These dependable custom hitches are manufactured for 2020-2023 Hyundai Venue and attach to your vehicle?s frame or bumper for a sleek, clean appearance. Each hitch also has a 1-1/4 inch square receiver tube opening so you can easily attach accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier, or a utility trailer. DRAW-TITE Class 1 custom trailer hitches come complete with all the mounting hardware needed for installation and are backed by a nationwide lifetime limited warranty. So, whether you are headed out to the campground and need a place for the cooler, taking the bikes to hit the trails in the park, or you are tackling a DIY project (maybe some landscaping or a home repair), choose DRAW-TITE and travel with confidence knowing your setup is connected with the security only DRAW-TITE can provide. DRAW-TITE: North America?s Favorite Hitch.

Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Fastener kit 24992F includes: (4) 1/2" flat washers, (4) 3/8" flat washers, (3) 1/2"-13 x 2.00" carriage bolts, (2) 3/8" conical washers (part no. 01292006), (3) 1/2"-13 Grade 5 nuts, (2) M8 x 1.25 x 40 bolts, (2) spacers 1/4" x 1" x 2" (part no. 5121), (3) 1/2" conical washers (part no. 01292008), and (1) spacer 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 3" (part no. 1171).
Before installation, you must: (1) remove the carbon canister splash guard panel on the driver side by removing two push-pin rivets, (2) loosen the rear wheel well liners by removing two push-pin rivets and two screws per side, (3) lower the exhaust by removing two rubber hangers from the muffler, (4) remove one bolt from each vehicle end panel using a 12mm socket, and (5) trim the fascia with a hack saw (cut second tab on driver side and trim two 1" square notches at specified distances).
The manual does not explicitly state whether the spare tire must be removed. However, the carbon canister splash guard panel is removed from two studs on the frame rails and spare tire panel, suggesting the spare tire area is involved in the installation process.
Driver side: cut off the second tab, then mark 6.75" from the edge of the first left tab and trim a 1" square notch. Passenger side: mark 1.75" from the edge of the curvature and trim a 1" square notch (optional). Use a hack saw for all cuts.
The passenger side 1" square notch is optional. The driver side notch is required.
1. Remove carbon canister splash guard panel. 2. Loosen rear wheel well liners. 3. Lower vehicle exhaust. 4. Remove end panel bolts. 5. Trim fascia. 6. Install hitch by taping washers to brackets, inserting carriage bolts and spacers, raising hitch over exhaust, and loosely installing all fasteners. 7. Tighten all fasteners with torque wrench. 8. Reinstall rear wheel liners and exhaust.
All fasteners must be installed loosely first. Only after all fasteners are in place should you tighten them with a torque wrench: M8 fasteners to 20 ft-lb (27 N·m) and 1/2" fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).
Tape (2) 1/2" and (2) 3/8" flat washers to the hitch brackets before raising the hitch into position. Align the holes with the hitch bracket slots.
Spacers are used with the carriage bolts and conical washers to secure the hitch to the vehicle end panel. The spacers must lay flat on the end panel and be positioned horizontally. Two sizes are used: 1/4" x 1" x 2" (part no. 5121) and 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 3" (part no. 1171).
The teeth side of the conical washer must face toward the hitch.
The manual states that the exhaust must be supported before removing the rubber hangers. It does not specify the method of support. A spray lubricant or soapy water on the rubber hangers makes them slide off the metal pins more easily.
The existing weldnuts must remain fastened to the opposite side of the end panel. Do not remove them. The M8 bolts and conical washers are loosely installed into these existing weldnuts.
The factory bolts removed from the vehicle end panel should be returned to the vehicle owner.
The carbon canister splash guard panel should be returned to the vehicle owner after removal.
Yes. The (2) screws and (2) push-pin rivets removed from each rear wheel well liner should be kept for reinstallation.
All M8 fasteners must be tightened to 20 ft-lb (27 N·m) using a torque wrench.
All 1/2" fasteners must be tightened to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m) using a torque wrench.
Always wear safety glasses when installing the hitch. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. Be sure the exhaust is supported before removing rubber hangers.
If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes.
A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced.
Slow down when towing and never exceed any posted speed limit.
Load the trailer heavier in front.
If excess sway occurs, take your foot off the gas pedal and hold the steering wheel as steady as possible. Do not apply your brakes and do not speed up.
Check the hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. Periodically verify that all fasteners are tight and the hitch is securely mounted to the vehicle.
Check that all fasteners are tight and properly tightened, including the ball. Proper torque is necessary to keep the hitch firmly attached to the vehicle during towing.
The authorized drawbar is part number 3593 (sold separately). The drawbar must be used in the RISE position only.

Yes. This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
Apply a spray lubricant or soapy water to the rubber hangers. This makes them slide off the metal pins more easily.
