Want to take the family on a cross-country adventure? Or perhaps you're planning a shorter trip to your favorite campground. Whatever your destination, it's important to have the right equipment, especially when towing a fifth wheel trailer. To ensure proper hookup and safety while towing, you'll need something to attach your fifth wheel hitch in the bed on your truck. Many pickups come equipped with factory-installed rails or puck systems, but if you don't have one of these already installed, don't worry. REESE has an extensive line of mounting rails and bracket kits, custom-made to the exact specifications needed based on your truck's year, make, and model. REESE also offers several Industry Standard designs, as well as fastener kits, spacer kits, and a Power Puck mounting kit, so you can be sure you're covered, no matter what pickup you're using to tow. So make it easy. Make it fun. Make it REESE, so you can make the journey as enjoyable as the destination.

Reese has designed towing equipment since 1952 and remains a benchmark for heavy-duty towing. The line covers fifth wheel hitches such as the modular M5, gooseneck couplers including the Goose Box, air-ride and short-bed pin boxes, weight distribution systems with active sway control, and the accessories that connect them, all built to exceed published industry standards.
Reese has been pioneering towing performance since 1952, when Margaret Reese asked her husband TJ to stop travel trailers rocking every time somebody walked through them. His answer, the first pair of stabilising jacks, was simple and effective enough to change the RV industry. From that starting point Reese grew into a designer and manufacturer of complete towing systems, and today it anchors the heavy-duty end of the Horizon Global towing portfolio.
Fifth wheel towing is where the brand's engineering is most visible. The M5 fifth wheel hitch uses a modular design that breaks into manageable sections for assembly, with a wider stance, tighter tolerances and a shock absorption system aimed at the jolts that travel up through a truck bed. For owners who would rather tow from a gooseneck coupler and keep the bed clear, the Goose Box 20K replaces the trailer's king pin with a gooseneck connection carrying its own air-ride cushioning.
Pin boxes are a Reese speciality. The 5th Airborne uses air-ride technology to dampen road shock and reduce the chucking motion that makes fifth wheel towing tiring, while the Sidewinder was designed for short-bed pickups, pivoting the connection point so the trailer can turn sharply without the front cap meeting the cab.
For conventional towing, Reese weight distribution systems restore load to the tow vehicle's front axle and control sway. The Pro Round Bar distributes weight evenly while damping sway, and the Pro Dual Cam II uses active cam-based sway control that works harder the stronger the sway force becomes. Complete kits pair bars, head and shank to a rated tongue weight, and dedicated sway control kits can be added to existing setups. The products suit RV owners, horse and livestock haulers and anyone towing near the upper end of a vehicle's rating.

The Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch Mounting System Bracket Kit RE58426 (Part #RE58426) fits 2004-2014 Ford F-150 models. The 2014 model year is the last year covered by this part number. For newer models, check for an updated version.
Yes, the Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch Mounting System Bracket Kit RE58426 (Part #RE58426) is designed to fit the 2004-2014 Ford F-150.
The Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch Mounting System Bracket Kit RE58426 (Part #RE58426) fits the following vehicles: 2004-2014 Ford F-150. Always verify your specific year, make, and model before ordering.
The Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch Mounting System Bracket Kit RE58426 (Part #RE58426) Drilling is required for installation. Basic hand tools are typically all you need.
Yes, this installation kit (part 58426IN) is designed for Ford F-150 models from 2004 to 2014 with 5.5', 6', or 8' beds. However, if your truck has a 5.5' bed, the trailer must be equipped with a Sidewinder Pinbox Coupler for safe operation.
No. The manual explicitly states: 'Do not install on a truck with a 5.5' long bed unless the trailer is equipped with a Sidewinder Pinbox Coupler.' This restriction applies to both the 30035 and 30095 kits.
The kit includes carriage bolts, bolt plates, pull wires (for pulling the carriage bolts through the frame), and washers. For forward brackets, use a 1" washer; for rearward brackets, use a 13/16" washer. The kit also requires a center bolt to be installed in one of the center holes in each rail.
Yes. You must remove the jounce block from the bottom of the frame on both sides of the truck before installation. The jounce block is replaced after the carriage bolts are installed.
Yes. One hole must be drilled in the frame at the rearward bracket hole on each side. However, you must follow critical safety rules: (1) drill only through one wall of the frame, not both; (2) do not drill in the ~4" zone between the parallel rows of bed sill spot welds; (3) check for obstructions (fuel lines, brake lines, structural members) before drilling to avoid damage.
The manual states: 'Do not drill through both walls of frame. Drill only through wall of frame to which bracket is mounted.' Drilling through both walls could compromise the structural integrity of the frame and create safety hazards.
The ~4" no-drill zone is the area between the parallel rows of bed sill spot welds in the truck bed. No drilling should be done in this zone because it is a critical structural area. Locate the parallel rows of spot welds before drilling to ensure you avoid this zone.
Position the brackets so that one of the front two holes lines up with an existing hole in the frame. The rearward bracket hole will not align with a frame hole and must be drilled. Measure from the rear edge of the truck bed to the rear edge of the base rail to ensure correct positioning.
Use the supplied pull wires to pull the carriage bolts with bolt plates through the hole in the bottom of the frame (where the jounce block was removed) and through the rear hole in each bracket. For forward brackets, also pull a 1" washer through; for rearward brackets, pull a 13/16" washer through.
1. Remove jounce blocks from both sides of the frame. 2. Position brackets so one front hole aligns with an existing frame hole. 3. Drill the rearward bracket hole in the frame. 4. Pull carriage bolts with bolt plates and washers through the frame and bracket holes using supplied pull wires. 5. Replace the jounce blocks.
The center bolt must be installed in one of the center holes in each rail. The manual notes that the center bolt must not interfere with the bed sill. For 5th wheel rated 18K and over, additional center bolts are required. Refer to pages 2–3 of the 30035 or 30095 instructions for the complete center bolt installation procedure.
Before drilling, check for fuel lines, brake lines, and structural members that could be damaged. The manual cautions: 'Check for obstructions before drilling. Failure to do so could result in damaged fuel or brake lines, structural members, etc.' The installer is responsible for preventing such damage.
The manual provides installation instructions for both kits but does not specify the differences between them. Both are designed for Ford F-150 2004–2014 with 5.5', 6', and 8' beds. Refer to the 30035 or 30095 product documentation for kit-specific details.
Yes. The manual cautions: 'Read pages 2–3 of the 30035 instructions before starting installation' (for the 30035 kit) or 'Read pages 2–3 of the 30095 instructions before starting installation' (for the 30095 kit). Failure to do so could result in significant vehicle damage. These pages are not included in this document.
Yes, for 5.5', 6', or 8' beds. On 5.5' beds, the trailer must have a Sidewinder Pinbox Coupler.
Yes, one hole per side must be drilled in the frame for the rearward bracket. Do not drill through both frame walls, and avoid the ~4" zone between bed sill spot welds.
Carriage bolts, bolt plates, pull wires, and washers (1" for forward brackets, 13/16" for rearward brackets). A center bolt must also be installed in one of the center holes in each rail.
Remove the jounce block from the bottom of the frame on both sides. It is replaced after the carriage bolts are installed.
Check for fuel lines, brake lines, and structural members that could be damaged. The installer is responsible for preventing damage during installation.
Yes. Read pages 2–3 of the 30035 or 30095 instructions (depending on your kit) before starting. Failure to do so could result in significant vehicle damage.
