These dependable custom hitches are manufactured for 2021-2023 Hyundai Elantra and attach to your vehicle?s frame or bumper for a sleek, clean appearance. Each hitch also has a 1-1/4 inch square receiver tube opening so you can easily attach accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier, or a utility trailer. DRAW-TITE Class 1 custom trailer hitches come complete with all the mounting hardware needed for installation and are backed by a nationwide lifetime limited warranty. So, whether you are headed out to the campground and need a place for the cooler, taking the bikes to hit the trails in the park, or you are tackling a DIY project (maybe some landscaping or a home repair), choose DRAW-TITE and travel with confidence knowing your setup is connected with the security only DRAW-TITE can provide. DRAW-TITE: North America?s Favorite Hitch.

Draw-Tite has designed custom-fit trailer hitches since 1946 and is one of North America's most widely fitted hitch brands. Receiver hitches use solid all-welded construction and low-profile designs that follow modern vehicle contours, install with minimal bumper cutting or drilling, meet or exceed V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards, and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
Draw-Tite has been leading custom-fit trailer hitch design and engineering since its founding in 1946, and it remains one of the most widely fitted hitch brands in North America. The company's stated approach is straightforward: every hitch is tested rigorously so that it performs well beyond published industry standards, a philosophy it markets as Tested Tough. It sits within the Horizon Global towing group alongside Reese, Fulton, Bulldog, Tekonsha, Bargman and Wesbar.
Custom fit is the defining characteristic. Rather than adapting a universal design, Draw-Tite engineers a trailer hitch for a specific make, model and model year, so it bolts to existing frame locations with minimal bumper cutting or drilling. Low-profile designs follow the rear contours and aerodynamic styling of modern vehicles, which matters more than it once did now that rear fascias are shaped and sensor-equipped. Construction is solid all-welded steel for maximum strength, and every hitch meets or exceeds V5 CSA and SAE J684 standards and is backed by a nationwide limited lifetime warranty.
The range spans receiver sizes and classes to suit different loads, from 1-1/4 inch receivers for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers up through 2 inch receivers for heavier towing. Front mount hitches add a receiver at the front of the vehicle for winch mounts, snow plows, spare carriers and precise trailer positioning.
The Hidden Hitch series takes concealment further by mounting behind the vehicle's rear fascia, so the vehicle keeps its factory appearance until a removable receiver is fitted. Each is custom designed per make and model for a no-drill installation that does not compromise ground clearance, rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds tongue weight. Matching plug-and-play wiring completes the towing system.

Part number 25006 is designed for the Hyundai Elantra Hybrid. However, fitment depends on the specific year, sub-model, and trim level of your vehicle. Visit the Horizon Global website (www.horizonglobal.com) for the most up-to-date information regarding application years, sub-models, and trim levels to confirm compatibility with your exact vehicle.
The 25006 is a weight-carrying hitch with a maximum gross trailer weight (GTW) of 2000 lb (907 kg) and a maximum tongue weight of 200 lb (91 kg). However, you must never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. The lowest capacity of any component in your towing system—vehicle, hitch, trailer, or tongue weight—determines the maximum load you can safely tow.
The manual lists weight-distributing hitch specifications as N/A (not applicable) for this vehicle. The 25006 is a weight-carrying hitch only. Contact Horizon Global technical support at 800-632-3290 or TechnicalSupport@horizonglobal.com if you need clarification on alternative hitch types.

