The box features extra-thick, one-piece aluminum construction, our patented RigidCore foam-filled lid and stainless steel locking handles. This particular UTV tool box comes with vehicle-specific mounting hardware and offers a custom fit for certain years of the Kawasaki Mule Pro-FXT (see application information to verify compatibility). It measures 59-3/4" x 12-1/4" x 10-1/4". The tub is made with 0.058" thick aluminum, welded together into a single piece for added strength. It is also shielded in a durable black powder coat finish for maximum corrosion resistance. The lid of this UTV tool box features our patented RigidCore foam-filled design. This strengthens the lid against warping and promotes smooth opening and closing. It also features self-opening gas struts for convenient access when your hands are full. The lid is finished with a MicroSeal gasket around the edges to keep out moisture and debris. For dependable security and long-lasting operation, the UWS UTV tool box is equipped with stainless steel locking handles. These key-operated handles deter theft of your tools and other items, and allow for easy access with simple lift paddles. The UTV-59KM is designed for UTVs with a square tube frame. The manual does not specify compatible UTV models or brands. Verify your UTV has a square tube frame and contact UWS at 833.387.7720 or UWSTA.COM to confirm fitment for your specific vehicle.
You need a 1/2" socket, ratchet, and socket extension. A torque wrench is recommended to achieve the specified torque values (5/16" bolts: 7 ft-lbs.). A level may also be helpful.

The kit includes 4 bolt plates, 8 carriage bolts (5/16" × 2"), 8 nylock nuts (5/16"), and 8 flat washers (5/16"). The UTV tool box itself is not included and must be purchased separately.
Yes, it is recommended. Step 2 suggests placing foam or tape (not included) on the square tube of the UTV between the toolbox and the square tube to protect the finish. This is optional but helps prevent scratches.
In Step 1, place two carriage bolts into each bolt plate. Slide the assembled bolt plates under the square tube on the UTV and turn them upright. Repeat this process for all four bolt plates. The bolt plates are then pushed into the slots on the toolbox in Step 3.

In Step 5, adjust the toolbox to the desired position while ensuring two things: (1) the carriage bolts are seated in the square holes of the bolt plates, and (2) the lid of the toolbox can open freely. Only after confirming both conditions should you fully tighten all hardware.
The manual provides a torque table for standard fasteners: M6 bolt = 3 ft-lbs., M8 bolt = 7 ft-lbs., M10 bolt = 16 ft-lbs., M12 bolt = 28 ft-lbs. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes, or similar products that may damage the finish. Use only mild automotive detergent for cleaning. For polished, gloss, and other smooth finishes, polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives.
Do not over-tighten nuts. Damage to the UTV or toolbox may occur. Follow the torque specifications on page 1 (5/16" bolts = 7 ft-lbs.) and use a torque wrench to avoid exceeding the recommended values.
