Built on the idea that a deluxe ride needs a deluxe entrance, these 7" ovals have a width comparable to some of the largest running boards available. This, combined with the classic styling of popular nerf bars, allows Regal 7 oval side steps to easily live up to their name. Each is set with full-width step pads that offer a non-skid surface for ultimate comfort and safety. They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe side steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval side steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Ford F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty, F450 Super Duty and F550 Super Duty (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

Step products are the largest part of the catalog and the range is unusually deep, because the right step depends on the vehicle's ride height, the width of the rocker panel and how often people get in and out. The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.

Yes. The 409922 step bracket is designed for 1999 and newer Ford Super Duty Super Cab and Crew Cab pickups. You will also need to select the appropriate step assembly (477078 for 76", 477088 for 86", or 477098 for 96") based on your vehicle's bed length.
Three lengths are available: 76" (model 477078), 86" (model 477088), and 96" (model 477098). The correct length depends on your vehicle's bed length. Consult your bracket package instructions to confirm which step length is appropriate for your specific vehicle.
The 409922 bracket package includes: 8 × 5/16-18 UNC × 1.00" hex head cap screws (zinc plated, part 100647); 8 × 5/16" zinc plated flat washers (part 100034); 8 × 5/16-18 UNC × 1.00" hex head cap screws (stainless steel, part 106997); 8 × 5/16" stainless steel flat washers (part 106998); 8 × 5/16-18 UNC serrated flange nuts (part 102680); and 8 × 5/16-18 UNC multi-thread U-nuts (part 104264).
Yes. Before attaching the mounting brackets, you must install 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts (part 104264) in the rocker panel. Install them in the top rear hole of the first, second, and third patterns, and in the front top hole of the fifth (rear) pattern. Insert the threaded half of the U-nut through the large access holes and slide it towards the round hole until it seats. The threads must face toward the inside of the rocker panel.
Position each bracket (front bracket part 551855 or rear bracket part 551854) so the top hole aligns with the installed U-nut and the bottom hole aligns with the pinch weld hole. Attach the top with a 5/16" × 1.00" zinc plated hex head cap screw (part 100647) and 5/16" zinc plated flat washer (part 100034). Attach the bottom to the pinch weld with a 5/16" × 1.00" black plated hex head cap screw (part 106997), 5/16" black plated flat washer (part 106998), and 5/16" serrated flange nut (part 102680). Level the brackets and tighten all bolts.
Set the step assembly on the mounting brackets and slide each support mounting plate (part 552052) inside the oval step and above each bracket. Using the supplied 5/16-18 × 1" black stainless steel hex bolts (part 106997), washers (part 106998), and serrated flange nuts (part 102680), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket together. Set the step plate in the correct position and tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT torque.
All 5/16" fasteners connecting the step assembly to the mounting brackets must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
Yes. The step is pre-assembled from the factory. The serial number label is located on the front inside of the driver's side step assembly.
The step assembly includes: 2 × REGAL 7 Oval step boards (left and right, part 552059 for 76", 552060 for 86", or 552061/552062 for 96"); 2 × end caps (left rear and right front, part 109233); 2 × end caps (right rear and left front, part 109232); 8 × step pads (part 108909); 8 × support mounting plates (part 552052); and fasteners for assembly to brackets.
Yes. You must follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package before installing the step assembly. The step assembly instructions assume the brackets are already mounted to the vehicle. For the 409922 bracket package (Ford Super Duty), detailed bracket installation instructions are provided in the manual.
The front mounting bracket (part 551855) has a 3/16" offset at the top. This offset is part of the bracket design and must be accounted for when positioning the bracket so the top hole aligns with the U-nut in the rocker panel.

Yes. For the 409922 bracket package, you must install 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts in the rocker panel before attaching the brackets. The threads must face toward the inside of the rocker panel.
Align the top hole with the U-nut and the bottom hole with the pinch weld hole. Attach the top with a zinc plated hex head cap screw and washer, and the bottom with a black plated hex head cap screw, washer, and serrated flange nut. Level the brackets before final tightening.
