You must access the rear cargo area (trunk). You will need to partially remove the plastic threshold cover and felt trunk liner to locate the vehicle's taillight wiring. You will also need to access the driver's side ground stud and route wiring from the trunk through the engine compartment to the battery.
The T-Connector harness plugs into the taillight wiring inside the rear cargo area. Each taillight housing has a connection point with mating connectors. Beginning on the driver's side, plug the T-Connector harness (which contains the yellow wire) between the vehicle's mating connectors. Ensure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.
On the driver's side, locate the existing ground stud. Loosen the bolt on the stud, place the screw eyelet (supplied) on the stud, and re-tighten the bolt. Make sure all other ground connections are secure when removing and reattaching the ground stud.
