These durable custom hitches are manufactured for 2015-2019 Lincoln MKC and attach to your vehicle?s frame or bumper for a sleek, clean appearance. Each hitch also has a 2 inch square receiver tube opening ? the most common and versatile on the market - allowing you to attach accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier, or hook up your pop-up, boat trailer, or utility trailer. The options are endless! DRAW-TITE Class 3 Custom Trailer Hitches come complete with all the mounting hardware needed for installation and are backed by a nationwide lifetime limited warranty. So, whether you are headed out to the campground, the lake, or the bike trails, or you are tackling a project at home and need to haul the materials home, choose DRAW-TITE and travel with confidence knowing your setup is connected with the security only DRAW-TITE can provide. DRAW-TITE: North America?s Favorite Hitch

Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

The T-One® Connector is a vehicle wiring harness system that integrates with your vehicle's electrical system to enable trailer lighting functions. It connects to the vehicle's factory wiring harness and provides a 4-flat connector outlet for trailer use. The system includes a black box connector unit, wiring harnesses with scotch lock connectors, a fuse holder with 15 amp fuse, grounding hardware, and cable ties for secure routing.
The manual documents installation for the 2017 Lincoln MKC. The wire colors referenced (grey/brown stripe, blue/grey stripe on driver's side; violet/orange stripe on passenger's side) are specific to this model. Before purchasing, verify your vehicle model and year match the documented application, or contact the manufacturer to confirm compatibility with your specific vehicle.
You will need: trim panel remover, drill with 3/32" drill bit, wire crimpers, wire cutters, Phillips head screwdriver, and test probe. These tools are required to access the vehicle's wiring, expose harness connections, drill the grounding hole, and verify electrical connections during installation.
The kit includes: T-One® Connector black box unit, yellow and brown wire harnesses with scotch lock connectors, green wire harness, white grounding wire with eyelet and screw, black 12 ga. power wire, yellow fuse holder with 15 amp fuse, yellow butt connector, double-sided tape, and cable ties. All fasteners and connectors needed for installation are provided.
Yes. You must disconnect the vehicle's negative (-) battery cable before making the final power connection to the battery. This is done in Step 12 before attaching the fuse holder ring terminal to the positive battery cable. After all connections are complete and the 15 amp fuse is installed, you reconnect the negative battery cable in Step 14.
You must partially remove the plastic threshold cover, side panels, air compressor, and cargo trays from the rear cargo area to access the vehicle's wiring harness. These items should be set aside during installation and reinstalled in Step 15. Take care not to pinch or cut wires when reinstalling.
On the driver's side, plug the yellow wire harness into the scotch lock on the grey/brown stripe wire, and plug the brown wire harness into the scotch lock on the blue/grey stripe wire. On the passenger's side, plug the green wire harness into the scotch lock on the violet/orange stripe wire. Ensure all connectors are fully inserted. Note: wire colors are specific to the 2017 Lincoln MKC; verify your vehicle's wire colors before connecting.
Mount the black box on the driver's side using the double-sided tape provided. Secure the remainder of the harness with cable ties to prevent damage or rattling, being careful to avoid areas that would cut or pinch the wire.
Drilling is required only for the grounding connection. You must locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as an existing ground stud. If no existing stud is available, drill a 3/32" hole and secure the white grounding wire using the eyelet and screw provided. Do not drill into the vehicle floor or bed. Before drilling, verify what is behind the surface to avoid damage to the vehicle or personal injury.
Use a 3/32" drill bit to create the grounding hole. Before drilling, clean dirt and rustproofing from the area and verify what is behind the surface to avoid damage.
Locate the black 12 ga. power wire from the T-One® Connector box on the driver's side. Route the black wire along the exterior frame or follow existing wiring along the thresholds into the engine compartment up to the battery. Avoid areas that may pinch or break the wire. If routing through a grommet and along the exterior, carefully avoid hot pipes, heat shields, fuel tank, or other points that may pinch or break the wire.
The system uses a 15 amp fuse. The fuse holder is provided with the kit. Install the 15 amp fuse into the fuse holder after reconnecting the vehicle's negative battery cable in Step 14. Do not exceed this amperage rating.
After disconnecting the vehicle's negative battery cable, remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder if not already removed. Cut the fuse holder wire and attach the ring terminal to the vehicle's positive (+) battery cable. Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12 ga. wire using the yellow butt connector provided. Reinstall the nut on the battery stud. Install the 15 amp fuse into the fuse holder after reconnecting the negative battery cable.
The T-One® Connector harness includes: yellow wire (connects to grey/brown stripe vehicle wire on driver's side), brown wire (connects to blue/grey stripe vehicle wire on driver's side), green wire (connects to violet/orange stripe vehicle wire on passenger's side), white wire (grounding), and black 12 ga. wire (power). Note: these wire colors are specific to the 2017 Lincoln MKC; your vehicle may use different colors.
Always wear safety glasses and follow all safety precautions during installation. When untaping the vehicle's wire harness, be careful not to nick or cut any exposed wires. When probing wires, do not probe across two wires or across vehicle structure. Before drilling, verify what is behind any surface to avoid damage to the vehicle or personal injury. Do not drill into vehicle floor, bed, or exposed surfaces. Avoid hot pipes, heat shields, and fuel tank when routing the power wire. Do not exceed the product's amperage ratings, as overloading circuits can cause fires.
After installation is complete, test and verify the installation with a test light or trailer. For the initial test, reset the vehicle's electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition. All connections must be complete for the T-One® Connector to function properly. Verify that all wires are properly connected and secured before testing.
After installation: (1) Reconnect the vehicle's negative battery cable. (2) Install the 15 amp fuse into the fuse holder. (3) Reinstall all plastic trim panels, threshold, storage covers, floor covering, and other items removed during installation, being careful not to pinch or cut wires. (4) Route the 4-flat connector through the driver's side trim panel into the side storage compartment and store it there when not in use. (5) Test the system with a test light or trailer and reset the vehicle electrical system by temporarily removing the ignition key.
Do not exceed the lower of the towing manufacturer's rating (including in your vehicle owner's manual) or the specific amperage ratings stated on the product. The system uses a 15 amp fuse. Overloading circuits can cause fires. Consult your vehicle's owner's manual and the product documentation for the specific amperage limits applicable to your vehicle.
Route the T-One® Connector end with the green wire to the passenger's side behind the panels and along the threshold. Secure the harness with cable ties provided to prevent damage or rattling, being careful to avoid areas that would cut or pinch the wire.
Route the 4-flat connector through the driver's side trim panel into the side storage compartment and store it there when not in use.
You need: trim panel remover, drill with 3/32" bit, wire crimpers, wire cutters, Phillips screwdriver, and test probe.
Yes, disconnect the negative battery cable before making the final power connection in Step 12. Reconnect it after installing the 15 amp fuse in Step 14.
