Each box features a corrosion-resistant aluminum construction, a stainless steel locking system and a patented RigidCore foam-filled lid -- all to keep your equipment and valuables safe, well-organized and easily accessible whenever needed. This trailer tool box can be mounted on a straight-tongue or A-frame trailer, such as a boat trailer or snowmobile trailer. Each UWS trailer tool box is constructed from extra-thick aluminum for increased structural strength. The tub is welded together into a single piece for weather resistance and to easily hold heavy tools and other items. The lid features a patented RigidCore foam-filled design, sandwiched between two aluminum plates. This greatly increases the strength of the lid and helps prevent bending and warping, making operation very smooth. The locking mechanism of the UWS trailer tool box provides excellent security for your items, featuring a stainless steel, key-operated paddle handle. Stainless steel construction supplies the lock with long-lasting corrosion resistance, and the lid also has a MicroSeal gasket, blocking moisture, dust and insects from getting inside and damaging your valuables. The lid also opens a full 90 degrees for easier access, and it is equipped with self-opening struts for convenient operation when your hands are full. The box is designed to install on the tongue of a trailer. The manual shows installation examples for single-tube tongue and Y-style yoke trailers. Before purchasing, verify your trailer tongue style matches one of these configurations.
The box may interfere with a leveling crank if present. During Step 1 placement, you must ensure the leveling crank handle will not hit the box when rotated. Position the box accordingly before marking and drilling mounting holes.
You must ensure during installation (Step 1) that the lid will not contact anything when opened. Check clearance to the trailer frame, leveling equipment, or other structures before finalizing the mounting location.
You will need a drill, drill bit set, ratchet, socket set, and tape measure. The manual rates the installation difficulty as Easy.

Yes. In Step 2, you must drill holes in the front and rear of the box for the U-bolts. Holes must be drilled through the aluminum angle in the bottom of the box for added strength. Before drilling, ensure your drill locations will not puncture, cut or obstruct brake lines, fluid lines, electrical wires, fuel tanks or other critical components.

Use mild automotive detergent to clean the product. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes or other similar products that may damage the finish. For polished, gloss and other smooth finishes, polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs. Treat or seal all fasteners and exposed metal in any holes drilled to prevent corrosion.
