This, combined with the classic styling of popular nerf bars, allows Regal 7 oval side steps to easily live up to their name. Each is set with full-width step pads that offer a non-skid surface for ultimate comfort and safety. They are also capped on each end with contoured end caps, giving them a professional look and added protection against small rocks and road debris. Both the step pads and end caps are factory-installed and securely bolted in place. To make sure these deluxe side steps maintain their classy appearance, we construct them from stainless steel. This gives them the durability to outlast rust through every season of the year, and the strength to be offer reliable footing with every climb. They are available in a high-polish stainless steel finish for a bright, eye-catching shine or a durable black powder coat for a tough, no-nonsense accent. When it comes to our Regal 7 oval side steps, we don't trust anyone else to build them with uncompromising quality. We design each one for a vehicle-specific fit. This particular set of side steps is designed to fit specific years of the Chevy Silverado 1500, 2500 HD or 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 1500, 2500 HD or 3500 HD (see application information to verify vehicle fitment). They install using a 3" wide channel on the bottom side and high-strength steel brackets with a durable black powder coat finish (NOTE: The mounting brackets for these steps are included but shipped separately).

The O-Mega II six-inch oval steps give a wide, flat standing surface in polished stainless or black powder coat, while the Regal 7 seven-inch oval steps go wider still for full-size crew cabs and lifted trucks. The broader running board and side bar range covers round tube, oval and boxed profiles across cab configurations, with treads positioned at the door openings where they are used.
Grille guards protect the front end against impacts, brush and road debris, built in tubular stainless or steel with model-specific brackets that tie into factory frame mounting points. Because the fit is engineered per vehicle, installation is a bolt-on job that does not require drilling or cutting on most applications.

The REGAL 7 Oval Steps (models 477078, 477088, 477098) come pre-assembled from the factory. The package includes the step assembly with end caps, step pads, fasteners, and support mounting plates. The serial number label is located on the front inside driver's side step assembly. You will also need to obtain the appropriate mounting bracket package separately, which is vehicle-specific.
Yes, the Model 401443 step bracket is designed for 2014 GM Silverado and Sierra Double/Crew Cab Pickups. It is also compatible with 2015 GM Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche, Yukon, and Yukon XL models. If your vehicle is a different year or model, you will need a different bracket package.
Three lengths are available: 76 inches (Model 477078), 86 inches (Model 477088), and 96 inches (Model 477098). The 76" and 86" models come as left and right pairs. The 96" model is sold as separate left (552061) and right (552062) steps.
Each step is attached using 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolts (item #10), flat washers (item #11), and serrated flange nuts (item #12). Eight fasteners are required per step assembly—two per support mounting plate, with four support mounting plates per step. All fasteners must be torqued to 19 LB FT.
The bracket package includes: M8 x 30 x 1.25 stainless steel screws (item #3, qty 12), 5/16" standard flat washers (item #4, qty 12), 5/16" x 1.00" zinc-plated screws (item #5, qty 6), M8 flanged nuts (item #6, qty 6), 5/16" U-nuts (item #7, qty 6), and pinch weld support brackets (item #8, qty 6). The specific fasteners used depend on whether your vehicle has threaded inserts in the rocker panels.
Yes. First, follow the instructions included with your specific bracket package (Model 401443 or other) to mount the brackets to your vehicle. Then, follow the step assembly instructions to attach the REGAL 7 Oval Steps to those brackets. The step assembly instructions are included with the step package.
1. Set the step on the mounting brackets. 2. Slide each support mounting plate (item #9) inside the oval step and above each bracket. 3. Using the supplied 5/16-18 x 1" black stainless steel hex bolt, washer, and serrated flange nut (items #10, #11, #12), attach the step assembly, support mounting plate, and mounting bracket. 4. Set the step plate in the correct position. 5. Tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
1. Attach the top of the mounting brackets (items #1 and #2) to the vehicle as shown in the instructions. 2. Insert 5/16" multi-thread U-nuts (item #7) into the upper holes in the rocker panel (unless your vehicle has threaded inserts). 3. Attach the top of the brackets with 5/16-18 x 1.0 screws and flat washers (items #5 and #4), hand-tightened only. If your vehicle has threaded inserts, use black M8 x 30mm screws (item #3) instead. 4. Install the M8-1.25 screw (item #3) and washer (item #4), place the pinch weld support bracket (item #8) above the pinch weld, and install the M8 flange nut (item #6) unless there is a threaded insert. 5. Tighten all fasteners to 19 LB FT.
If your vehicle has threaded inserts in the rocker panels, you do not need to install the 5/16" U-nuts (item #7). Instead, use black M8 x 30mm screws (item #3) in place of the 5/16-18 x 1.0 screws (item #5) when attaching the top of the brackets. You also will not need to install the M8 flange nut (item #6) at the pinch weld location.
All 5/16" fasteners used to attach the step assembly to the mounting brackets must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This applies to the 5/16-18 x 1" hex bolts, washers, and serrated flange nuts (items #10, #11, #12).
All fasteners used to attach the Model 401443 mounting brackets to the vehicle must be torqued to 19 LB FT. This includes the 5/16-18 x 1.0 screws (item #5), M8 x 30mm screws (item #3), and M8 flange nuts (item #6).