Ensure that the spacers lay flat on the end panel and are positioned horizontally. If they are not flat, reposition them before tightening the fasteners.
Check the hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened. If fasteners have loosened, retighten them to the proper torque specifications: M8 fasteners to 20 ft-lb (27 N·m) and 1/2" fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).
Yes, the T-One® T-Connector (118818-037) is designed for the Hyundai Venue. The manual confirms this application. However, the manual does not specify which model years or trim levels are compatible, so you should verify with the manufacturer or retailer if you have a different generation or variant.
The T-One® T-Connector is a towing electrical connector that integrates with your vehicle's taillight wiring to provide power for a trailer. It uses a 4-flat connector that stores in the rear cargo area when not in use and pulls through the door when needed.
You will need: 10mm socket and ratchet or 10mm wrench, drill with 3/32" drill bit, 1/4" socket, wire crimpers, wire cutters, Phillips head screwdriver, and a test probe. A panel removal tool is also helpful for removing interior trim panels.
Yes. You must disconnect the vehicle's negative (−) battery cable before connecting the power wire to the positive battery terminal. This is done in step 8. After all connections are complete, you reconnect the negative battery cable and install the 15 amp fuse in step 9.
You must remove: the rear hatch floor covering, the threshold (held by two clips), and the rear interior trim panels on both driver and passenger sides. The manual notes that several trim panel fasteners must be removed. The French version specifies two 10mm bolts on the driver side and three 10mm bolts on the passenger side. Set all removed items aside carefully to avoid damage.
Yes. You must drill one 3/32" hole to secure the white ground wire using an eyelet and screw. The hole should be drilled into a suitable grounding point such as the vehicle's frame or crossmember. Do not drill into the vehicle floor or bed. Before drilling, verify what is behind the surface to avoid damage to the vehicle or personal injury.
The fuse rating is 15 amps. The yellow fuse holder is provided with the kit, and the 15 amp fuse is installed in step 9 after the negative battery cable is reconnected.
The T-Connector uses four wire colours: yellow (driver-side taillight connector), green (passenger-side taillight connector), black (12 gauge power wire from battery), and white (ground wire). The yellow and green wires connect to the vehicle's existing taillight harnesses on each side. The black wire carries power from the battery positive terminal through a 15 amp fuse. The white wire grounds to the vehicle frame or crossmember.
Locate the black 12 gauge power wire from the T-Connector box on the driver's side. Route this black wire along the exterior frame or follow existing wiring along the thresholds into the engine compartment up to the battery, avoiding areas that may pinch or break the wire. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder if not already removed. Cut the fuse holder wire, attach the ring terminal, and secure it to the vehicle's positive (+) battery cable. Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12 gauge wire using the yellow butt connector provided.
Route the black 12 gauge power wire along the exterior frame or follow existing wiring along the thresholds into the engine compartment up to the battery. Avoid areas that may pinch or break the wire. If routing through a grommet and along the exterior of the vehicle, carefully avoid hot pipes, heat shields, the fuel tank, or any other points that may pinch or break the wire.
On both driver and passenger sides, locate the vehicle's taillight wiring harness and separate the connector carefully without breaking the locking tabs. Ensure all connector surfaces are clean and free of dirt. On the driver's side, insert the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle wiring connectors and lock into place, ensuring connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place. Route the connector with the green wire down the threshold to the passenger side and insert it between the vehicle wiring connectors on that side, again ensuring full insertion and locked locking tabs.
Mount the T-One® T-Connector's black box module on a flat surface in an out-of-the-way place to prevent damage or rattling.
Secure the remainder of the T-Connector harness with the cable ties provided to prevent damage or rattling. Be careful to avoid any areas that would pinch, cut, or melt the wire. Do not pinch the harness in the door latch.
Store the 4-flat connector in the rear cargo area when not in use. When in use, pull the 4-flat connector through the door and close the door. Be careful not to pinch the harness in the door latch.
All connections must be complete for the T-One® T-Connector to function properly. Test and verify the installation with a test light or trailer once installed. For the initial test, reset the vehicle electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.
Do not exceed the lower of the towing manufacturer's rating (including in your vehicle owner's manual) or the specific amperage ratings stated on the product. The manual does not specify the product's amperage rating, so you must check the product label or contact the manufacturer. Overloading circuits can cause fires.
Always wear safety glasses and use all safety precautions during installation. Before drilling, verify what is behind any surface to avoid damage to the vehicle or personal injury. Do not drill into exposed surfaces or the vehicle floor or bed. Read and follow all warnings and cautions printed on the tow vehicle's battery. Read and follow all warnings and instructions included with the product before beginning installation.
The kit includes: a yellow fuse holder with a 15 amp fuse, a yellow butt connector, an eyelet and screw for the ground wire, cable ties for securing the harness, and the T-Connector harness with yellow and green wire connectors. The 4-flat connector is also included for trailer connection.
