The UWS UTV tool box is the perfect way to add secure storage to your UTV -- a vehicle made specifically for outdoor work. It installs with vehicle-specific brackets and is designed for a custom fit. This hardware kit is designed for certain years of the

UWS designs and builds heavy-duty truck tool boxes and storage for tradespeople and truck owners. The line covers crossover and side-mount boxes, chest boxes, underbody boxes, transfer tanks and dog boxes. Every aluminum box is designed, fabricated and welded in Perry, Florida, with construction aimed at job-site abuse, road vibration and daily use.
UWS is a leading manufacturer and designer of truck tool boxes and truck accessories, and a Lippert brand. The company's focus is narrow and deliberate: storage that stands up to being opened and slammed shut dozens of times a day, loaded past what looks reasonable, and left outdoors in whatever weather the job brings. Its customers are electricians, plumbers, contractors, farmers, outdoorsmen and truck owners who treat a pickup as a working tool rather than transport.
The catalog covers the full range of bed storage. Crossover boxes sit across the bed behind the cab in single-lid, gull-wing, secure-lock and low-profile styles, so there is a fit whether the priority is capacity, rear visibility or working under a tonneau. Side-mount boxes mount along the bed rails and keep the bed floor free for cargo, while underbody boxes tuck beneath the frame rails of service bodies and flatbeds.
Beyond the bed, UWS makes portable chest boxes that move between vehicles and the shop, transfer tanks and combination tank-and-toolbox units for crews working away from fuel supply, and insulated, ventilated dog boxes for hunters and handlers.
Manufacturing sits at the centre of the brand's identity. Every UWS aluminum tool box is designed, fabricated and welded in Perry, Florida, by tradespeople with decades of experience, and the company's Rooted in Trades initiative is built around that connection to skilled manual work. Boxes use heavy-gauge aluminum, continuous welds at the seams, weather stripping to seal against rain and dust, and locking systems intended to resist tampering. The practical result is storage that keeps tools dry, organized and where they were left.

The UTV-59PR includes the tool box itself and four expansion plugs (1-3/8" to 1-1/2") with large washers and nuts for mounting. Tape is not included but can be used optionally to cover openings in the bottom of the toolbox to prevent dust entry in dusty conditions.
The manual does not specify which UTV models or bed sizes are compatible with the UTV-59PR. Contact Curt Manufacturing at 833.387.7720 or check the product listing to confirm fitment for your specific UTV model and bed length.
You will need a socket wrench, a 13mm socket, and a socket wrench extension. These are the only tools required for installation.
Yes. The manual specifies that installation requires assistance. In Step 3, you must place the toolbox into the UTV with help to properly align all four expansion plugs with the holes in the UTV bed.
1. Remove the nuts and large washers from the expansion plugs. 2. Insert all four expansion plugs into the large slots in the toolbox using the large washers and nuts; do not tighten at this time and ensure hardware moves freely. 3. With assistance, place the toolbox into the UTV and align all four expansion plugs with the holes in the UTV bed. Ensure the expansion plugs are fully seated and the toolbox sits flush on the bed. 4. Using the socket wrench, extension, and 13mm socket, tighten all four expansion plugs until the toolbox is secure.
Yes. The manual instructs you not to tighten the expansion plugs during initial placement so the hardware moves freely and the toolbox can be adjusted once placed in the UTV bed. You can reposition it before final tightening in Step 4.
The manual does not specify a unique torque value for the expansion plugs. The general torque table lists M6 (3 ft-lbs), M8 (7 ft-lbs), M10 (16 ft-lbs), and M12 (28 ft-lbs) bolts, and equivalent SAE sizes. However, the manual emphasizes not to over-tighten the expansion plugs, as damage to the UTV or toolbox may occur. Tighten until the toolbox is secure, using the socket wrench, extension, and 13mm socket.
Wax the toolbox after installation. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives, as these could damage the finish. For polished, gloss, and other smooth finishes, non-abrasive polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs. Clean the toolbox with mild automotive detergent only; do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes, or similar products that may damage the finish.
Periodic inspections should be performed to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight. The manual does not specify an inspection interval, so check the hardware regularly, especially after heavy use or off-road driving.
Yes. Tape (not included) can be placed over openings in the bottom of the toolbox to prevent dust from entering in dusty conditions. This is optional and not required for installation.
