The UTV-59HP is a tool box designed to mount on utility terrain vehicles (UTVs) with a square tube frame. It provides secure storage for tools and equipment on your UTV.
The UTV-59HP is designed to fit UTVs with a square tube frame. The manual does not specify particular UTV models or years. Confirm your vehicle has a square tube frame before purchasing.
You will need: a Phillips screwdriver, a drill with a 7/16" drill bit, a marker, and either a rivet nut tool or large pliers and a screwdriver. A level of difficulty is rated as Easy.
The kit includes 6 rivet nuts (1/4"-20), 6 flat washers (1/4"), 6 lock washers (1/4"), and 6 pan head screws (1/4"-20 x 1"). Extra fasteners are included for maintenance or repair. A minimum of four mounting points is required.

Yes. You must drill four holes (two on each side) using a 7/16" drill bit. Holes should be centered on the UTV rails at the locations marked in Step 2. The holes are then fitted with rivet nuts.
You need a 7/16" drill bit to drill the four mounting holes in the UTV rails.
The torque specification for 1/4" bolts is 3 ft-lbs. The fasteners should be tightened enough to compress the lock washers.
With assistance, carefully place the toolbox on the UTV. Position it in the desired location and carefully open the lid. Mark the location of the two outer mounting slots with a marker, centered on the UTV box side. Then remove the toolbox, drill the holes, install rivet nuts, and reposition the toolbox for final fastening.
A rivet nut is a threaded fastener that is inserted into the drilled hole and then secured to the UTV side panel. After drilling the four 7/16" holes, push the rivet nuts into the holes. Then use a rivet nut tool or large pliers and a screwdriver to fasten the rivet nuts to the UTV side panel. Make sure the rivet nut is properly seated before proceeding.
With assistance, place the toolbox back onto the UTV. Fasten it using the pan head screws, lock washers, and flat washers. Make sure the fasteners are tight enough to compress the lock washers. Torque the 1/4" screws to 3 ft-lbs.
After installation, perform periodic inspections to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight. The manual recommends regular waxing to protect the finish and prevent damage. Mild automotive detergent may be used to clean the product.
Wax the toolbox after installation and regularly thereafter to add a protective layer. Use only mild automotive detergent to clean it. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes, or polishes containing abrasives, as these may damage the finish. For polished, gloss, and other smooth finishes, non-abrasive polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs.
Yes. If desired, tape (not included) can be placed over openings in the bottom of the toolbox to prevent dust from entering in dusty conditions.
