounting brackets (part 551855), 6 rear mounting brackets (part 551854), 8 black-plated hex head cap screws 5/16-18 x 1.00" (part 106997), 8 black-plated flat washers 5/16" (part 106998), 8 serrated flange nuts 5/16-18 (part 102680), 8 zinc-plated hex head cap screws 5/16-18 x 1.00" (part 100647), 8 zinc-plated flat washers 5/16" (part 100034), and 8 multi-thread U-nuts 5/16-18 (part 104264).
The front mounting bracket (item #1) has a 3/16" offset at the top of the bracket. The manual notes this feature but does not explain its specific purpose; refer to the bracket installation instructions or contact the manufacturer for clarification on how this offset affects positioning.
Four step pads (part 108909) are included, each measuring 25" x 6.5" and made of black plastic. These are part of the pre-assembled step assembly.
Eight end caps are included: 2 left-hand rear end caps (part 109233) and 2 right-hand rear end caps (part 109232), plus 2 right-hand front end caps (part 109233) and 2 left-hand front end caps (part 109232). All are black plastic.
