The options are endless! DRAW-TITE Class 3 Custom Trailer Hitches come complete with all the mounting hardware needed for installation and are backed by a nationwide lifetime limited warranty. So, whether you are headed out to the campground, the lake, or the bike trails, or you are tackling a project at home and need to haul the materials home, choose DRAW-TITE and travel with confidence knowing your setup is connected with the security only DRAW-TITE can provide. DRAW-TITE: North America?s Favorite Hitch

Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

The 76551F fastener kit includes: 4 carriage bolts (7/16"-14 x 1.75, GR5), 4 spacers (.875 x 2.00 x .109), 4 conical washers (7/16"), 4 hex nuts (7/16"-14 GR2), and 4 pull wires (7/16"). These are used for vehicles without existing weldnuts on the frame rails.
Using the pull wire, feed 2 carriage bolts and 2 spacers through the access hole (both sides), leaving pull wires attached to hardware and hardware inside the frame temporarily. Raise the hitch and feed the pull wire previously installed through the hitch bracket slot. Remove pull wires and loosely install the conical washer and hex nut to the hitch. The conical washer teeth side must be against the hitch. Then tighten the 7/16" fasteners to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N·M).
Raise the hitch into position over the exhaust and forward enough so that the receiver clears the bottom edge of the fascia. Align the holes in the hitch with the vehicle's existing weldnuts and install the M10x1.5x40mm bolts that were removed earlier. Tighten the M10 fasteners to 53 Lb.-Ft. (72 N·M).
If excess sway occurs, take your foot off the gas pedal and hold the steering wheel as steady as possible. Do not apply your brakes and do not speed up.

