Use a heat gun to heat the yellow heat shrinkable butt connector. Start heating from the center of the splice connector and work outward to the edges on each end until the tubing shrinks and sealant flows. Allow the connector to cool completely before inspecting the splice to ensure a proper seal.
The T-One® Connector uses four main wires: yellow wire (driver's side taillight connection), green wire (passenger's side taillight connection), white wire (ground connection to vehicle chassis), and black wire (12 ga. power connection from vehicle battery). The 4-flat connector harness is routed through the driver's side panel and threshold into the storage compartment when not in use.
Always wear safety glasses during installation. Do not touch the negative battery terminal to the positive battery terminal, as serious injury and damage to the vehicle's electrical system can occur.
