Install 3/8 U-bolt through vehicle tie-down hook and receiver tie-down hook attachment with flat washer, lock washers, and hex nuts. 9. Tighten all fasteners to required torque. 10. Raise exhaust and reinstall rubber isolators.
The flat washer (item 7, 1/2" size) is taped to the rearward weld nut location on both frame rails before the hitch is raised. This positions the washer so it will be in place when the M10 fasteners are installed through the hitch into the existing weld nuts.

Mount the black box-module below the rear threshold in the spare tire compartment in an out-of-the-way place.
