These durable custom hitches are manufactured for 2018-2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio and attach to your vehicle?s frame or bumper for a sleek, clean appearance. Each hitch also has a 2 inch square receiver tube opening ? the most common and versatile on the market - allowing you to attach accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier, or hook up your pop-up, boat trailer, or utility trailer. The options are endless! DRAW-TITE Class 3 Custom Trailer Hitches come complete with all the mounting hardware needed for installation and are backed by a nationwide lifetime limited warranty. So, whether you are headed out to the campground, the lake, or the bike trails, or you are tackling a project at home and need to haul the materials home, choose DRAW-TITE and travel with confidence knowing your setup is connected with the security only DRAW-TITE can provide. DRAW-TITE: North America?s Favorite Hitch

Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

The average installation time for professional installers is 80 minutes. If you do not feel comfortable performing this installation on your own or need assistance, contact a professional installer.
Raise the hitch into position and slide the hitch brackets into the end panel opening. Align the holes in the hitch with the end panel studs. Using the pull wire, feed the carriage bolt and spacer through the end panel opening, pull the wires out through bracket holes and frame rail holes, then remove the pull wires. Loosely install the conical washer (teeth side against hitch) and 1/2" nut to the bolt. Install flat washer, lock washer, and M8 nut to the top two end panel studs. Reuse the factory M8 flange nut and install it to the bottom end panel stud with the exhaust hanger bracket. Finally, tighten all fasteners to the specified torque values.
Using the pull wire (part #5482), feed the carriage bolt (1/2"-13 × 1.75) and spacer (0.250 × 1.0 × 2.0) through the end panel opening. Pull the wires out through the bracket holes and frame rail holes. Once the bolts are positioned, remove the pull wires and loosely install the conical washer and 1/2" nut to each bolt.
The conical washer must be installed with the teeth side facing against the hitch. This orientation is critical for proper fastening.
Yes. The factory M8 flange nut must be reused. It is installed on the bottom end panel stud along with the exhaust hanger bracket. Do not replace it with a new nut.
Using a marker and utility knife, cut a notch in the bottom fascia that is 3.5" wide and 2.25" deep, measured from the centerline (CL). See Figure 2 in the manual for the exact location and dimensions.
The fascia panel must be cut into two pieces. Each cut is 2.0" × 2.0". See Figure 3 in the manual for the exact location of these cuts.
Using a T25 Torx bit socket, remove six (6) screws from the rear bottom fascia panel.
Using T25, T27, and 10 mm sockets, remove six (6) screws and one (1) flange nut from the underbody panel per side (12 screws and 2 flange nuts total for both sides).
1. Using plastic trim tools, loosen the lower part of wheel well trim by unclipping the tabs from the fascia and gently pulling it outward on both sides. 2. Using a T25 Torx bit socket, remove one (1) screw in the upper area behind wheel well trim on both sides. 3. Open the lift gate. Using a T30 Torx bit socket, remove two (2) screws near the trunk weather seal. 4. Using plastic trim tools, remove the fascia starting at the outer edge near wheel wells and gently pulling the fascia. 5. Unplug the wiring on the passenger side if present.
Using a 13 mm socket, remove three (3) factory M8 bolts from the bumper plate per side (six bolts total). Gently remove the bumper beam and return it to the vehicle owner.
On each of the top two end panel studs, install a flat washer (5/16"), a lock washer (5/16"), and an M8 × 1.25 CL10 nut.
On the bottom end panel stud, reuse the factory M8 flange nut and install it along with the exhaust hanger bracket.
After all fasteners are loosely installed, use a torque wrench to tighten all 1/2" fasteners to 75 Lb.-Ft. (102 N·M) and all M8 fasteners to 27 Lb.-Ft. (37 N·M). Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch secure during towing.
After cutting the notch in the bottom fascia and cutting the fascia panel into two pieces, reinstall all fasteners, wirings, bumper fascia, and panels that were removed in Steps 1-3.
If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Do not attempt to repair a damaged hitch.
Always wear your seatbelt. Load the trailer heavier in front. Do not exceed the lower of your vehicle manufacturer's towing rating or 4000 lb. gross trailer weight and 600 lb. tongue weight. Slow down when towing and never exceed posted speed limits. If excess sway occurs, take your foot off the gas pedal and hold the steering wheel as steady as possible. Do not apply your brakes and do not speed up.
Check all fasteners frequently to ensure they are tight and the hitch is securely mounted to the vehicle. Periodically verify that all fasteners and the ball remain properly tightened.
The 76199 hitch is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty from Horizon Global. The warranty covers material defects in materials and workmanship, excluding ordinary wear and tear. The warranty is valid only if the product is installed, maintained, and used according to the manual instructions. Product replacement is the sole remedy under this warranty. To make a warranty claim, contact Horizon Global at 47912 Halyard Drive, Suite 100, Plymouth, MI 48170, or call 1-800-632-3290. You must provide the product and purchase receipt to process a claim.
For technical assistance, contact Horizon Global at 800-632-3290 or email TechnicalSupport@horizonglobal.com. You can also visit www.horizonglobal.com for additional information and step-by-step photo installation instructions.
Check all fasteners frequently to ensure they remain tight. If any fasteners are found to be loose, retighten them to the specified torque values: 75 Lb.-Ft. (102 N·M) for 1/2" fasteners and 27 Lb.-Ft. (37 N·M) for M8 fasteners. Loose fasteners can result in hitch movement during towing, which compromises safety. If fasteners repeatedly loosen, the hitch may not be properly installed and should be inspected by a professional installer.
Ensure the hitch brackets are fully inserted into the end panel opening before attempting to align the holes with the end panel studs. Raise the hitch into position and slide the brackets into the opening, then carefully align the holes. If alignment is difficult, verify that the bumper beam has been completely removed and that no obstructions are blocking the end panel opening. If the hitch still does not align, contact a professional installer or technical support at 800-632-3290.
If the hitch has been removed, all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels must be plugged to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. If water or exhaust fumes are entering the vehicle after installation, verify that all holes have been properly sealed. If the hitch is still installed, check that the exhaust hanger bracket is properly positioned on the bottom end panel stud and that all fasteners are tight. Contact technical support at 800-632-3290 if the problem persists.