Yes. The rear fascia must be removed. Remove 3 Phillips-head screws from each wheel well (6 total), 1 bolt with an 8 mm socket from each wheel well (2 total), 1 screw and 1 push pin by each taillight (2 total each), and 2 bumper bolts (Korean-built M8 or US-built M10, 4 total) from the forward side of the rear bulkhead. Start in the wheel wells and gently pull on the fascia to unclip it from the mounting tabs. Use plastic trim tools and tape to prevent scratching. Place the fascia in a safe location for reinstallation.
Yes. A 1/2" hole must be drilled into the driver-side frame using the hitch as a guide. This is a permanent modification to the vehicle frame.
Three sections must be trimmed: (1) Fascia: from the centerline, measure and mark a section 2.5" in each direction and 3.75" from the bottom forward edge of the fascia, then trim off the marked section. (2) Center under-body panel: from the centerline, measure and mark a section 2.5" in each direction and 1" from the bottom rearward edge of the fascia, then trim off the marked section. (3) Driver-side under-body panel: trim off the forward-most frame attachment as needed. Use tin snips or a utility knife for these cuts.
For US-built models: torque all 10 mm bolts to 42 lb-ft (57 N·m) and all 7/16" fasteners to 50 lb-ft (68 N·m). Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing. Thread locker can be used on all fasteners for additional security.
For Korean-built models: torque all 8 mm bolts to 27 lb-ft (37 N·m) and all 7/16" fasteners to 50 lb-ft (68 N·m). Proper torque is essential to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing. Thread locker can be used on all fasteners for additional security.
The teeth side of the conical washer must be oriented against the hitch. This applies to both 7/16" conical washers (item l) used on US-built models and 3/8" conical washers (item q) used on Korean-built models.
Fish wires (items j and k, attached to item n) are used to guide the hitch attachment bolts through the frame during installation. On the passenger side, attach items j and k to item n and follow Figure 2 instructions, leaving item n attached until the hitch is raised into position. On the driver side, attach items j and k to item n and follow Figure 5 instructions. Be sure to feed the fish wire through the hitch attachment point while raising the hitch into position.
The spacers (item r, 1.5" x 1.0" x 0.25") are used to maintain proper spacing during hitch attachment. Kink the pull wire to keep the spacer independent of the bolt during installation.
Always wear safety glasses when installing the hitch. Ensure the exhaust is supported before lowering it. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball that has been damaged should be removed and replaced.
Check that the hitch is securely mounted to the vehicle and that all fasteners are tight. Regularly check that all fasteners remain tight and the hitch is securely mounted. Ensure that all fasteners are torqued to the prescribed torque values (42 lb-ft for 10 mm bolts or 27 lb-ft for 8 mm bolts on Korean-built models, and 50 lb-ft for 7/16" fasteners on both models). Check that the ball is properly tightened.
Check the hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. The manual emphasizes regular checks to ensure hitch towing capacity and longevity of the product. Proper torque must be maintained to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.

Yes. A 3/32" hole must be drilled to secure the white ground wire using the provided eyelet and screw. The manual cautions to verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage to the vehicle or personal injury, and prohibits drilling into the vehicle floor or bed.
Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as the vehicle's frame or crossmember. Do not drill into the vehicle floor or bed. Clean dirt and rustproofing from the area before drilling the 3/32" hole. Secure the white wire using the eyelet and screw provided.
Open the trunk and temporarily remove the rear threshold plate. Partially remove the felt trunk liner behind the driver side taillight to access the taillight wiring harness. These panels must be replaced at the end of installation (step 11).
On the driver's side, locate the vehicle's taillight wiring harness and separate the connector carefully without breaking the locking tabs. Ensure all connector surfaces are clean and free of dirt. Insert the T-One Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle wiring connectors and lock into place. Route the green wire end to the passenger's side behind the panels and along the threshold, then plug it between the mating plugs on the passenger's side taillight socket and vehicle wiring harness.
Locate the black 12 gauge power wire from the T-Connector box on the driver's side. Route it along the exterior frame or follow existing wiring along the thresholds into the engine compartment up to the battery. Avoid areas that may pinch or break the wire. If routing through a grommet and along the exterior, carefully avoid hot pipes, heat shields, the fuel tank, or any other points that may pinch or break the wire.
Disconnect the vehicle's negative (−) battery cable first. Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder if not already removed. Cut the fuse holder wire and attach the ring terminal to the vehicle's positive (+) battery cable. Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12 gauge wire using the yellow butt connector provided. Reconnect the negative battery cable and install the 15 amp fuse into the fuse holder.
Install a 15 amp fuse into the yellow fuse holder provided with the kit.
Mount the black box module on a flat surface in an out-of-the-way place to prevent damage or rattling.
Secure the remainder of the harness with the cable ties provided to prevent damage or rattling. Be careful to avoid any areas that would pinch, cut, or melt the wire. Do not pinch the harness in the door latch.
Store the 4-flat connector in the rear cargo area when not in use. When in use, pull the 4-flat connector through the door and close it. Be careful not to pinch the harness in the door latch.
All connections must be complete for the T-One T-Connector to function properly. Test and verify installation with a test light or trailer once installed. For the initial test, reset the vehicle electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.
Do not exceed the lower of the towing manufacturer's rating (including in your vehicle owner's manual) or the specific amperage ratings stated on the product. Overloading circuits can cause fires. Refer to the product label and your vehicle's owner's manual for the exact amperage limit.
Always wear safety glasses and use all safety precautions during installation. Read and follow all warnings and instructions printed on the tow vehicle's battery. Verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage to the vehicle or personal injury. Do not drill into exposed surfaces or the vehicle floor or bed.
