Made from welded steel with a black premium finish, the Hidden Hitch series of hitches are custom designed to ensure a superior fit for each make and model vehicle. Each Hidden Hitch is designed with a two-inch receiver opening to fit a number of different accessory attachments like bike racks, cargo carriers, and more! Draw-Tite Hidden Hitches are rated for 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight (GTW) and are best suited for use with accessories or light-duty towing. The integrated anti-theft lockable receiver ensures added safety when the hitch is in use, while the included anti-rattle hitch pin provides premium performance and security. When you are not using the Hidden Hitch, you can store the removeable receiver, anti-rattle pin, and weather covers in the hard sided carrying case that is included with your purchase.
These dependable, premium custom hitches are manufactured for 2019-2022 Audi Q3, 2018-2023 Volkswagen Tiguan and attach to your vehicle?s frame behind the bumper for a luxuriously clean appearance. Hidden Hitch trailer hitches have a sleek black powder coat finish for superior rust and corrosion resistance and come complete with all the mounting hardware needed for installation. Plus, each hitch is tested to meet - and exceed - V-5 and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide lifetime limited warranty.
So, take that extra cooler out to the lake, hit the bike trails in the park, or hook up that utility trailer and tackle your honey-do home repairs. When you are done, remove the evidence (i.e., the removeable receiver), and go for a cruise. With the Hidden Hitch, you can do it all! Brought to you by Draw-Tite, North America?s Favorite Hitch.

Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

The T-One® Connector (part number 118880-037) is a vehicle wiring interface that connects to your vehicle's taillight wiring harness on both the driver and passenger sides. It provides a connection point for trailer lighting and is installed inside the rear cargo area of the vehicle. The connector includes a black box module, wiring harness with yellow and green wires, and a 4-flat connector that stores in the rear cargo area when not in use.
The manual shows the Volkswagen Tiguan as an example application, but does not provide a complete list of compatible vehicles. Contact the manufacturer or your retailer to confirm compatibility with your specific vehicle model and year before purchasing.
You will need: 10mm socket and ratchet or 10mm wrench, drill with 3/32" drill bit, wire crimpers, wire cutter, and Philips head screwdriver. The manual also mentions a panel removal tool may be helpful for accessing the rear cargo area.
The kit includes: the T-One® Connector black box module, yellow and green wiring harness, double-sided tape for mounting the black box, white grounding wire with eyelet and screw, black 12 gauge power wire, yellow fuse holder with 15 amp fuse, yellow butt connector, cable ties, and a 4-flat connector for storage in the rear cargo area when not in use.
Yes. You must disconnect the vehicle's negative (-) battery cable before making the final power connections. The negative cable is disconnected in step 9 before attaching the fuse holder to the positive battery terminal, and is reconnected in step 10 after the 15 amp fuse is installed.
Yes. You must open the rear hatch and partially remove the plastic threshold cover, side panels, and cargo trays to locate the vehicle's taillight wiring harness inside the rear cargo area. These components must be reinstalled carefully at the end of installation without pinching or cutting the wires.
On the driver's side, locate the vehicle's taillight wiring harness connector. Separate the connector carefully without breaking the locking tabs. Ensure all connector surfaces are clean and free of dirt. Insert the T-One® Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle wiring connectors and lock into place, ensuring the locking tabs are fully engaged. Repeat the same process on the passenger's side with the green wire connector, routing it down the threshold.
Mount the black box on the driver's side of the vehicle using the double-sided tape provided. The tape should be applied to a clean, flat surface near the taillight wiring connectors.
You may use an existing ground stud if one is available near the connector. If not, you must drill a 3/32" hole for the white grounding wire. Do not drill into the vehicle floor or bed. Before drilling, verify what is behind the surface to avoid damage to the vehicle or personal injury. Clean dirt and rustproofing from the area before securing the white wire with the eyelet and screw provided.
