DRAW-TITE Class 1 custom trailer hitches come complete with all the mounting hardware needed for installation and are backed by a nationwide lifetime limited warranty. So, whether you are headed out to the campground and need a place for the cooler, taking the bikes to hit the trails in the park, or you are tackling a DIY project (maybe some landscaping or a home repair), choose DRAW-TITE and travel with confidence knowing your setup is connected with the security only DRAW-TITE can provide. DRAW-TITE: North America?s Favorite Hitch.

Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Yes, part number 24812 is designed for Toyota Matrix and Pontiac Vibe vehicles. However, if you own a Toyota Matrix XRS or XR Sport model, the center fascia must be removed before installation. The center fascia is sold separately.
The maximum gross trailer weight is 2000 LB (908 kg) and the maximum tongue weight is 200 LB (91 kg). However, you must not exceed the lower of the towing vehicle manufacturer's rating or these specifications.
You need a 19mm wrench. No drilling is required. The hitch uses existing factory weld nuts on the frame rails, so no additional holes need to be created.
The hitch assembly includes 6 M12 x 1.25 x 40mm CL10.9 bolts and 6 conical 1/2" washers. A separate fastener kit 24812F is available if additional fasteners are needed.
1. Raise the hitch into position. 2. Install the 6 M12 x 1.25 x 40mm bolts with conical washers into the existing factory weld nuts on both frame rails, as shown in the diagram. The fasteners are installed on both sides of the vehicle.
All M12 CL10.9 fasteners must be tightened to 92 Lb.-Ft. (125 N·M) using a torque wrench.
Center fascia removal is required only for Toyota Matrix XRS and XR Sport models. The center fascia must be removed for hitch installation on these models and is sold separately. Other Matrix and Vibe models do not require fascia removal.
Observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. A damaged hitch or ball must be removed and replaced immediately.
The drawbar kit is part number 3593 and is sold separately. It is not included with the hitch assembly. The drawbar must be used in the raised position only.

Yes, the T-Connector is designed for Pontiac Vibe and Toyota Matrix vehicles. The installation instructions are specific to these models.
The T-Connector is a trailer wiring adapter that allows you to connect a trailer to your Pontiac Vibe or Toyota Matrix. It intercepts the vehicle's taillight wiring and converts it to a 4-flat connector for trailer use. The system includes a converter box, wiring harness with yellow and green wires, and a 4-flat connector for storage when not in use.
Required tools are: trim panel remover, 10 mm socket and ratchet or 10 mm wrench, drill with 3/32" drill bit, wire crimpers, wire cutters, Phillips head screwdriver, and test probe. Safety glasses are also required during installation.
The kit includes: a yellow fuse holder with a 10 amp fuse, a ring terminal, a white eyelet and screw for grounding, yellow butt connectors, a T-Connector harness with yellow and green wires, a black converter box with double-sided tape, and a 4-flat connector for storage when not in use.
Yes. You must disconnect and isolate the vehicle's negative (-) battery terminal before beginning installation. This is a required safety step. You will reconnect it after the fuse holder is installed in step 8.
You must remove the rear threshold, cargo net, and cargo cover from the rear door area. You also need to remove both wiring access side panels located behind the taillights to access the vehicle's wiring connectors.
Starting on the driver's side, carefully separate the vehicle's wiring connectors without breaking the locking tabs. Plug the T-Connector harness containing the yellow wire between the vehicle's mating connectors. Ensure all connector surfaces are clean and free of dirt. Repeat this process on the passenger's side with the T-Connector end containing the green wire, routing it behind the panels and along the threshold.
Yes, drilling is required. You must drill a 3/32" hole to secure the white ground wire using the supplied eyelet and screw. However, you may avoid drilling if you can locate an existing ground stud near the connector. Do not drill into the vehicle floor or bed, and verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage to the vehicle or personal injury.
Route the black wire out of the engine compartment either along the exterior frame and through a grommet, or through the interior following the existing wiring to the rear of the vehicle. Route the wire carefully to avoid hot pipes, heat shields, the fuel tank, or any other points that may pinch or break the wire. From inside the trunk, connect the black 12 ga. wire and the red wire from the T-Connector black box using the supplied yellow butt connector.
The T-Connector uses a 10 amp fuse. The fuse is installed into the yellow fuse holder provided in the kit. Install the fuse after reconnecting the vehicle's negative battery cable.
After cutting the fuse holder wire, attach the ring terminal and secure it to the vehicle's positive (+) battery cable. Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12 ga. wire using the yellow butt connector provided. The fuse holder protects the circuit from overload.
Mount the T-Connector's black converter box on the driver's side on a flat surface in an out-of-the-way place using the double-sided tape provided. Ensure the location does not interfere with vehicle operation or passenger safety.
Reinstall all plastic trim panels, threshold, storage covers, floor covering, and other items removed during installation, being careful not to pinch or cut the wires. Then test and verify the installation with a test light or trailer. For the initial test, reset the vehicle electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.
Test and verify the installation with a test light or trailer once installed. For the initial test, reset the vehicle electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition. All connections must be complete for the T-Connector to function properly.
Do not exceed the lower of your towing manufacturer's rating or these limits: maximum 1 stop/turn light per side (2.1 amps per side), and maximum tail lights (4.2 amps total). Overloading the circuit can cause fires. Consult your vehicle's owner's manual and instruction sheet for additional information.
Store the 4-flat connector in the rear cargo area of the vehicle when not in use.
Wear safety glasses during installation. Read and follow all vehicle warnings and installation instructions before beginning. Read and follow all warnings and cautions printed on the tow vehicle's battery. Before drilling, verify what is behind any surface to avoid damage to the vehicle and personal injury. Do not drill into exposed surfaces.
The T-Connector (118460-037) is designed for Pontiac Vibe and Toyota Matrix vehicles.
Yes, disconnect and isolate the vehicle's negative (-) battery terminal before installation. Reconnect it after the fuse holder is installed.
The T-Connector uses a 10 amp fuse installed in the yellow fuse holder provided.
