The UWS UTV tool box is the perfect way to add secure storage to your UTV -- a vehicle made specifically for outdoor work. It installs with vehicle-specific brackets and is designed for a custom fit. This hardware kit is designed for certain years of the

UWS designs and builds heavy-duty truck tool boxes and storage for tradespeople and truck owners. The line covers crossover and side-mount boxes, chest boxes, underbody boxes, transfer tanks and dog boxes. Every aluminum box is designed, fabricated and welded in Perry, Florida, with construction aimed at job-site abuse, road vibration and daily use.
UWS is a leading manufacturer and designer of truck tool boxes and truck accessories, and a Lippert brand. The company's focus is narrow and deliberate: storage that stands up to being opened and slammed shut dozens of times a day, loaded past what looks reasonable, and left outdoors in whatever weather the job brings. Its customers are electricians, plumbers, contractors, farmers, outdoorsmen and truck owners who treat a pickup as a working tool rather than transport.
The catalog covers the full range of bed storage. Crossover boxes sit across the bed behind the cab in single-lid, gull-wing, secure-lock and low-profile styles, so there is a fit whether the priority is capacity, rear visibility or working under a tonneau. Side-mount boxes mount along the bed rails and keep the bed floor free for cargo, while underbody boxes tuck beneath the frame rails of service bodies and flatbeds.
Beyond the bed, UWS makes portable chest boxes that move between vehicles and the shop, transfer tanks and combination tank-and-toolbox units for crews working away from fuel supply, and insulated, ventilated dog boxes for hunters and handlers.
Manufacturing sits at the centre of the brand's identity. Every UWS aluminum tool box is designed, fabricated and welded in Perry, Florida, by tradespeople with decades of experience, and the company's Rooted in Trades initiative is built around that connection to skilled manual work. Boxes use heavy-gauge aluminum, continuous welds at the seams, weather stripping to seal against rain and dust, and locking systems intended to resist tampering. The practical result is storage that keeps tools dry, organized and where they were left.

UWS | Tough. Reliable.
The kit includes: 2 turnbuckle brackets, 4 turnbuckles, 4 hex bolts (5/16" - 18 x 1"), 8 flat washers (5/16"), and 4 nylock nuts (5/16"). The UTV tool box itself is not included.
You will need: 1/2" socket, ratchet, 1/2" wrench, and socket extension. Assistance from another person is also required to safely place the toolbox on the UTV.
The manual does not describe any drilling, cutting, or permanent modifications. Installation uses existing UTV bed tie-down points.
Wax the product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer. Do not use polish or wax containing abrasives. For polished, gloss and smooth finishes, non-abrasive polish may be used to clear small scratches. Clean with mild automotive detergent only; do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, or wire brushes.
Perform periodic inspections to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight. The manual does not specify the inspection interval.
The UTV-59CA is a tool box designed to mount securely in a UTV bed using turnbuckle brackets and tie-down straps. It provides storage for tools and equipment while securing the load during operation.
The manual confirms the UTV-59CA is designed for UTV bed mounting and uses existing tie-down points in the UTV bed. However, the manual does not specify which UTV models, bed lengths, or configurations are compatible. Contact the manufacturer at 833.387.7720 or visit uwsta.com to confirm fitment for your specific vehicle.
Yes. The manual states "With assistance, carefully place the toolbox on UTV" in Step 3. A second person is required to safely position the toolbox on the bed.
1. Place a flat washer on each hex bolt and insert two bolts through the center slots in the bottom of the toolbox into the turnbuckle bracket. 2. Place a flat washer and nylock nut on each bolt inside the toolbox. 3. Tighten all four bolts to secure the bracket to the toolbox, then with assistance, carefully place the toolbox on the UTV. 4. Attach the turnbuckles to the brackets and UTV bed tie-down points, placing two turnbuckles on each side at opposite angles. 5. Tighten all turnbuckles until the toolbox is secure.
Attach the turnbuckles to both the turnbuckle brackets (which are bolted to the toolbox) and the tie-down points in the UTV bed. Place two turnbuckles on each side at opposite angles. Using a wrench, tighten all turnbuckles until the toolbox is secure. Do not over-tighten, as damage to the UTV or toolbox may occur.
The standard torque specification for 5/16" bolts is 7 ft-lbs., unless otherwise noted in the manual. However, the manual does not provide a specific torque value for the 5/16" - 18 x 1" hex bolts used to attach the turnbuckle brackets to the toolbox. Refer to the torque table on page 1 for general guidance, or contact the manufacturer at 833.387.7720 for the specific torque value for this application.
The manual states: "Do not over-tighten turnbuckles. Damage to UTV or toolbox may occur." Tighten the turnbuckles only until the toolbox is secure and stable; excessive force can bend or crack the toolbox, damage the UTV bed, or strip the tie-down hardware.
Use only mild automotive detergent and water. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes, or similar products that may damage the finish. For polished, gloss and other smooth finishes, non-abrasive polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs.
The manual states that periodic inspections should be performed to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight. The specific inspection interval is not provided. Perform inspections regularly, especially after heavy use or rough terrain driving.
Yes. If desired, tape (not included) can be placed over openings in the bottom of the toolbox to prevent dust from entering in dusty conditions. The manual does not specify the type of tape required.
Check that all four bolts securing the turnbuckle brackets to the toolbox are tight (Step 3). Then verify that all four turnbuckles are tightened securely to both the brackets and the UTV bed tie-down points (Step 4). Tighten any loose fasteners with the appropriate wrench. Do not over-tighten turnbuckles, as this can damage the UTV or toolbox.
For polished, gloss and other smooth finishes, non-abrasive polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs. For general cleaning and protection, wax the toolbox regularly using a non-abrasive wax. Do not use polish or wax containing abrasives, as these will damage the finish further. For significant damage, contact the manufacturer at 833.387.7720.