Use a 3/32" drill bit to create the grounding hole for the white wire eyelet.
Locate the black 12 gauge power wire from the T-One® Connector black box on the driver's side. Attach the black 12 gauge wire provided. Route the black wire along the exterior frame or follow existing wiring along the thresholds into the engine compartment up to the battery. Avoid areas that may pinch or break the wire. If routing through a grommet and along the exterior, carefully avoid hot pipes, heat shields, the fuel tank, and any other points that may pinch or break the wire.
The T-One® Connector uses a 15 amp fuse. The fuse is installed in the yellow fuse holder provided with the kit and is placed in step 10 after the negative battery cable is reconnected.
After disconnecting the negative battery cable, remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder if present. Cut the fuse holder wire and attach the ring terminal to the vehicle's positive (+) battery cable. Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12 gauge wire using the yellow butt connector provided. Reconnect the negative battery cable and install the 15 amp fuse into the fuse holder.
The T-One® Connector uses three main wires: yellow wire (driver's side taillight connection), green wire (passenger's side taillight connection), and white wire (grounding). The black 12 gauge power wire connects from the black box to the vehicle's positive battery terminal via the fuse holder.
Always wear safety glasses during installation. Read and follow all warnings and instructions included with the product before beginning. Do not drill into vehicle floor or bed. Verify what is behind any surface before drilling. Avoid drilling into exposed surfaces. When routing the power wire, avoid hot pipes, heat shields, fuel tank, and pinch points. Do not exceed the product's amperage rating or the towing manufacturer's rating. Ensure all connections are complete before testing. Read and follow all warnings printed on the vehicle's battery.
Yes. The manual states that for the initial test, the vehicle must be running to function test the installation of the T-One® Connector. You can use a test light to verify the installation, or test with a trailer once installed.
Do not exceed the lower of two ratings: the towing manufacturer's rating (including the rating in your vehicle's owner's manual) or the specific amperage rating stated on the T-One® Connector product itself. Overloading circuits can cause fires.
After installation, verify that all connections are complete and secure. Test the installation with a test light or by connecting a trailer. The vehicle must be running during the initial function test. Ensure all wires are secured with cable ties to prevent damage or rattling, and verify that no wires are pinched or cut by the reinstalled interior panels and trim.
Secure the remainder of the T-One® Connector harness with the cable ties provided to prevent damage or rattling. Be careful to avoid any areas that would pinch, cut, or melt the wire. Reinstall all plastic trim panels, threshold, storage covers, and floor covering carefully without pinching or cutting the wires.
Store the 4-flat connector in the rear cargo area of the vehicle when not in use.
The manual shows the Volkswagen Tiguan as an example but does not provide a complete compatibility list. Contact the manufacturer or retailer to confirm fitment for your specific vehicle model and year.
Yes, you must disconnect the negative battery cable before connecting the fuse holder to the positive terminal in step 9, and reconnect it in step 10 after the 15 amp fuse is installed.
Drilling is required only if no existing ground stud is available near the connector. If needed, drill a 3/32" hole for the white grounding wire. Do not drill into the vehicle floor or bed, and verify what is behind the surface before drilling.
The T-One® Connector uses a 15 amp fuse installed in the yellow fuse holder provided.
Do not exceed the lower of the towing manufacturer's rating (in your vehicle's owner's manual) or the specific amperage rating stated on the product. Overloading can cause fires.
The vehicle must be running for the initial function test. Use a test light to verify the installation, or connect a trailer and test the lights.
Verify that all connections are complete. The manual states that all connections must be complete for the T-One® Connector to function properly. Check that: 1) the yellow and green wires are fully inserted and locked into the taillight connectors on both sides, 2) the white grounding wire is securely attached, 3) the black power wire is connected to the positive battery terminal through the fuse holder, 4) the 15 amp fuse is installed in the fuse holder, and 5) the negative battery cable is reconnected. Test with the vehicle running using a test light or trailer.
