Warranty: Limited Lifetime Warranty (One-Year Finish, One-Year Parts)
Finish: WHITE POWDER COAT
Material: CARBON STEEL/ALUMINUM ASSEMBLY
Part Type: TRANSFER TANK
The hammerhead-style transfer tank is engineered to be the universal transfer tank for all full-size trucks. It features a unique narrowed base that fits between the wheel wells in the truck bed, even on short-bed pickup trucks (verify fitment using the product dimensions). This innovative transfer tank is ideal for safely and effectively transporting diesel and other non-flammable liquids. It is constructed with 14-gauge, pressure-tested steel and has a durable white powder coat finish. The hammerhead-style transfer tank is also equipped with a lockable, vented cap that allows for easy filling and provides extra security when your truck is left unattended. It comes with internal baffles to promote a smooth flow of liquids and to help prevent sloshing. For easier movement and installation, the tank comes with integrated mounting tabs and lifting hooks. Finally, to easily drain the tank whenever necessary, a drain plug is integrated into the base. This hammerhead-style transfer tank is a tool box transfer tank combo, featuring an integrated truck tool box for secure, convenient storage of your tools and equipment. The combo design is an innovative combination of a steel tank and an aluminum tool box, resulting in a lighter-weight solution compared to full-steel models. The truck tool box is constructed with extra-thick aluminum, a RigidCore foam-filled lid for maximum strength and stainless steel locking handles for dependable security. NOTE: Will not fit short-bed trucks with a gooseneck hitch installed (75-gallon transfer tank recommended).

UWS designs and builds heavy-duty truck tool boxes and storage for tradespeople and truck owners. The line covers crossover and side-mount boxes, chest boxes, underbody boxes, transfer tanks and dog boxes. Every aluminum box is designed, fabricated and welded in Perry, Florida, with construction aimed at job-site abuse, road vibration and daily use.
UWS is a leading manufacturer and designer of truck tool boxes and truck accessories, and a Lippert brand. The company's focus is narrow and deliberate: storage that stands up to being opened and slammed shut dozens of times a day, loaded past what looks reasonable, and left outdoors in whatever weather the job brings. Its customers are electricians, plumbers, contractors, farmers, outdoorsmen and truck owners who treat a pickup as a working tool rather than transport.
The catalog covers the full range of bed storage. Crossover boxes sit across the bed behind the cab in single-lid, gull-wing, secure-lock and low-profile styles, so there is a fit whether the priority is capacity, rear visibility or working under a tonneau. Side-mount boxes mount along the bed rails and keep the bed floor free for cargo, while underbody boxes tuck beneath the frame rails of service bodies and flatbeds.
Beyond the bed, UWS makes portable chest boxes that move between vehicles and the shop, transfer tanks and combination tank-and-toolbox units for crews working away from fuel supply, and insulated, ventilated dog boxes for hunters and handlers.
Manufacturing sits at the centre of the brand's identity. Every UWS aluminum tool box is designed, fabricated and welded in Perry, Florida, by tradespeople with decades of experience, and the company's Rooted in Trades initiative is built around that connection to skilled manual work. Boxes use heavy-gauge aluminum, continuous welds at the seams, weather stripping to seal against rain and dust, and locking systems intended to resist tampering. The practical result is storage that keeps tools dry, organized and where they were left.

No. Do not use this product for storing or transporting flammables, explosives, hazardous materials or hazardous waste, such as containers of gasoline, solvents, gun powder, dynamite, propane tanks, acetylene tanks and cutting torches. Doing so creates a danger of explosion.
You will need a drill, 3/8" drill bit, ratchet, socket set, tape measure, and marker.
For each mounting hole, you need one hex bolt, two flat washers, one lock washer, and one nut. Hardware is not included with the tank and must be purchased separately.
No. An automatic shut-off nozzle is not provided and must be purchased separately. It is required for safe operation of the tank.

Before drilling into your truck bed, check under your vehicle to ensure the drill location does not puncture, cut or obstruct any brake or fuel fluid lines, electrical wires, fuel tanks, or other components. Precaution must be taken that all fasteners near the fuel tank do not create the possibility of fuel tank puncture or other damage during a collision.
Push the tank up to the truck cab and center it side-to-side. Make sure the tank is fully supported by the truck bed floor before using the mounting brackets as a guide to mark the hole locations.
Drill 3/8" holes in the marked locations on the truck bed floor where the mounting brackets align.
No. Do not cut, weld or drill into the tank. Doing so could result in serious injury or death.
Treat or seal all fasteners and exposed metal in any holes drilled in the vehicle to prevent corrosion.
If any holes fall between the ribs on the truck bed floor, spacers will be required between the floor and mounting bracket for proper installation.
Place the tank back in the bed and align the drilled holes with the mounting brackets. Before securing, ensure the tank is level. Secure the mounting brackets to the truck bed with a hex bolt, two flat washers, one lock washer and one nut in each hole. Do not over tighten the hardware. Then attach the filler neck and cap.

Periodically re-tighten and inspect all components for signs of wear, corrosion and fatigue.
Mild automotive detergent may be used to clean the product. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes or other similar products that may damage the finish.
Yes. For polished, gloss and other smooth finishes, polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs on the finish.