Always wear your seatbelt. Slow down when towing and never exceed posted speed limits. Load the trailer heavier in front. If excess sway occurs, take your foot off the gas and hold the steering wheel steady; do not brake or speed up. Always wear safety glasses during installation.
Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch secure during towing.
Ensure the hitch is raised high enough into position so that the receiver clears the bottom edge of the fascia. If it does not clear, verify that the bumper fascia has been trimmed correctly according to Figures 2 and 3, and that the hitch is positioned far enough forward.
Check all fasteners periodically to ensure they are properly tightened. If fasteners have loosened, retighten them to the correct torque specification: 53 Lb.-Ft. (72 N·M) for M10 fasteners on vehicles with existing weldnuts, or 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N·M) for 7/16" fasteners on vehicles without weldnuts.
The T-One® Connector is a vehicle wiring interface that connects to your vehicle's taillight wiring harness on both driver and passenger sides. It allows you to connect a trailer or towing equipment by intercepting the vehicle's existing light signals. The connector includes a black box module, colored wires (yellow for driver side, green for passenger side), and a 4-flat connector for the trailer, which you store in the rear cargo area when not in use.
The manual shows installation on a Volkswagen Tiguan but does not provide a complete list of compatible vehicles. To confirm fitment, contact the manufacturer or your retailer with your vehicle's year, make, model, and body style. Compatibility depends on the vehicle's taillight wiring harness design and the ability to access and separate the connectors safely.
You will need: 10mm socket and ratchet or 10mm wrench, drill with 3/32" drill bit, wire crimpers, wire cutter, and Phillips head screwdriver. You will also need access to the vehicle's rear cargo area and the ability to locate and safely separate the taillight wiring harness connectors on both sides.
The kit includes: the T-One® Connector black box module, yellow and green connector ends, white wire with eyelet and screw for grounding, black 12 ga. power wire, yellow fuse holder with 15 amp fuse, yellow butt connector, double-sided tape for mounting the black box, cable ties for securing the harness, and a 4-flat connector for the trailer (to be stored in the rear cargo area when not in use).
Yes. You must disconnect the vehicle's negative (−) battery cable before making the final power connection. The battery remains disconnected until step 10, when you reconnect the negative cable after the fuse holder has been properly attached to the positive battery cable and connected to the black 12 ga. wire.
You must open the rear hatch and partially remove the plastic threshold cover, side panels, and cargo trays to access the vehicle's taillight wiring harness inside the rear cargo area. You will need to locate the taillight wiring connectors on both the driver and passenger sides. All connector surfaces must be clean and free of dirt before installation.
On the driver's side, insert the T-One® Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle's taillight wiring connectors and lock into place, being careful not to damage the locking tabs and ensuring full insertion. Repeat on the passenger's side with the green wire connector, routing it down the threshold. Both connectors must be fully inserted with locking tabs in place for proper function.
Mount the black box on the driver's side of the vehicle using the double-sided tape provided. The tape should be applied to a clean, dry surface near the taillight connector area.
You should first locate a suitable existing grounding point near the connector, such as an existing ground stud. If no suitable ground point exists, you may drill a 3/32" hole to secure the white ground wire using the eyelet and screw provided. Do not drill into the vehicle floor or bed. Before drilling, verify what is behind the surface to avoid damage to the vehicle or personal injury. Clean dirt and rustproofing from the area before securing the ground wire.
Do not drill into the vehicle floor or bed. Do not drill into any exposed surfaces. Always verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage to the vehicle or personal injury.
Locate the black 12 ga. power wire from the T-One® Connector black box on the driver's side. Route the black wire along the exterior frame or follow existing wiring along the thresholds into the engine compartment up to the battery. Avoid areas that may pinch or break the wire. If routing through a grommet and along the exterior of the vehicle, carefully avoid hot pipes, heat shields, the fuel tank, and any other points that may pinch or break the wire.
The power wire from the T-One® Connector black box to the battery is black 12 ga. (12 gauge). This wire is connected to the positive (+) battery cable through a yellow fuse holder containing a 15 amp fuse.
Install a 15 amp fuse into the yellow fuse holder provided. This fuse is installed in step 10, after the negative battery cable has been reconnected.
First, disconnect the vehicle's negative (−) battery cable. Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder if not already removed. Cut the fuse holder wire and attach the ring terminal to the vehicle's positive (+) battery cable. Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12 ga. wire using the yellow butt connector provided. Then reconnect the negative battery cable and install the 15 amp fuse into the fuse holder.
The T-One® Connector uses three main wires: yellow wire (driver's side taillight connector), green wire (passenger's side taillight connector), and white wire (ground connection). The black 12 ga. power wire connects from the black box to the vehicle's positive battery through the fuse holder.
Always wear safety glasses during installation. Read and follow all warnings and instructions included with the product before beginning. Verify what is behind any surface before drilling. Do not drill into vehicle floor, bed, or exposed surfaces. Avoid hot pipes, heat shields, fuel tank, and pinch points when routing wires. Do not exceed the product's amperage rating or the towing manufacturer's rating. Read and follow all warnings and cautions printed on the vehicle's battery.
The manual specifies a 15 amp fuse but does not state an overall amperage rating for the connector. You must not exceed the lower of: the towing manufacturer's rating (including that in your vehicle owner's manual) or the specific amperage ratings stated on the product itself. Overloading circuits can cause fires.
After installation is complete, test and verify the installation with a test light or by connecting a trailer. The vehicle must be running to function test the T-One® Connector. All connections must be complete for the connector to function properly.
Store the 4-flat connector in the rear cargo area when not in use.
Secure the remainder of the T-One® Connector harness with the cable ties provided to prevent damage or rattling. Be careful to avoid any areas that would pinch, cut, or melt the wire. Then reinstall all plastic trim panels, threshold, storage covers, floor covering, and other items that were removed during installation, being careful not to pinch or cut the wires.
Drilling is optional. You should first locate an existing ground stud. If none is available, you may drill a 3/32" hole for the ground wire, but do not drill into the vehicle floor, bed, or exposed surfaces.
The T-One® Connector uses a 15 amp fuse in the yellow fuse holder provided.
Yes, disconnect the negative battery cable before making the final power connection in step 9. Reconnect it after the fuse holder is properly attached in step 10.
Always wear safety glasses during installation and follow all safety precautions.
Test with a test light or trailer while the vehicle is running. All connections must be complete for proper function.
